Objective : To investigate the potential risk of approach-related complications at different access angles in minimally invasive lateral lumbar interbody fusion. Methods : Eighty-six axial magnetic resonance images were obtained to analyze the risk of approach-related complications. The access corridor were simulated at different access angles and the potential risk of neurovascular structure injury was evaluated when the access corridor touching or overlapping the corresponding structures at each angle. Furthermore, the safe corridor length was measured when the corridor width was 18 and 22 mm. Results : When access angle was $0^{\circ}$, the potential risk of ipsilateral nerve roots injury was 54.7% at L4-L5. When access angle was $45^{\circ}$, the potential risk of abdominal aorta, contralateral nerve roots or central canal injury at L4-L5 was 79.1%, 74.4%, and 30.2%, respectively. The length of the 18 mm-wide access corridor was largest at $0^{\circ}$ and it could reach 44.5 mm at L3-L4 and 46.4 mm at L4-L5. While the length of the 22 mm-wide access corridor was 42.3 mm at L3-L4 and 44.1 mm at L4-L5 at $0^{\circ}$. Conclusion : Changes in the access angle would not only affect the ipsilateral neurovascular structures, but also might adversely influence the contralateral neural elements. It should be also noted to surgeons that alteration of the access angle changed the corridor length.

Fractal/angle multiplexing is a $LiNBO_3$ crystal using a X-Y Galvano mirror, and the random access concept in fractal/angle multiplexing are discussed in this paper. First, the brief introduction of the designed holographic digital data storage system is presented. Then, the average access time concept for the storage system is newly defined, and the comparison of the average access time between the holographic storage and a conventional optical disk is performed. Second, the basic simulation and experiment to find the X-Y Galvano mirror dynamics are conducted. From this analysis, we find that the average access time in our HDDS which has 6 degree scan angle is about 5 msec. This result is very high performance when it compared with the average access time of a conventional optical disk. Finally, some recording results using fractal/angle multiplexing are presented, then, the relationship between bit error rate and angle mismatch for the each multiplexing are discussed.
This study classified visual perception types of access space at 17 five-star hotels in Jejudo and examined their cognitive characteristics and image formation structures in an effort to provide basic information important for designing the elevation and the access spaces of a hotel. The results of this study are as follows. Access space image of experimental hotels showed more negative evaluations at both city hotels and resort hotels, viewing angle (upward angle) was also positively evaluated between $10^{\circ}{\sim}12^{\circ}$ and $18^{\circ}$ and central type in arrangement type and detour access and straight access types in access circulation type were positively evaluated. When viewed from an upward angle of $10^{\circ}$ to $12^{\circ}$, the most important factors were as plasticity, decorativeness, and creativity; from $18^{\circ}$ it was such factors as harmony and peculiarity; and at $45^{\circ}$ it was factors like decorativeness and stability. In considering the various access types, the most important factors in a straight access type were peculiarity and harmony; for one-time curved access type it was by decorativeness, creativity, Peculiarity, and stability; and for detour access types it was decorativeness, stability, and peculiarity. Influential of factors affecting image formation and plasticity and harmony factors and the form had more influences on image formation.
320 cephalometric roentgenograms of 25 boys and 15 girls which was longitudinally taken from the age 6.5 to 13.5 have been analyzed to access the angular growth changes of the mandible. The statistical analysis of the results allowed the following conclusions.
1. Gonial angle was reduced with ageing.
2. Chin angle was reduced with ageing.
3. Occlusal plane to mandibular plane angle was relatively stable.
4. Lower incisor to occlusal plane angle was reduced and showed the greatest variability.
Lifting capacity and difficulty of task are influenced by body posture. In RULA and REBA, the body was divided into segments which formed two groups, A and B. Group A includes the upper and lower arm and wrist while group B includes the neck, trunk and legs. This ensures that whole body posture is recorded so that any awkward or constrained posture of the legs, trunk or neck which might influence the posture of the upper limb. This study aimed to measure MVC (maximum voluntary contraction) and subjective judgment in psychophysical method (Borg's scale) according to trunk and upper arm angle and to analyze results statistically. The results of this study were that lifting capacity was more influenced by interaction of body posture rather than angles of each part, and MVC variation according to trunk and upper arms angles should different patterns. This means that we consider the interaction of trunk angles and upper arm angles when we access risk factors of the postures. This survey would be also the basic data to evaluate difficulty of lifting tasks according to body postures ergonomically.

This paper present a transient experiment to verify the performance of limited angle torque motor(LATM) designed using electromagnetic transient analysis. LATM requires access to the transitional state to the torque performance evaluation. Because LATM moves the rotor using a magnetic torque generated by the interaction of the permanent magnet and the armature winding. A separate control is not applied, it is switched on at the same time under the conditions that the current applied to the armature winding. It was compared to the transient analysis of the experimental data of LATM for the verification of approach method in the transitional state.

The purpose of this paper is real time tilt servo control of the holographic data storage system. Holographic data storage device is a next generation data storage device with high storage density, high transfer rate and short access time. This device is very sensitive to a disturbance due to the enormous storage density. As to the recording material changed disc type, the media continuously vibrates as the disc rotates. When disc rotates, deviation, eccentricity and unbalance disturbance are occurred. This disturbances cause disc tilt, finally reference beam does not illuminates to correct incidence angle. Therefore real time tilt servo control is essential. In this paper, the algorithm is proposed to make real time tilt detection in angle multiplexing of the holographic data storage system with an additional servo beam and the experiments are performed.

Hybrid beamformer composed of Direction-of-Arrival (DOA) based scheme followed by Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) is proposed to overcome the degradation due to inaccurate channel estimation caused by insufficient pilot power, which happens in conventional Single-Input Multiple-Output (SIMO) Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) reverse link. The proposed scheme could provide more accurate channel estimation and interference reduction at the expense of diversity gam in the spatially correlated SIMO channel. As a result, hybrid scheme outperforms conventional MRC beamformer for six or more antennas in the channel environment, in which Angle-of-Spread (AOS) is within 30$^{\circ}$.

Welded Unreinforced Flange-Welded Web (WUF-W) connection is one of Special Moment Frame (SMF) specified in ANSI/AISC-358. From the experimental test of WUF-W connection specimens conducted by the previous study, fracture occurred in the beam flange before achieving total inter-story drift angle of 0.04radian required for Special Moment Frames (SMF) system even though the specimens satisfied the design and detailing requirement specified in ANSI/AISC-358. These results are estimated as problem of the access hole geometry. In this study, a full-scale WUF-W connection specimen was made with a modified access hole geometry, and tested with the same test setting and loading as the previous test. From test results, the deformation capacity of the tested WUF-W connection specimen exceeded 4%, which is required for connections in SMF system. Comparing with the WUF-W specimens of the previous study, the strain demand of the beam flange in the tested specimen was decreased and energy dissipation capacity of the specimen was improved.

Typically, a wedge is involved to generate effectively high inspection angle in pipe weld inspection using phased array ultrasonic technique. But the usage of this wedge for weld or access limited area can cause coverage limitation for the examination volume because of the wedge front length. Therefore, the shear wave phased array probe which can generate high inspection angle without wedge is essentially necessary. In this paper, the shear wave phased array ultrasonic probe which can generate high inspection angle designed by modeling and manufactured from the modelling result. And this shear wave probe tested whether it can detect and sizing for EDM test block that contains various depth. As results, the experimental results show that the designed shear wave phased array probe can detect and size with reliable accuracy. Therefore if this phased array probe apply in field inspection, it is expected that it show more reliable inspection result for plant structure having access limitation.
