XML을 이용한 관계DB의 웹출판에 관한 사례 (A Case Study on the Web Publishing of Relational DB Via XML)

  • HTML revolutionized the way we specify the appearance of data on the Internet. Today, XML (the eXtensible Markup Language) is changing the way we specify the meaning of data. XML, lets document authors define their own markup tags and attribute names to assign meaning to the data elements in the document. Further, XML elements can be nested and include references to indicate data relationships, as Listing One. Unlike HTML, XML markup tags do not describe how to render the data. Rather, they provide descriptions of data, allowing software to understand the meaning of the data automatically For publishing, instead, XSL, the eXtensible Stylesheet Language as a separate language , is in charge of specifying the presentation of XML documents. The purpose of this study is to discover how to transform your organizations relational data into potential e-commerce, business-to-business, and web application with XML and XSL documents. For this purpose, the literature survey, first of all, was undertaken to understand the basic structures of XML documents. Second, one case implementation was performed to understand how to transform Access 2002 XML Files into HTML with XSLTand VB script. The results come out to be successful, more or less. But the limitations of it still exist. One immediate limitation is that XML documents are essentially tree structure, as dictated by the nesting of elements. However, relational database tables are two dimensional matrix structure. In addition, real-world data often is graph structured-a single data element may be referenced in multiple ways. However, this study is useful for understanding how to convert relational database into XML documents and to publish them using XSL or VB script.

Implementation of Spectrum-Sensing for Cognitive Radio Using USRP with GNU Radio and a Cloud Server

  • In cognitive radio (CR), spectrum sensing is an essential function since secondary users (SUs) must determine whether the primary user (PU) is utilizing the channel or not, and furthermore, SUs opportunistically access the licensed channel when the PU is absent. In this paper, spectrum sensing is implemented by energy detection, and a software-defined radio testbed is built to evaluate sensing performance by energy detection in a real environment. In particular, the testbed was built based on the GNU's Not Unix (GNU) Radio software platform and Universal Software Radio Peripheral National Instruments 2900 devices. More specifically, a new block of energy detection is developed by using an out-of-tree module from GNU Radio. To successfully integrate CR into the cloud computing paradigm, we also implement cloud computing-based spectrum sensing by utilizing a cloud server with ThingSpeak, such that we can store, process, and share the sensing information more efficiently in a centralized way in the cloud server.

  • X.500 디렉토리는 ISO(International Standards Organization)에서 제정한 컴퓨터 네트워크 모델인 OSI(Open Systems Interconnection) 참조 모델 7계층의 응용계층에 속하는 프로토콜로써, 정보통신 서비스에 필요한 정보를 데이터 베이스화하여 효율적 으로 관리하고, 사용자가 편리하게 접근할 수 있는 기능을 제공하는 서비스다. 관광 정보는 여러 위치들로 분산되어 있으며, 분산된 엑세스는 X.500 디렉토리 서비스와 유사하므로 본 논문에서는 X.500 디렉토리 서비스를 이용하여 관광 정보 시스템과 디렉토리 스키마를 설계하였다. 관광 정보 엔트리를 정의한 후, 관광 정보인 산, 바 다, 薇같鉉 호텔 등의 새로운 객체 클래스와 지역적인 정보를 서비스하기 위한 디렉 토리 정보 트리를 제안하였으며, test-bed를 구성하여 설계한다. 디렉토리 스키마를 검증하였다.

Vascular Plants of Hyangro-bong in Gangwon-do, Korea

  • Hyangro-bong is located on the northern side of the civilian access control line and therefore has gone through natural ecological succession without human interference. Currently, it forms a distinctive natural ecosystem in which rare wild animals and plants are various. It is located in the Baekdudaegan mountain system and plays an ecologically important role as a bridge that connects the Geumgang mountain and Seorak mountain. This study investigated the flora of the eastern parts, Forest Genetic Resources Reserve Area, of Hyangro-bong. A total of 363 vascular plants that belonged to 77 families, 206 genera, 310 species, 3 subspecies, and 47 varieties were found in the study area. Rare and endangered plants identified in this study included the critically endangered Swertia wilfordii and endangered Irisuniflora var. caricina. Furthermore, 4 vulnerable species, Hanabusaya asiatica, Codonopsis pilosula, Leontopodium japonicum, and Taxus cuspidata, were found. A total of 7 families and 14 taxa including Aconitum pseudolaeve and Clematis fusca var. coreana were confirmed as endemic plants. Naturalized plants belonging to 4 families, 11 genera, and 13 species were distributed along the Hyangro-bong forest roads.

Construction of Retrieval-Based Medical Database

  • In the current field of Medical Informatics, the information increases, and changes fast, so we can access the various data types which are ranged from text to image type. A small number of technician digitizes these data to establish database, but it is needed a lot of money and time. Therefore digitization by many end-users confronting data and establishment of searching database is needed to manage increasing information effectively. New data and information are taken fast to provide the quality of care, diagnosis which is the basic work in the medicine. And also It is needed the medical database for purpose of private study and novice education, which is tool to make various data become knowledge. However, current medical database is used and developed only for the purpose of hospital work management. In this study, using text input, file import and object images are digitized to establish database by people who are worked at the medicine field but can not expertise to program. Data are hierarchically constructed and then knowledge is established using a tree type database establishment method. Consequently, we can get data fast and exactly through search, apply it to study as subject-oriented classification, apply it to diagnosis as time-depended reflection of data, and apply it to education and precaution through function of publishing questions and reusability of data.

무선 센서 네트워크에서 에너지 효율성을 고려한 시간 동기 알고리즘 (EETS : Energy- Efficient Time Synchronization for Wireless Sensor Networks)

  • Recent advances in wireless networks and low-cost, low-power design have led to active research in large-scale networks of small, wireless, low power sensors and actuators, In large-scale networks, lots of timing-synchronization protocols already exist (such as NTP, GPS), In ad-hoc networks, especially wireless sensor networks, it is hard to synchronize all nodes in networks because it has no infrastructure. In addition, sensor nodes have low-power CPU (it cannot perform the complex computation), low batteries, and even they have to have active and inactive section by periods. Therefore, new approach to time synchronization is needed for wireless sensor networks, In this paper, I propose Energy-Efficient Time Synchronization (EETS) protocol providing network-wide time synchronization in wireless sensor networks, The algorithm is organized two phase, In first phase, I make a hierarchical tree with sensor nodes by broadcasting "Level Discovery" packet. In second phase, I synchronize them by exchanging time stamp packets, And I also consider send time, access time and propagation time. I have shown the performance of EETS comparing Timing-sync Protocol for Sensor Networks (TPSN) and Reference Broadcast Synchronization (RBS) about energy efficiency and time synchronization accuracy using NESLsim.

Production, Assessment and Marketing of Lichens for Economic Upliftment and Livelihood Generation of Rural Communities in Kumaun Himalaya

  • Collection of lichen together with tree twigs of oak and other trees bearing abundant growth of lichens is a common practice among the villagers and the rivals residing near Oak forests in Kumaun Himalaya. Nainital forest division represents about Twenty nine percent vegetation of the Oak forest in Kumaun Himalaya. In Kumaun, the lichen trade share is decreasing at an alarming rate of 21.93% which requires immediate actions by the Government. Lichen contributed significantly to household earnings with off-farm activities and this sector was found second highest income creator after Agriculture. It is a source of cash income during the season of extraction, which increases economic access to food. It has been observed in the present study that the secondary collector and transporters together get maximum share (>50%) of income generated from lichen, thus economic exploitation of the poorly educated people by the traders was still prevalent in the area. To improve the socio-economic standard of the people of Kumaun, it may is necessary to increase and improve the lichens resources of the area. There is a strong need for scientific management, best harvesting practices and strict monitoring of resources. The present study was conducted to assess the present and future resource potential for the conservation and sustainable management of lichens, existing market mechanism, role of Lichens in economic upliftment and livelihood generation of rural communities in Kumaun Himalaya.

비밀조각의 재사용이 가능한 권한 위임 비밀분산법의 설계 (Design of a Reusable Secret Sharing Scheme in a Hierarchical Group)

  • 비밀분산법이란 하나의 비밀정보(Secret)를 분산시켜 다수의 참가자에게 공유시키고, 필요시 허가된 참가자 부분집합만이 비밀정보를 복원할 수 있는 암호 프로토콜이다 비밀정보 복원을 위한 다양한 접근구조를 반영하는 비밀분산법이 제안되었는데, 본 논문에서는 계층구조에 적용 가능하고 재사용이 가능한 새로운 비밀분산법을 제안한다. 즉. 참가자들은 계층구조의 상위 레벨부터 비밀정보 복원에 대한 우선권을 갖고, 상위 레벨에 속하는 참가자들이 부재 시에는 하위 레벨에 속하는 참가자들은 위임티켓 (delegation ticket)을 전송하여 비밀정보의 복원 권한을 위임할 수 있다 또한, 각 참가자는 초기에 생성한 하나의 비밀조각으로 서로 다른 비밀정보를 복원하는데 참석할 수 있도록 함으로써, 계층그룹에서 비밀 조각의 재사용이 가능하도록 한다.

중첩 NEMO 환경에서 트리 기반 라우트 최적화 기법 (Tree based Route Optimization in Nested NEMO Environment)

  • 이 논문은 인터넷으로 중첩 NEMO 네트워크가 연결될 때 최적화가 요구되는 두 가지 연결성을 고려하고 있다. 하나는 인터넷과 중첩 NEMO 네트워크 사이의 연결이고, 다른 하나는 중첩 NEMO 네트워크 내부의 MR간의 연결성이다. 이러한 연결성은 IPv6에 기반하고 있으며, 중첩 NEMO 네트워크는 NEMO를 인식하는 AR(Access Router)에 의해 구성될 수 있다. 특히 이 논문은 중첩 NEMO의 토폴로지 특성을 나타내는 트리 기반한 토폴로지 정보를 포함하고, 트리 구조를 가지는 주소 체계를 제안한다. 이 제안은 기존에 대표적인 RO(Route Optimization) 제안들과 비교할 때, MR 홈 네트워크로의 BU(Binding Update) 성능은 가장 효율적인 접근과 비슷하였고, 내부라우팅 효율은 가장 효율적으로 나타났다.

  • 효율적인 데이터베이스 마케팅을 위하여 고객들을 세분화하고, 새로운 지식을 탐색할 수 있는 데이터마이닝의 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 데이터마이닝 도구를 구축하기 위해서는 단계별 구현이 요구되어 지는데, 본 연구에서는 데이터마이닝을 위한 분산 환경에 적응 가능한 데이터 전처리 도구를 구성하였다. 기존의 데이터마이닝 도구인 앤서 트리, 클레멘타인, 엔터프라이즈 마이너, 캔싱턴, 웨카의 전처리 부분을 고찰하고, 분산 환경에서 효율적으로 사용할 수 있는 데이터 마이닝 전처리 도구를 구성하였다. 새로이 제안된 시스템은 엔터프라이즈 자바 빈즈와 XML을 기반으로 하였다.
