CORBA는 분산 시스템의 객체를 관리하기 위한 모형으로 여러 응용에서 장점을 보인다. 그러나 CORBA 객체의 정의에는 지속성을 가정하고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 CORBA의 BOA(Basic Object Adapter)에 객체 데이타베이스 어댑터(Object Database Adapter, ODA)를 구현하여 객체를 관계 데이타베이스에 저장함으로써 객체의 지속성을 유지하도록 하였다. 객체의 관리는 객체지향 데이타베이스 시스템이 자연스러우나 본 논문에서는 이미 구축된 관계 데이타베이스 시스템과 응용을 공유할 수 있도록 관계 데이타베이스용을 구현하였다. ORB는 Orbix를 사용하였고, 튜플의 객체로의 대응은 Tie 법과 객체포장기 개념을 사용하였다. CORBA 응용의 관점에서 데이타베이스 시스템을 이용한 객체의 지속성 유지는 지속성 유지와 더불어 많은 수의 객체를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있고, 병행성, 회복기법 등을 이용할 수 있는 여러 장점이 있다. 또 데이타베이스 시스템 측면에서 CORBA와 데이타베이스 어댑터의 이용은 사용자에게 데이타베이스 스키마에 관한 사항을 숨김으로써 데이타베이스 접근을 쉽게 하고, 분산된 데이타베이스 환경에서는 데이타베이스 모델과 언어의 이질성을 해소할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

CBD를 지원하는 소프트웨어 개발기법이 최근 많은 관심과 함께 도입되면서 이를 효과적으로 운용할 수 있는 아키텍처기반의 조립 및 활용분야가 활발히 연구되고 있다. 특히, C2(Chiron-2) 스타일 아키텍처는 GUI를 지원하기 위한 메시지방식의 컴포넌트 조합기법이라는 점에서 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 그러나, 서버측 컴포넌트 모델인 EJB(Enterprise Java Beans)의 경우 쓰레드를 포함할 수 없으며, 직접적인 메소드를 호출하는 방식으로 이하여 GUI 기반 메시지 방식에서는 수정이 불가피하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 C2 스타일 아키텍처에 EJB 컴포넌트를 적용할 수 있는 기법을 제안하고자한다. 즉 디자인패턴 중 구조패턴의 하나인 Adapter패턴을 이용하여 EJB 컴포넌트를 C2 프레임워크에 적용할 수 있는 컴포넌트 쓰레드로 생성 및 운영하였다. 이를 위하여, J2EE 1.2.1과 J2SDK1.3환경에서 구현 및 실행하였다.

A home network is a typical ubiquitous computing network that consists of various consumer devices and service environments. Home networks are requiring increasingly more complicated services, such as multimedia home theater and the monitoring and controlling of heterogeneous devices. Accordingly, a mutually connecting mechanism is needed among heterogeneous devices and services redundant. The current paper presents a Multimedia Room Bridge Adapter (MRBA) system that is designed to manage heterogeneous devices and support various services. In addition, a hardware and software prototype is implemented based on the proposed architecture.

대규모 분산 데이터베이스 시스템을 구축하는데 있어 CORBA와 DBMS의 연동은 필수적이다. 특히 개방 분산 환경에서 기존 시스템 통합시 관계형 데이터베이스의 접근 문제를 해결해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 ORB 컴포넌트중의 하나인 BOA(Basic Object Adapter)를 확장하여 관계형 데이터베이스의 연동을 지원하는 관계 데이터베이스용 객체 어댑터(Relational Object Data base Adapter: RODA)의 구현과 이를 이용한 응용 개발에 관한 내용을 기술한다. 객체-관계 사상은 Tie 방식과 객체 포장기(Object Wrapper)를 사용하여 CORBA 객체와 튜플을 일대일 대응시켰다. RODA 는 CORBA 지속성 객체의 생성, 데이터베이스 객체의 생성, 지속성 객체의 해지 등과 같은 ODA(Object Data base Adapter)가 가지는 주요 기능 뿐 아니라 관계형 데이터베이스의 객체 포장 기능을 제공한다. 이를 통해 개발자 측면에서는 RODA클래스 라이브러리를 이용하여 소프트웨어 개발 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있고, 분산 응용에서 객체지향적 DB통합시 사용자에게 단일한 정보 처리 인터페이스를 제공하는 요소 기술로 활용할 수 있다.

In this paper, we propose a method to reduce mobile social network services (SNSs) traffic using a mobile integrated SNS gateway (MISG) to improve network communication performance between the mobile client and SNS servers. The gateway connects the client and SNS servers using the contents adapter and the web service adapter and helps to improve communication performance using its cache engine. An integrated SNS application, the user's client, communicates with the gateway server using integrated SNS protocol. In addition, the gateway can alert the client to new SNS contents because of the broker server implemented by the message queuing telemetry transport protocol. We design and develop the modules of the gateway server and the integrated SNS application. We then measure the performance of MISG in terms of content response time and describe the result of the experiment.

제어시스템이 복잡해지고 다변화 되어짐에 따라 네트워크의 중요성이 부각되어지고 있다. 특히, 원격지 제어시스템의 정보를 실시간으로 수집, 분석함은 물론 제어할 필요가 있다. ENA(Embedded Network Adapter) 카드는 원격지에 있는 대상 제어시스템의 정보를 수집 및 명령을 전달하기 위한 장치이다. 이 카드의 개발은 네트워크의 발달로 인한 다양한 인터페이스 요구를 만족시키기 위하여 개발되었으며, 기존의 장치에는 없는 기능인 실시간 운영체계를 탑재하였으며, 우선순위에 의한 방법과 Round-Robin에 의한 방법으로 각각의 TASK들을 관리하도록 하였다. TCmini라는 PLC 상용제품에 적용실험을 통하여 그 성능을 입증하였다.

In this paper, We have defined an effectual way to adapt the virtual machine into an embedded system and mobile device platform using retargetable technology. For this technology, We classified platform dependent character, and platform independent character, then designed, and implemented the adapter by adopting platform dependent character to retargetable technology, which allows to express in a formal method.

This paper present a new sort of multilayer piezoelectric ceramic transformer for AC-adapt. This piezoelectric transformer operates n the second thickness extensional vibration mode. The output voltage of the multilayer piezoelectric transformer was simulated using ANSYS. As results, the maximum stress appeared at the two points where one is the middle of input and the other is middle of output side in Second thickness extensional vibration mode. And output voltage was inversely decreased by increasing number of output layers.

As a viable alternative to magnetic transformers in the power supply for portable electronics, this paper presents a miniaturized off-line travel adapter or charger for cellular phones using the piezoelectric transformer. Various design considerations in the design of ac PT adapters are investigated before coming up with the proposed pseudo-resonant topology. A prototype hardware design is also presented and verified by simulations and experiments

We developed a glasses-free 3D stereoscopic display using an LCD display panel, a view control film and a grating film for stereoscopic viewing. The observer can watch overlapped stereoscopic images for left and right eyes without special glasses such as polarized glasses.
