  • According to International Association of Classification Societies (IACS) Unified Requirement (UR) E26, ships contracted for construction after July 1, 2024 should be designed, constructed, commissioned and operated taking into account of cyber security. In particular, ship network monitoring tools should be installed in accordance with requirement 4.3.1 in IACS UR E26. In this paper, we propose a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) security policy model for ships as an effective threat detection method by analyzing the cyber security regulations and ship network status in the maritime domain. For this purpose, we derived the items managed in the SIEM from the maritime cyber security regulations such as those of International Maritime Organization (IMO) and IACS, and defined 14 detection policies considering the status of the ship network. We also presents the detection policy for non-expert crews to understand it, and occurrence conditions depending on the ship's network environment to minimize indiscriminate alarms. We expect that the results of this study will help improve the efficiency of ship SIEM to be installed in the future.

  • Kinship is a permanent relationship which is likely to impact the regulations adopted by the legislator to deal with crimes involving close relatives. Accordingly, the title "Impact of Kinship on a Criminal Case" is intended to highlight the legal provisions related kinship, regarding such case, and the procedures associated therewith; as the legislator takes kinship into account, particularly with respect to the procedures related to crimes between relatives; and it is the legislator's aim to protect such relation.

  • The purpose of this study was to add CPTED to the information security area. The control items of ISO 27001 (11 types) and the application principles of CPTED (6 types) were mapped. And the relevance between the items was verified through the FGI meeting through 12 security experts. As a result of the survey, the control items with a relevance of at least 60% on average are security policy, physical and environmental security, accident management, and conformity. As a result, the comprehensive policy was shared with CPTED's items as a whole. The specialized control items are security organization, asset management, personnel security, operation management, access control, system maintenance, and continuity management. However, specialized control items were mapped with each item of CPTED. Therefore, information security certification and septed are related. As a result, environmental security can be added to the three major areas of security: administrative security, technical security, and physical security.

  • In this paper, a secure system is studied and designed for omenetworking middleware based on sensor network security algorithm. Many sensor networks have mission-critical tasks, so it is clear that security needs to be taken into account at design procedure. First, We study homenetworking middleware model in Jini. And we design a security system is applied by SPINS algorithm for moddleware model. Then we firgure out proper secrecy, authentication, broadcast authentication mechanisms in this model.

  • In this paper, we propose that the security-constrined optimal power flow (SCOPF) be solved in a decentralized framework, consisting of regions, using a price-based mechanism. We first solve the distributed OPF problem to determine the maximum secure simultaneous transfer capability of each tie-line between adjacent regions by taking only the security constraints imposed on the tie-lines into account. And then, the regional SCOPF is performed using the conventional LP approach. A description on the inclusion of security constraints with distributed OPF algorithm will be given, followed by a case study for Korea power system.
