  • Signature based intrusion detection system (IDS), having stored rules for detecting intrusions at the library, judges whether new inputs are intrusion or not by matching them with the new inputs. However their policy has two restrictions generally. First, when they couldn't make rules against new intrusions, false negative (FN) errors may are taken place. Second, when they made a lot of rules for maintaining diversification, the amount of resources grows larger proportional to their amount. In this paper, we propose the learning algorithm which can evolve the competent of anomaly detectors having the ability to detect anomalous attacks by genetic algorithm. • The essence of the definition of "tolerance" is analyzed. Motivational, knowledge and behavioral criteria for tolerance of future teachers are highlighted. Indicators of the motivational criterion are the formation of value orientations, motivational orientation, and the development of empathy. Originality and productivity of thoughts and judgments, tact of dialogue, pedagogical ethics and tact are confirmed as indicators of the knowledge criterion. The behavioral criterion includes social activity as a life position, emotional and volitional endurance, and self-control of one's own position. The formation of tolerance is influenced by a number of factors: the social environment, the information society, existing stereotypes and ideas in society, the system of education and relationships between people, and the system of values. The main factors that contribute to the education of tolerance in future teachers are highlighted. Analyzing the structure of tolerance, it is necessary to distinguish the following functions of tolerance: - motivational (determines the composition and strength of motivation for social activity and behavior, promotes the development of life experience, because it allows the individual to accept other points of view and vision of the solution; - informational (understanding the situation, the personality of another person); - regulatory (tolerance has a close connection with the strong - willed qualities of a person: endurance, selfcontrol, self-regulation, which were formed in the process of Education); - adaptive (allows the individual to develop in the process of joint activity a positive, emotional, stable attitude to the activity itself, which the individual carries out, to the object and subject of joint relations). The implementation of pedagogical functions in the information society: educational, organizational, predictive, informational, communicative, controlling, etc. provides grounds to consider pedagogical tolerance as an integrative personal quality of a representative of any profession in the field of "person-person". The positions that should become conditions for the formation of tolerance of the future teacher in the information society are listed.

  • Recently, biometric techniques such as face recognition, finger-print recognition and iris recognition have been widely applied for various applications including door access control, finance security and electric passport. This paper presents the method of using finger-vein pattern for the personal identification. In general, when the finger-vein image is acquired from the camera, various conditions such as the penetrating amount of the infrared light and the camera noise make the segmentation of the vein from the background difficult. This in turn affects the system performance of personal identification. To solve this problem, we propose the novel and fast method for extracting the finger-vein region. The proposed method has two advantages compared to the previous methods. One is that we adopt a locally adaptive thresholding method for the binarization of acquired finger-vein image. Another advantage is that the simple morphological opening and closing are used to remove the segmentation noise to finally obtain the finger-vein region from the skeletonization. Experimental results showed that our proposed method could quickly and exactly extract the finger-vein region without using various kinds of time-consuming filters for preprocessing.

  • This dissertation proposes digital video protection algorithm lot moving image based on MPEG. Shuffling-based encryption algorithms using a fixed random shuffling table are quite simple and effective but vulnerable to the chosen plaintext attack. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to change the key used for generation of the shuffling table. However, this may pose a significant burden on the security key management system. A better approach is to generate the shuffling table based on the local feature of an image. In order to withstand the chosen plaintext attack, at first, we propose a interleaving algorithm that is adaptive to the local feature of an image. Secondly, using the multiple shuffling method which is combined interleaving with existing random shuffling method, we encrypted the DPCM processed 8*8 blocks. Experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm needs only 10% time of SEED encryption algorithm and moreover there is no overhead bit. In video sequence encryption, multiple random shuffling algorithms are used to encrypt the DC and AC coefficients of intra frame, and motion vector encryption and macroblock shuffling are used to encrypt the intra-coded macroblock in predicted frame.

  • Smartphone applications like games, image processing, e-commerce and social networking are gaining exponential growth, with the ubiquity of cellular services. This demands increased computational power and storage from mobile devices with a sufficiently high bandwidth for mobile internet service. But mobile nodes are highly constrained in the processing and storage, along with the battery power, which further restrains their dependability. Adopting the unlimited storage and computing power offered by cloud servers, it is possible to overcome and turn these issues into a favorable opportunity for the growth of mobile cloud computing. As the mobile internet data traffic is predicted to grow at the rate of around 65 percent yearly, even advanced services like 3G and 4G for mobile communication will fail to accommodate such exponential growth of data. On the other hand, developers extend popular applications with high end graphics leading to smart phones, manufactured with multicore processors and graphics processing units making them unaffordable. Therefore, to address the need of resource constrained mobile nodes and bandwidth constrained cellular networks, the computations can be migrated to resourceful servers connected to cloud. The server now acts as a bridge that should enable the participating mobile nodes to offload their computations through Wi-Fi directly to the virtualized server. Our proposed model enables an on-demand service offloading with a decision support system that identifies the capabilities of the client's hardware and software resources in judging the requirements for offloading. Further, the node's location, context and security capabilities are estimated to facilitate adaptive migration.

  • In wearable healthcare systems, sensor devices can be deployed in places around the human body such as the stomach, back, arms, and legs. The sensors use tiny batteries, which have limited resources, and old sensor batteries must be replaced with new batteries. It is difficult to deploy sensor devices directly into the human body. Therefore, instead of replacing sensor batteries, increasing the lifetime of sensor devices is more efficient. A transmission power control (TPC) algorithm is a representative technique to increase the lifetime of sensor devices. Sensor devices using a TPC algorithm control their transmission power level (TPL) to reduce battery energy consumption. The TPC algorithm operates on a closed-loop mechanism that consists of two parts, such as sensor and sink devices. Most previous research considered only the sink part of devices in the closed-loop. If we consider both the sensor and sink parts of a closed-loop mechanism, sensor devices reduce energy consumption more than previous systems that only consider the sensor part. In this paper, we propose a new approach to consider both the sensor and sink as part of a closed-loop mechanism for efficient energy management of sensor devices. Our proposed approach judges the current channel condition based on the values of various body sensors. If the current channel is not optimal, sensor devices maintain their current TPL without communication to save the sensor's batteries. Otherwise, they find an optimal TPL. To compare performance with other TPC algorithms, we implemented a TPC algorithm and embedded it into sensor devices. Our experimental results show that our new algorithm is better than other TPC algorithms, such as linear, binary, hybrid, and ATPC.

  • With the development of network technology, the application area has also been diversified, and protocols for various purposes have been developed and the amount of traffic has exploded. Therefore, it is difficult for the network administrator to meet the stability and security standards of the network with the existing traditional switching and routing methods. Software Defined Networking (SDN) is a new networking paradigm proposed to solve this problem. SDN enables efficient network management by programming network operations. This has the advantage that network administrators can flexibly respond to various types of attacks. In this paper, we design a threat level management module, an attack detection module, a packet statistics module, and a flow rule generator that collects attack information through the controller and switch, which are components of SDN, and detects attacks based on these attributes of SDN. It proposes a method to block denial of service attacks (DoS) of advanced attackers by programming and applying honeypot. In the proposed system, the attack packet can be quickly delivered to the honeypot according to the modifiable flow rule, and the honeypot that received the attack packets analyzed the intelligent attack pattern based on this. According to the analysis results, the attack detection module and the threat level management module are adjusted to respond to intelligent attacks. The performance and feasibility of the proposed system was shown by actually implementing the proposed system, performing intelligent attacks with various attack patterns and attack levels, and checking the attack detection rate compared to the existing system.
