다문화가정 아동의 학교생활적응 과정에서 교사지지의 조절효과에 관한 연구 (A Research on the Control Effect of Teacher's Support in the Course of School Adaptation for Children from Multi-cultural Families)

  • 본 연구는 다문화가정 아동의 이중문화스트레스 요인이 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향에 대해 교사지지가 보호요인으로서 조절효과가 어떻게 나타내는지 검증해 보았다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 다문화가정 아동 중 초등학교 3학년이상 6학년 대상으로 표본을 추출하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 다문화가정 아동의 차별경험과, 언어갈등은 학교생활적응의 학습활동에 영향을 미치며, 교사지지는 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 언어갈등이 학교생활적응의 교우관계에 미치는 영향은 교사지지는 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 다문화가족 아동의 학교생활적응을 고취시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

간호사에서 교수로의 역할적응 경험 (Experience of Role Adaptation from Nurse to Member of the Nursing Faculty)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study was to evaluate the experience of role adaptation from nurse to member of the nursing faculty. Methods: Data were collected from 13 members of a nursing faculty through in-depth interviews. The main question asked was "Could you describe your experience from being a nurse to becoming a member of the nursing faculty?" Qualitative data from the field and transcribed notes were analyzed using Strauss and Corbin's grounded theory methodology. Results: The core experiential category of role adaptation from nurse to member of the nursing faculty was 'striving for survival from culture shock'. The participants used the following three interactional strategies: 'recognizing everything and entering the school environment', 'self-reflection on being a professor and integration of experiences', and 'finding a way of adapting'. Conclusion: The participants tried to adapt to life as a professor and reflected on and integrated their experiences into their new life on the faculty. College faculty need to understand the impact of changes and challenges faced by new professors during role adaptation and to support this adaptation through mentorship and organized orientation programs.

간호학과 남학생의 학과 적응에 관한 질적 메타합성 연구 (Adaptation Experiences of Male Students in Nursing Education Programs: A Meta-synthesis Study)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to integrate and synthesize findings from qualitative studies exploring male students' experiences of adapting to nursing education programs so as to obtain further understanding of the phenomenon. Methods: The meta-synthesis process was primarily guided by Noblit and Hare's approach, which consists of four stages including searching, appraisal of an individual study's quality, data extraction for analysis, and meta-synthesizing the results. Results: Findings from the literature reviewed were synthesized into six themes: 1) extraordinary choice based on job stability and gender scarcity; 2) unexpected feeling of marginalization as minority far apart from the mainstream; 3) assimilation and negotiation for relational adaptation through perspective shift; 4) fortifying the vision and identity as nursing students by meaning making for adapting to the nursing major; 5) mutual support among colleague male students; and 6) serving in the military as way of hiding out and achieving maturation. Conclusion: The findings illustrate that nursing education programs need practical changes promoting male students' adaptation to the program itself as well as preparation to be a professional nurse in the future.

다문화가족 중도입국청소년의 학교생활 적응에 관한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on the School Adaptation of Multicultural Family Youth from Accompanied Entry)

  • 본 연구는 입학 포기, 중도포기 등과 같은 다문화가족 중도입국청소년의 문제에 주목하면서 이들의 학교생활 적응 방안을 모색해보기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 본 연구는 근거이론에 기반을 둔 질적 연구를 통하여 중도입국청소년의 학교생활 적응 방안을 다양한 차원에서 밝혀보고자 하였다. 조사대상은 인천광역시에 거주하며 초등학교에 거주하고 있는 다문화가족 중도입국청소년을 대상으로 하였다. 개인적 요인, 가정적 요인, 학교 요인은 중도입국청소년의 적응과정에 긍정적으로 혹은 부정적으로 영향을 미치고 있었다. 본 연구는 적응과정에 대한 다면적 차원의 분석을 통해서, 첫째, 중도입국청소년의 학교 적응과정에서 일반 재학생과 다른 독특한 경험이 무엇인가를 검토하고, 둘째, 주변이나 사회로부터의 반응에 대한 청소년의 즉자적 대응과 적응과정을 분석하며, 셋째, 중도입국청소년이 경험하는 부적응과 이를 극복하기 위한 방안이 무엇인가를 탐색하였다. 결론에서는 다문화가족중도입국청소년의 학교생활 적응을 도와줄 수 있는 정책적 제언을 포함하였다.

지역아동센터 이용청소년의 차별 경험이 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향: 부모-자녀 의사소통의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of Discrimination Experience of Adolescents Using Local Children's Centers on Adaptation to School Life: Focused on the Moderating Effect of Parent-Child Communication)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 현재 지역아동센터를 이용하고 있는 청소년의 차별 경험이 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향과 그 과정에 있어서 부모-자녀 의사소통의 조절효과를 분석하는 것을 목적한다. 지역아동센터중앙지원단에서 자료를 수집한 아동패널조사 1기 6차년도(2016) 자료를 활용하였다. 이 패널 자료는 조사 시점에 중학교 3학년에 재학중이며 현재 부모와 동거하고 있는 청소년으로 총 392명을 대상으로 표본을 선정하였다. 본 연구는 지역아동센터를 이용하는 청소년의 학교생활적응과 연관된 변수들의 상관분석, 조절효과를 설명하기 위해 빈도분석, 기술통계량 분석, 상관분석 및 조절효과등을 분석하였다. 분석결과 조절변수인 부모-자녀 의사소통이 차별 경험과 학생생활적응간의 관계에서 완충 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 위해 의사소통의 방법과 부모-자녀가 함께하는 캠프 등의 실천적 프로그램 개발을 모색하였다. 본 연구를 통해 획득된 결과는 지역아동센터의 학교생활적응에 대한 이론적 논의를 넓히고 사회적 개입의 효과를 확대시킬 수 있는 적절한 정책적 방한을 마련하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

공군장병의 거부민감성과 우울 및 불안의 관계에서 학교폭력 피해 경험의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effects of School Violence Victimization Experiences in the Relationships between Airmen's Rejection Sensitivity, Depression, and Anxiety)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 공군 장병들의 거부민감성이 우울 및 불안에 영향을 미치는지 알아보고 이러한 관계에서 과거 중 고등학교 시절 학교 폭력 피해 경험이 조절 효과를 보이는지 알아보는 것이다. 또한 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 군 장병들의 군 생활 적응에 있어 위험 요소들을 찾고 이들의 심리적 적응을 향상시키는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 S시에 소재하는 공군 장병 126명을 대상으로 거부민감성, 우울, 불안, 학교 폭력 피해 경험을 측정하는 설문지를 실시하였다. 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 거부민감성, 학교 폭력 피해 경험, 이들 간의 상호 작용 항을 투입하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 거부민감성과 우울의 관계에서 학교폭력 피해 경험의 조절 효과는 유의미하였으며, 거부민감성과 불안의 관계에서 학교 폭력 피해 경험의 조절 효과도 역시 유의미하였다. 이를 통해 학교 폭력 피해 경험은 거부민감성이 우울 및 불안에 미치는 영향을 증가시킴을 알 수 있었다. 이들의 상호작용 패턴에 대해 단순 주효과 기울기 분석을 통해 확인하였다. 마지막으로 연구 결과를 통해 학교폭력피해 경험이 군생활 적응의 고위험 요소이며 이들을 위한 상담적 개입의 중요성 등에 대해 논의하였다.

요양원 입소노인의 일상생활 적응경험 (A Phenomenological Study on the Adaptation Experience on Nursing Home Admission among Senior Patients)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to explore the constituents and structure of adaptation experiences in their everyday life among senior patients of a nursing home in order to provide nursing intervention data for the satisfaction and the improvement of life of senior patients by appreciating the nature of their adaptational experience. Methods: The participants were five female and one male senior patients who were 65-years old or older and admitted at a nursing home in a metropolitan city. The interview data were analyzed by the Giorgi's phenomenological analysis method. Results: As the results of analysis, the following three constituents have been found out: retrospective focus based on the meaning of admission, expanding a view and facing up to the reality, reconstructing views about the meaning of life and the world. Conclusion: With the increasing number of senior in facilities, nurses not only play a key role in caring for seniors but also in managing their maladaptation. Thus, it is considered that the results obtained from the this study provide valuable information for both the senior patients and their families as well as for the nurses, by presenting the data about senior patients' adaptational experiences of nursing home admission.

학령기 자녀를 둔 다문화가정의 가정생활경험과 생활만족도 (Family Life Experience and Life Satisfaction of Multicultural Families with School-Aged Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the general characteristics and the variety of family life experiences related to the life satisfaction of multicultural families with school-aged children. Data were drawn from the first wave of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey conducted in 2010 and developed by the National Youth Policy Institute. Further, the sample for this study consisted of 95 multicultural families who met the requirements. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, the t -test, analysis of variance, and multiple regression using SPSS ver. 18.0. The main results showed that family life experiences that were made up of 5 domains, specifically time, leisure, household economy, health, and child education had a broad range of levels. In addition, family life experiences differed according to the general characteristics of multicultural families with school-aged children, such as mother's employment status, number of children, father's employment status and education level, and family composition. Lastly, their life satisfaction was significantly predicted by the father's employment status and health, children's age, children's education, and leisure in the order of significance. These findings suggested the need to expand the social intervention range for multicultural families with school-aged children, particularly in terms of family leisure and children's school life adaptation.

청소년 암 생존자의 적응 경험과 사회적 지지망 (Adaptation Experience and Social Support Network of Adolescent Cancer Survivors)

  • Purpose: The main purpose of this study was to explore the adaptation experience of adolescent cancer survivors during and after cancer treatment, and their perceived social support networks. Methods: This study was a qualitative descriptive study using the in-depth interview. Eight adolescent cancer survivors who were diagnosed with cancer between 11 to 18 years old participated in the study. Results: The adaptation experiences of adolescent cancer survivors over time were identified within five categories for during their treatment such as "being catapulted from one's life," "standing at the center of discomfort," "falling behind the line," "accepting the change," "being developed", and another five categories for after the treatment including "being shackled," "encountering the forgotten reality," "overcoming and emerging from the reality," "growing into adulthood," "entering into a new orbit." Participants reported the various members of their social support network and their roles during and after the treatment as well. Conclusion: While adolescent cancer survivors adjusted to their changing situations after the cancer diagnosis, their internalized adaptation, as well as perceived social support from their diverse surrounding network, played significant roles. These findings will become a valuable asset for developing age-appropriate nursing interventions to promote psychosocial adjustment of adolescents with cancer.

의학교육 시기에 따른 의과대학생들의 정서 변화에 대한 현상학적 연구 (A phenomenological study on the emotional changes of medical students according to the phase of medical education)

  • The study aimed to understand medical students' experiences of emotional changes, including their method of adapting to experiences, and the effect of the experiences in shaping their identities. We interviewed 12 medical students who were finishing their 1-year clinical internship in 2016. Data on their opinions and reasons for emotional changes during their school life were obtained. The descriptive phenomenological approach was applied to analyze the interviews. Their stress came from disappointment in themselves, competitive environment, observing a change in their personalities, meeting their parents' expectations, and interpersonal relations. The interviewees adjusted to the medical study by exercising self-control in their studies and daily lives, by practicing self-acceptance and observing their state of mind, and by breaking free from the competition-driven environment and obsession with grades. In addition, they cultivated endurance and found external support. Finally, they achieved self-efficacy and were comfortable in their identity as medical students. They still had to address the stress from working relationships and the difficulty in balancing studies and life. The medical students' self-evaluation and compulsive tendencies increased during the medical course due to the burden of studies. They evolved by learning self-control and introspection and seeking ways to adapt. Understanding this growth process of medical students will improve student support in medical schools.
