To provide visitors with the various services, Many web sites distribute many ActiveX controls to them because ActiveX controls can overcome limits of HTML documents and script languages. However, PC can become dangerous if it has unsecure ActiveX controls, because they can be executed in HTML documents. Nevertheless, many web sites provide visitors with ActiveX controls whose security are not verified. Therefore, the verification is needed by third party to remove vulnerabilities in ActiveX controls. In this paper, we introduce the process and the technique to fad vulnerabilities. The existing proof codes are not valid because ActiveX controls are different from normal application and domestic environments are different from foreign environments. In this paper, we introduce the technique to prove vulnerabilities in ActiveX control.

In recent years, to provide visitors with the various and dynamic services, many ActiveX Controls are developed and distributed in most of the web sites such as e-Government Internet banking Portal in Korea. However, unsecure ActiveX Controls may be critical security threats on Internet User. Although hacking incidents increase sharply for these vulnerable ActiveX Controls, there are not enough national security actions or policies. Thus, in this paper we propose the technical method to design 'Security model for ActiveX Control Managemnet through Security Authentication' to be able safe and useful security management in three aspects of development distribution using.

The purpose of this study is to understand what is ActiveX control and how to utilize it in developing dynamic web pages. For this purpose, some literature survey and experimental practices with PC were done to understand the differences among web programming technologies such as visual basic, java, XML web services. In order to scrutinize the functions of ActiveX controls and the comparison of their technology with currently introduced XML web service, a study on the history of Internet programming with a focused view on ActiveX control was also performed. With the knowledge of the fore mentioned, Actual design and building experiments of web pages using ActiveX control pad were implemented. The results show that Microsoft ActiveX controls, formerly known as OLE controls or OCX controls, developed to compete with java applet in internet battle fields, turn out to be useful in software reusability, cost-saving and time-saving etc. However, the use of ActiveX controls has been confined in window platform, Overall, this study was useful for understanding the usage of ActiveX controls in web pages.

Microsoft's ActiveX corresponding to the advanced type of COM based distributed application model is made available for the use of component communication[1]. ActiveX supports reuse of code and object linking, so developers can integrate many objects into application and improve the efficiency of development. Also, Integration of seperated application makes easy to develop customized program[2]. ActiveX, formerly used to develope communication application in Visual C++ or Visual Basic, has the efficiency of programming and is widely used in the M&C(Monitoring and Control) of instruments. In this paper, we will implement M&C application capable of remote operating, and besides, develop web browser and media player in the form of ActiveX control in order to control and monitor program remotely.

ActiveX is the general name for a set of Microsoft Technologies that allows users to re-use code and link individual programs together to suit their computing needs. In addition ActiveX technology Provides a standard model for interapplication communication that different programming language. ActiveX is based on COM(Component Object Model), the COM standard allow developer to create code and application from a multitude of different languages and build a defined interface to that code, making it easily accessible by other application. By using ActiveX, user can access the functionality of other applications running remote computer distributed through the network and communicate over the network to build distributed applications. LabVIEW provides access to other Windows applications using ActiveX technologies. So in this paper we implement distributed application using ActiveX technology for remote control and monitoring.

Mean active intensity based active control for the cancellation of radiated noise out of the duct exit is studied. The active intensity control strategy is drerived based on the relation of the exterior sound field out of the duct termination and interior sound field of the duct. One of the characteristics of this control strategy is that the control performance can be maintained regardless of the sensor loction, compared with the conventional local pressure control methods at either interior downstream or exterior field positions. It is also suggested that the digital filtering for the active intensity control can be achieved by time-domain filtered-x LMP (Lest-Mean-Product) adaptive algorithm. Experiments for an open-ended duct are performed to compare the active intensity control performance with conventional pressure control one. Active control experiment of local sound pressure is conducted by widely used filtered-x LMS adaptive Algorithm and active intensity control implementaion uses the derived filter d-x LMP algorithm. It is shown that the exterior sound fileds was much better observable by sensing of the active intensity than by just sound pressure. It is also demonstrated that the global control performance of external field by acoustic intensity is superior to the conventional sound pressure control performance.

This paper concerns on application of active magnetic bearing(AMB) system to levitate the elevation axis of an electro-optical sight mounted on moving vehicles. In such a system. it is desirable to retain the elevation axis within the predetermined air-gap while the vehicle is moving. A disturbance compensation control is proposed to reduce the base motion response. In the consideration of the uncertainty of the system model, a filtered-x least-mean-square(FXLMS) algorithm is used to estimate adaptively the frequency response function of the feedforward control which cancels disturbance responses. The frequency response function is fitted to an optimal feedforward control. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed control reduces the air-gap deviation to 27.7% that by feedback control alone.

Application of the filtered-x Least Mean Square(LMS) adaptive filter to active noise control requires to estimate the transfer characteristics between the output and the error signal of the adaptive controller. In this paper, we derive the filtered-x adaptive noise control algorithm and analyze its convergence behavior when the acoustic noise consists of multiple sinusoids. The results of the convergence analysis of the filtered-x LMS algorithm indicate that the effects of the parameter estimation inaccuracy on the convergence behavior of the algorithm are characterized by two distinct components Phase estimation error and estimated gain. In particular, the convergence is shown to be strongly affected by the accuracy of the phase response estimate. Simulation results are presented to support the theoretical convergence analysis.

본 연구는 마이크로소프트사가 개발한 ActiveX 콘트롤 기술을 이용하여 동적인 홈페이지를 제작하는 사례를 설계하고 구현 해 봄으로써 ActiveX 콘트롤의 사용가치와 이의 활용방안을 알아보고자 함에 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 비주얼베이직과 자바를 이용한 웹프로그래밍 기술과 ActiveX 콤포넌트의 기능을 알아보고 둘째, 웹프로그래밍의 역사와 ActiveX프로그램과의 관련성과 현재 대두되고 있는 XML웹서비스기술과의 비교를 통하여 웹프로그래밍기술을 이해하고 셋째, ActiveX콘트롤 패드를 이용하여 실제로 동적홈페이지를 구성하는 사례를 설계하고 구현해 봄으로써 이의 활용가치를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과 자바 애플릿에 대응하는 기술로 마이크로소프트가 OLE기술을 확장하여 만든 ActiveX콘트롤은 프로그램의 재사용, 개발시간단축과 프로그램의 기능과 품질향상에 기여하여 인터넷 내지 인트라넷용 프로그램개발 등에 쉽게 이용될 수 있는 가능성을 보여 주었으나 플랫폼 독립적이지 못하고 윈도우에서만 사용 가능한 제한점을 보여주었다.
