Economic Reliability test plans(ERTP) are proposed considering that the life time of the submitted items follow the Pareto distribution of the second kind. For various specified acceptance number, sample size and producer's risk, a minimum test termination time is obtained. A comparison of proposed plan has been made with the existing plan developed by Aslam et al. (2010). The results are explained by tables and example.

The objective of this study is to explore the effects of e-teaming users' self-efficacy and perceived service quality for e-teaming staffs such as instructors or teaching assistants on two main perceptions for e-learning systems in a view of information technology - perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness which have been considered as important antecedents for acceptance of information technology so called in Technology Acceptance Model. For this purpose, we suggest a research model and test it empirically by sampling in students of virtual universities. In result, all hypotheses except the relationship between academic self-efficacy and perceived usefulness are accepted. This result implies that self-efficacy for computers and service quality for staffs such as instructors or teaching assistants should be considered as important ones for success of e-learning systems in addition to those related with information technology.

In this paper accelerated life testing is incorporated in quality control technique of acceptance sampling plan to induce early failures in high reliability products.Stress under accelerated condition can be applied in constant-stress, step-stress and progressive-stress or combination of such loadings. A ramp-stress results when stress is increased linearly (from zero) with time. In this paper optimum failure-censored ramp-stress accelerated life test sampling plan for log-logistic distribution has been formulated with cost considerations. The log-logistic distribution has been found appropriate for insulating materials. The optimal plans consist in finding optimum sample size, sample proportion allocated to each stress, and stress rate factor such that producer's and consumer's interests are safeguarded. Variance optimality criterion is used when expected cost per lot is not taken into consideration, and bilevel programming approach is used in cost optimization problems. The methods developed have been illustrated using some numerical examples, and sensitivity analyses carried out in the context of ramp-stress ALTSP based on variable SSP for proportion nonconforming.

On designing the rectifying inspection plans of double sampling, the relations of the sample sizes $n_1$, $n_2$ and the acceptance numbers $c_1$, $c_2$ are obtained by using the Chi-square distribution. As the average number of pieces inspected per lot is a function of $c_1$ and $c_2$, the optimal solution is the values of $c_1^*$ and $c_2^*$ for which the average amount of inspection is a minimum. Then the values of $n_1^*$ and $n_2^*$ are easily obtained from the equations given by ($n_1$, $n_2$) and ($c_1$, $c_2$).

This paper presents various interval estimation methods of binomial proportion for small n in multi-product small volume production and extremely small ^P like PPM or PPB fraction of defectives. This study classifies interval estimation of binomial proportion into three categories such as exact, approximate, Bayesian methods. These confidence intervals proposed in this paper can be applied to attribute process capability and attribute acceptance sampling plan for PPM or PPB.

This paper intends to decide the optimum OC curves and to find the minimized ${\alpha},{\beta}$-risk based upon the Linear Cost Model (L. C. M.) for the destructive or nondestructive acceptance sampling inspection plan. For the solution from the L. C. M., the author used the prior-distribution on some assumptions.

수명시험에서는 시험기간을 단축하기 위해 중도절단(consoring) 방법을 사용한다. 혼합 관측중단방법은 정시에 시험을 끝낼 수 있으며 고장시간을 관찰할 필요가 없다는 장점 때문에 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 제품의 수명이 와이블 분포를 따르고 형상모수를 알고 있다는 가정아래, 혼합 관측중단하에서 생산자 위험과 소비자 위험을 고려한 신뢰도 합격판정 샘플링 계획을 개발하였다. 아울러, 형상모수값에 개재된 불확실성이 실제 생산자 위험과 소비자 위험, 그리고 의사결정까지의 평균 고장개수에 미치는 영향을 민감도 분석을 통해 파악하였다.

A model for the economic design of an pn control charts with an assignale cause is presented and the loss-cost function for control schemes using these charts is derived. By minimizing this function with respect to the three control variables, namely, the sample size, the sampling interval and acceptance number, the economically optimal control plan can be optained. The article shows what influence increasing or decreasing condition, according to changeability of the size of these factors, of expected cost can have on the economy when an attribute control chart is used.

This paper presents the log likelihood function for integrated models for ALT such as exponential-general Eyring, Weibull-temperature and specific heat, lognormal-temperature and specific heat. Additionally this paper estimates the system reliability and mean time to failure(MTTF) for series, parallel, k of n, and standby system using ALT linkage parameter. Lastly this study designs three variable reliability acceptance sampling(RAS) plans such as type I, II censored test, sequential test by the use of integrated models for ALT.
