화학기계적 연마 가공에서의 윤활 특성 해석

  • Chemical-Mechanical Polishing (CMP) refers to a material removal process done by rubbing a work piece against a polishing pad under load in the presence of chemically active, abrasive containing slurry. CMP process is a combination of chemical dissolution and mechanical action. The mechanical action of CMP involves tribology. The liquid slurry is trapped between the wafer(work piece) and pad(tooling) forming a lubricating film. For the first step to understand material removal rate of the CMP process, the lubricational analyses were done with commercial 100mm diameter silicon wafers to get nominal clearance of the slurry film, roll and pitch angle at the steady state. For this purpose, we calculate slurry pressure, resultant forces and moments at the steady state in the range of typical industrial polishing conditions.

For the first step to understand material removal mechanism of the CMP process, the hydrodynamic analysis is done with semiconductor wafer. Three-dimensional Reynolds equation is applied to get pressure distribution of the slurry film. Shear stress distributions on the wafer surface are also analyzed

  • Inserting a $SiO_2$ layer underneath the p-pad electrode as the current blocking layer (CBL) structure and extending p-metal finger patterns, the GaN LEDs using an indium-tin-oxide (ITO) layer show the improved light output intensity, resulting from better current spreading and reduced light loss on the surface of p-pad metal. The LEDs with an oxide layer of $100{\mu}m$-pad-width and $6{\mu}m$-finger-width have better light output intensities than those with an oxide layer of $105{\mu}m$-pad-width and $12{\mu}m$-finger-width. Using the ATLAS device simulator from Silvaco Corporation, the current density distributions on the active layer in CBL LEDs have been investigated.

A Study on Male Disposable Product for Urinary Incontinence (남성 일회용 요실금 제품에 관한 연구)

  • Urinary Incontinence is any leakage of urine against their will. It is not a life threatening illness but it causes negative effects both socially and psychologically. Based on many previous studies, 20-40% of adult female and 30% of men in their sixties have experienced symptoms of urinary incontinence. As the number of active aged people experiencing the symptoms increases, demand for specialized product is growing. The purpose of the study is to research the types and features of male disposable products for urinary incontinence on the market and to provide the basic data for improvement and development of better product. Products from 6 brands (Tena, Depend, Carnation, Keepers, Molimed, Abrimen) with high brand awareness both in online and offline were selected and analyzed. And product evaluation was carried out by male in their sixties with light symptom of urinary incontinence. The results are as follows. There are three types of male products for urinary incontinence: panties, diaper and pad. Among the 6 brands, the subject of analysis, only Depend from Yuhan Kimberly produces male panties while others make ones for unisex. There is no diaper product only for male, and Tena, Molimed, Abrimen have pad type products for male. Male panties from Depend emphasizes their design considering male's physical characteristics. Male pad is differentiated with female one by having different designs like triangular or pocket type which is more comforting to men. As a result of product evaluation, wearable panties similar to normal underwear were highly appreciated and satisfactory. Among various shapes of pads, 25cm long pad with wide width of front and narrow back was valued to be comfortable.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand what is ActiveX control and how to utilize it in developing dynamic web pages. For this purpose, some literature survey and experimental practices with PC were done to understand the differences among web programming technologies such as visual basic, java, XML web services. In order to scrutinize the functions of ActiveX controls and the comparison of their technology with currently introduced XML web service, a study on the history of Internet programming with a focused view on ActiveX control was also performed. With the knowledge of the fore mentioned, Actual design and building experiments of web pages using ActiveX control pad were implemented. The results show that Microsoft ActiveX controls, formerly known as OLE controls or OCX controls, developed to compete with java applet in internet battle fields, turn out to be useful in software reusability, cost-saving and time-saving etc. However, the use of ActiveX controls has been confined in window platform, Overall, this study was useful for understanding the usage of ActiveX controls in web pages.

Content Creation and Flow: Why They Clik or Create UCCs (콘텐츠 창조와 플로우:동영상 UCC 이용 동기)

  • This study looks at motivations of video UCC users as a member of creative class. A qualitative research method was used for analyzing data collected by interviews. Killing time users, active clickers and creators are distinguished as different types of UCC users and their differing motivations are explored. The findings of the study are as follows: First, information sharing, self presentation, communication needs, ease of use for self presentation, usefulness are expressed as motivating factors for both active clickers and creators, Pleasure motivates every type of users. However, content creators experience a specific type of pleasure which is the pleasure of creativity or flow, which this study highlights as a key driving factor for content creators. The study adds to the findings of UCC user research which applies the TAM and the PAD model by revealing what pleasure and flow specifically mean for different types of UCC users.

Design of Dual-Band GPS Array Antenna Using In-Direct Feeding Pad (간접급전 패드를 이용한 이중 대역 GPS 배열 안테나 설계)

  • In this paper, we propose the design of a dual-band GPS antenna using in-direct feeding pads. The antenna consists of an upper patch for the GPS L1 band, a lower patch for the GPS L2 band, and two pads on the middle layer for feeding the two radiating patches. A hybrid chip coupler with a phase difference of $90^{\circ}$ is employed at the two feeding ports for achieving a broad circular polarization (CP) bandwidth. The proposed antenna shows bore-sight gains of 3.0 dBic(L1) and 5.1 dBic(L2), and axial ratios of 3.3 dB(L1) and 0.3 dB(L2) by measurement. The active element patterns of the fabricated array with 7 elements show bore-sight gains of -0.4 dBic (L1) and -2.4 dBic(L2), respectively. It proves that the proposed antenna structure is suitable for use in GPS array applications.

The Effort of Dietary Lipids on CVD Risk Factors in Ovariectomized Rats

  • This experiment was performed to investigate the effect of different dietary lipids on the risk factors of coronary vascular disease(CVD) in ovariectomized rats. female rats of Sprague-Dawley stram were divided into sham-operated(sham) and ovariectomized(ovx) groups and then each group was divided into a beef fallow group, a soy bean oil group and a fish oil group. After 16 weeks of feeding on experimental diets, animals were sacrificed and blood, liver, kidney and perirenal fat pad were obtained. Food intake and weight gain of fish oil group were significantly lower than other dietary lipid groups. food intake and weight gain tended to be higher in ovx groups than in sham groups. The weight Index(g/100g body weight) of liver and kidney was higher in the fish oil group than the other groups and weight index was lower in ovx groups compared to sham groups. The weight of the perirenal fat pad was the highest in the beef tallow group and the lowest in the fish oil group. The fish oil group showed the lowest total cholesterol(TC) and triglyceride (TG) levels in serum. Serum TG levels were lower in all ovx groups than in sham groups, but serum TC levels were not influenced by ovariectomy. fatty acid composition of serum reflects the recent dietary Intake of fat. Linoleic acid content was tile highest in soy bean oil group and eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid(DHA) contents were the highest in fish oil group. fatty acid composition of adipose tissue, especially EPA and DHA contents in perirenal fat pad, was highest in the fish oil group. Saturated fatty acid(SFA) and monounsaturated fatty acid(MUFA) in serum and adipose tissue did not reflect fatty acid intake. The activities of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, a lipogenic enzyme, in the blood of the beef tallow and soybean oil groups showed the tendency to be high and that of the fish oil group to be low in ovx. Carnitine acetyltransferase, a lipolytic enzyme, showed the highest activity in the liver of the fish oil group and was least active in the soy bean oil group.

A Study on DID Implementation for Wireless Calling System using Smart-device (스마트 기기를 이용한 무선호출용 DID구현에 대한 연구)

  • In this time, as an industrial society developed to a welfare society, more and more people want their quality of lives upgraded and specially customized service by mass production/mass consumption. And it leads to an increase of requiring service. There're active developments and studies on various IT equipment as the requirement made IT devices used in service. In this paper, we try to design and realize radio paging DID by using smart device to be used as a receiver of a radio pager which is broadly used at face to face service. Firstly, we used MCU to design and implement Wireless Calling Gateway which change radio calling signal of ISM band to smart device. A receiver of wireless caller used original receiver module. Also it used bluetooth module to communicate with smart device. It was possible to have satisfactory communication since radio paging signal converter and smart device were linked in 3M. Secondly, to indicate various paging information delivered from a radio pager, we realized DID application program by using Smart PAD. As a result, we could indicate various information compared to an original receiver which only could indicate letters or numeric data. Secondly, we implemented the DID app for wireless calls that can display a variety of information sent from a wireless pager. Was implemented using the Smart Pad. As a result, it is shown that can display a variety of information than the existing receiver.
