The present study is an analysis of the process and affects of interior design accreditation by FIDER(Foundation of Interior Design Education Research) in the United States. Due to the consequences of becoming a member of WTO(World Trade Organization), currently Architectural programs in Korea are seeking ways to set up this accreditational system. The history of interior design education has always been closely interconnected with architectural education, moreover the educational system in Korea has long been affected by that of the United States. Therefore, the author believes that it is crucial for interior design educators to understand the meanings and affects of accreditation system in order to be prepared for this globalization. This paper analyzes the accreditation system between Architectural and Interior Design programs in the United States with that of Korea. It also presents an In-depth study of FIDER accreditation process in the interior design program at Kansas State University, where the author has participated as a preparation member. Thus hope to serve as a guideline for self evaluating interior design programs in Korea.

The needs for change in the traditional on engineering education system in Korea have been evoked since 1998 when the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK) was about to be established. The engineering college at Yeungnam University has been one of the most active members in the Korean higher education institutions which participated in the ABEEK movement at the earliest stage. This paper reports the efforts made by Yeungnam University in preparing for the trial accreditation of engineering programs for the first time in Korea. The reformation and restructuring were made in many areas in order to establish the self-improving circulative engineering education system. The accreditation criteria were thoroughly investigated, and reforms were made in individual programs based on the critical assessment of existing system. The contents of educational reform and the experience during the trial accreditation process are summarized and discussed.

The defense M&S system, which has been classified as a weapon system between requirements determination and project implementation, is being developed by applying the weapon system development procedure of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration. The M&S system abstracts and models the real world to suit the intended use and proceeds with the process of developing it as a software-oriented system. Overseas, the conceptual model development stage is staged before entering the design stage after the requirements analysis. In addition, each step includes verification and validation processes. In Korea, while establishing and applying the weapon system development procedure based on the SE process, the M&S system is also applied in the same way as the general weapon system, limiting appropriate development outputs and verification and validation. In this study, the system development procedure of the M&S system is established and presented based on the relevant standards and SE process of developed countries.

This paper deals with conformity assessments requirements for accreditation and certification bodies. This study also introduces conformity guidances of product certification and code of good practice. This paper presents general requirements for accreditation, recognition and registration bodies of environmental quality system and product certification.

본 논문에서는 복잡적응계 이론에 근거하여 공학교육인증제도와 글쓰기와의 관계를 분석하고 효과적인 공학적 글쓰기 교육 방법을 연구하였다. 인증제도 도입으로 인하여 공학교육은 창발현상을 지속적으로 유지하며 새로운 질서체계를 갖추어 나가고 있는 가운데 의사소통의 중요성을 부각시키고, 다양한 공학적 글쓰기 교육 모형을 요구하고 있다. 이에 대하여 본 연구는 상황학습방법과 글쓰기 포트폴리오 도입 방법을 제안하고, 이를 통해 학생들의 글쓰기 능력향상에 변화가 있었음을 확인하였다. 이러한 논의는 공학교육에서 새로운 공학적 글쓰기 교육 방안을 모색하는 계기가 될 것이다.

Objectives: Pharmacopuncture is a new form of acupuncture treatment that injects herbal medicine into acupuncture points. This paper introduces the management status of pharmacopuncture through accreditation, and examines the effect of accreditation on pharmacopuncture management. Methods: The Accreditation System of External Herbal Dispensaries (EHDs) of traditional Korean medicine clinics announced by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in September 2018 were investigated. Results: The Accreditation System of EHDs assesses and certifies herbal medicine and pharmacopuncture preparations. Regular components for the 'pharmacopuncture' certification consist of nine standards, 30 categories, and 165 items. The nine standards include: herbal dispensary facilities, clean room management, management and organization operation, employee management, document management, continuous quality control, herbal medicine management, management of preparation, and pavement management. Conclusion: Through EHD accreditation and certification system, traditional Korean medicine clinics and EHDs can now manage pharmacopuncture medicine quality and promise safe pharmacopuncture treatment for the people.

The purpose of this study was to develop the Meta-Evaluation Criteria which can comprehensively and systematically evaluate and improve the Accreditation Evaluation System for Engineering Education. This will provide useful implications for establishing value, direction, and improvement remedy for Engineering Educations Accreditation System of Korea. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, Meta-Evaluation Criteria was developed to comprehensively and systematically assess and analyze the Accreditation Evaluation System of Engineering Education. The research methodology used to study these subjects: literature review, interviews with experts, Delphi survey (three times), survey, analysis of narrative opinion and secondary source. The results and conclusions of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the final Meta-Evaluation Criteria were developed so as to comprehensively and systematically assess and analyze the Accreditation Evaluation System of Engineering Education. The criteria's validity and reliability were also identified. Specific details are as follows: In a draft plan of the Meta-Evaluation Criteria, Meta-Evaluation concept was defined as evaluation on the whole range of Accreditation Evaluation System of Engineering Education. Meta-Evaluation Criteria was designed to be based on a systematic approach and applies the phased approach to the lower component to reflect evaluation's characteristics. Then validity and reliability of the developed draft plan was verified by calculating Content Validity Ratio (CVR), Degree of Consensus, Degree of Convergence and Cronbach's alpha. The final developed Meta-Evaluation Criteria obtaining validity and reliability were composed of 5 evaluation areas (environment, input, performance, result, utilization), 15 evaluation items, 68 evaluation indicators.

The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Act in Japan was proclaimed on December 1, 2004, and five years have passed since the act took effect on April 1, 2007. The ADR Act enables qualified dispute resolution businesses to be certified as ADR business holders through the government's accreditation system, contributing greatly to the advancement of a private ADR. As of June 2012, the number of ADR institutes certified by the government had increased to 112. Article 2 of the supplementary provisions of Japan's ADR Act provides as follows: "The government should review the progress of the Act five years after enforcement, and take measures, if recognized as necessary, based on the results." Any problems revealed in the process of implementing the act are expected to be revised after five years of enforcement. To this end, the academic circle established an association called the Arbitration ADR Act Society in 2004, considering issues of the ADR Act and measures to improve the legislation, making policy suggestions, and working to improve management of the act, through seminars, forums, and a journal. The Japanese ADR Association, composed of ADR institutions as members, put forward a proposal entitled "Toward the Revision of the ADR Act" to the Ministry of Justice on April 2, 2012. This paper intends to identify the current state of the accreditation system, one of the most important systems under the ADR Act in Japan, in consideration of ADR Act revision. In particular, the examination includes measures to improve the accreditation system as well as data analysis of the application of accreditation, the current state of accredited institutions, and the ADR performance of accredited ADR businesses. In Korea, an ADR act has not been legislated yet, although the issue is being actively considered. This paper will be a meaningful reference for the Korean government in developing an accreditation system for inclusion in its ADR act in the future.

본 연구는 공공형 어린이집 이용자인 부모의 공공형 어린이집에 대한 내용 인식이 어느 정도인지 파악하여 그 결과를 바탕으로 추후 공공형 어린이집 이용 활성화와 공공형 어린이집의 제도 개선 및 역할증대를 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 공공형 어린이집 공인 인증제도에 대한 부모의 의견과 인식에 대해 조사하였다. 연구대상은 K도에 위치한 민간 어린이집 유형의 공공형 어린이집 7개소 부모 202명이다. 조사방법은 공공형 어린이집 인증제도에 대한 내용을 설문지로 구성하여 배부하였다. 결과는 첫째, 공공형 어린이집 공인 인증제도의 필요성에 대한 인식은 높게 나타났다. 또한 공공형 어린이집 공인 인증제도가 필요한 측면에 대해서는 어린이집 수준의 상향화, 수준 높은 보육내용의 제공부분에 대해 다수가 인식한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어린이집 공인 인증시설이라는 것이 어린이집 선택 시 영향을 주는 것으로 나타냈다. 셋째, 공공형 어린이집 공인 인증제도에 대한 인식부분에서는 '보통이다'라는 답변이 높게 나타났고, 그 다음으로 '알고 있다'라는 답변의 순서로 나타났다. 본 연구는 향후 부모들의 공공형 어린이집에 대한 이해를 높이고 이용활성화 및 제도 개선을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다.

4년제 공과대학과 전문대학 등의 고등교육기관에서 이루어지는 교육과정과 자격 검정제도를 연계하려는 여러 선행 연구들이 진행되어 왔지만 실제적으로 실행되는 경우는 매우 드문 실정이다. 교육과 자격의 가장 이상적인 연계 방법은 교육과정과 자격검정의 통합 운영이라고 볼 수 있지만 교육기관에 대한 검증과 자격제도에서 갖추어야 할 제반 요소들이 선행되어야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 현재 시행되고 있는 과정평가형 자격제도와 교육과정의 질관리 체계로 작동하고 있는 공학교육인증 평가를 비교 분석하고, 공학교육인증과 과정평가형 자격을 동시에 운영하고 있는 K 대학의 사례를 통해 교육과 자격이 연계될 수 있음을 검토한다. 이러한 분석 결과를 반영하여 공학교육인증을 획득한 프로그램이 과정평가형 편성 기준을 만족하는 교육과정을 운영할 경우 이를 이수한 학생들에게 자격을 부여할 수 있는 인증평가형 자격제도를 제안한다.
