A new intelligent adaptive control scheme was proposed that combines observer disturbance-based adaptive control and fuzzy adaptive control for a composite structure with a mass-adjustable damper. The most important advantage is that the control structures do not need to know the uncertainty limits and the interference effect is eliminated. Three adjustable parameters in LMI are used to control the gain of the 2D fuzzy control. Binary performance indices with weighted matrices are constructed to separately evaluate validation and training performance using the revalidation learning function. Determining the appropriate weight matrix balances control and learning efficiency and prevents large gains in control. It is proved that the stability of the control system can be ensured by a linear matrix theory of equality based on Lyapunov's theory. Simulation results show that the multilevel simulation approach combines accuracy with high computational efficiency. The M-TMD system, by slightly reducing critical joint load amplitudes, can significantly improve the overall response of an uncontrolled structure.
Adaptive has gained significant attention in Education Technology (EdTech), with personalized learning experiences becoming increasingly important. Next-generation chatbots, including models like ChatGPT, are emerging in the field of education. These advanced tools show great potential for delivering personalized and adaptive learning experiences. This paper reviews previous research on adaptive learning and the role of chatbots in education. Based on this, the paper explores current and future chatbot technologies to propose a framework for using ChatGPT or similar chatbots in adaptive learning. The framework includes personalized design, targeted resources and feedback, multi-turn dialogue models, reinforcement learning, and fine-tuning. The proposed framework also considers learning attributes such as age, gender, cognitive ability, prior knowledge, pacing, level of questions, interaction strategies, and learner control. However, the proposed framework has yet to be evaluated for its usability or effectiveness in practice, and the applicability of the framework may vary depending on the specific field of study. Through proposing this framework, we hope to encourage learners to more actively leverage current technologies, and likewise, inspire educators to integrate these technologies more proactively into their curricula. Future research should evaluate the proposed framework through actual implementation and explore how it can be adapted to different domains of study to provide a more comprehensive understanding of its potential applications in adaptive learning.

In this paper, a multi-channel speech enhancement method using the linearly constrained minimum variance (LCMV) algorithm and a variable learning rate control is proposed. To control the learning rate for adaptive filters of the LCMV algorithm, the direction of arrival (DOA) is measured for each short-time input signal and the likelihood function of the target speech presence is estimated to control the filter learning rate. Using the likelihood measure, the learning rate is increased during the pure noise interval and decreased during the target speech interval. To optimize the parameter of the mapping function between the likelihood value and the corresponding learning rate, an exhaustive search is performed using the Bark's scale distortion (BSD) as the performance index. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the conventional LCMV with fixed learning rate in the BSD by around 1.5 dB.

Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) has become a popular choice in electric vehicle applications, due to their excellent power to weight ratio. This paper proposes maximum torque control of IPMSM drive using adaptive learning fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network. This control method is applicable over the entire speed range which considered the limits of the inverter's current md voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d-axis current $i_d$ for maximum torque operation is derived. This paper considers the design and implementation of novel technique of high performance speed control for IPMSM using adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network. The hybrid combination of neural network and fuzzy control will produce a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. Also, this paper proposes speed control of IPMSM using adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and estimation of speed using artificial neural network. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system controlled adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail. Also, this paper proposes the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network.

In this paper, a predictive control method using self-recurrent wavelet neural network (SRWNN) is proposed for chaotic systems. Since the SRWNN has a self-recurrent mother wavelet layer, it can well attract the complex nonlinear system though the SRWNN has less mother wavelet nodes than the wavelet neural network (WNN). Thus, the SRWNN is used as a model predictor for predicting the dynamic property of chaotic systems. The gradient descent method with the adaptive learning rates is applied to train the parameters of the SRWNN based predictor and controller. The adaptive learning rates are derived from the discrete Lyapunov stability theorem, which are used to guarantee the convergence of the predictive controller. Finally, the chaotic systems are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
In this paper, we present the Q-learning method for adaptive traffic signal control on the basis of In this paper, we present the Q-learning method for adaptive traffic signal control on the basis of multi-agent technology. The structure is composed of sixphase agents and one intersection agent. Wireless communication network provides the possibility of the cooperation of agents. As one kind of reinforcement learning, Q-learning is adopted as the algorithm of the control mechanism, which can acquire optical control strategies from delayed reward; furthermore, we adopt dynamic learning method instead of static method, which is more practical. Simulation result indicates that it is more effective than traditional signal system.

We propose a wavelet neural network (WNN) control method for active queue management (AQM) in an end-to-end TCP network, which is trained by adaptive learning rates (ALRs). In the TCP network, AQM is important to regulate the queue length by passing or dropping the packets at the intermediate routers. RED, PI, and PID algorithms have been used for AQM. But these algorithms show weaknesses in the detection and control of congestion under dynamically changing network situations. In our method, the WNN controller using ALRs is designed to overcome these problems. It adaptively controls the dropping probability of the packets and is trained by gradient-descent algorithm. We apply Lyapunov theorem to verify the stability of the WNN controller using ALRs. Simulations are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
In this paper, we focus upon the design and applications of adaptive fuzzy-neuro controllers. An intelligent control system is proposed by exploiting the merits of two paradigms, a fuzzy logic controller and a neural network, assuming that we can modify in real time the consequential parts of the rulebase with adaptive learning, and that initial fuzzy control rules are established in a temporarily stable region. We choose the structure of fuzzy hypercubes for the fuzzy controller, and utilize the Perceptron learning rule in order to update the fuzzy control rules on-line with the output error. And, the effectiveness and the robustness of this intelligent controller are shown with application of the proposed adaptive fuzzy-neuro controller to control of the cart-pole system.

This paper presented the real-time self-tuning learning control based on evolutionary computation, which proves its superiority in finding of the optimal solution at the off-line learning method. The individuals of the populations are reduced in order to learn the evolutionary strategy in real-time, and new method that guarantee the convergence of evolutionary mutations is proposed. It is possible to control the control object slightly varied as time changes. As the state value of the control object is generated, evolutionary strategy is applied each sampling time because the learning process of an estimation, selection, mutation is done in real-time. These algorithms can be applied; the people who do not have knowledge about the technical tuning of dynamic systems could design the controller or problems in which the characteristics of the system dynamics are slightly varied as time changes.

The objective of this paper is to develop an adaptive learning method for fuzzy hypercubes using a neural network.
An intelligent control system is proposed by exploiting only the merits of a fuzzy logic controller and a neural
network, assuming that we can modify in real time the consequential parts of the rulebase with adaptive learning,
and that initial fuzzy control rules are established in a temporarily stable region. We choose the structure of
fuzzy hypercubes for the fuzzy controller, and utilize the Perceptron learning rule in order to upda1.e the fuzzy control

are shown with application of the proposed adaptive fuzzy-neuro controller to control of the cart-pole system.
