Educational interest has been paid to ADHD students. Because of being easily distracted, lacking concentration, and committing hyperactive acts, they lag much behind other students in academic grades and their teachers have many difficulties in teaching them. This study aims to provide a case of enhancing an ADHD student's fraction-related achievement. To do this, we investigated his mathematical abilities in a preliminary study, devised an individualized teaching for the fractions unit, and applied them to him. And analyzing the results from observations and interviews of the student we can induce the following results: First, the ADHD student showed such types of errors in relation to fraction as lack of the concept of dividing into equal parts, lack of the concept of numerator and denominator, and errors in adding or subtracting fractions anc mixed fractions whose denominators were the same. And secondly, the fraction-related achievements of the ADHD student have improved thanks to the systematic teaching plan based on the accurate understanding of his academic gap relative to other students, his learning attitude, and his time difference. In addition, this study suggests several implications for ADHD students' learning of fractions.
This study examined the relationship between homeroom teachers' transformational leadership, high school students' satisfaction in school life, and learning motivation. The researchers selected boys and girls' general high school as the target population and gathered survey data. The number of participants was 606; these were students from first and second grades. Questionnaires on teachers' transformational leadership, students' learning motivation, and satisfaction in school life were measured. T-tests showed the following: As a result of the analysis of the difference of transformational leadership, the average of the teachers with careers spanning over 15 years was statistically significantly higher than those whose career spanned over less than 5 years. The group which perceived the transformational leadership of the homeroom teacher as high showed higher motivation scores than the group with lower perception. The means were statistically significant in all the sub-variables. In school - life satisfaction, the average of the former group which perceived the transformative leadership of the homeroom teacher as high was significantly higher than that of the other group.

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the factors affecting nursing students' attitudes toward nurse-physician collaboration. Methods: The subjects were 200 nursing students from a college in K city, and the participants were recruited by posting a recruitment announcement. Data were collected from June 26 to 29, 2018 and analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Sheff? test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Attitudes toward nurse-physician collaboration showed a statistically significant difference according to grade, the reflection of opinion within the family, and the number of the counselor in general characteristics. Assertiveness and attitudes toward nurse-physician collaboration showed weak positive correlation (r=.18, p=.011). In hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the most affecting factor was junior grade (${\beta}=.25$), followed by positive assertiveness (${\beta}=.18$) and the number of the counselor (${\beta}=.14$). These variables explained 12.0% of the total variance in attitudes towards nurse-physician collaboration. Conclusion: To create positive attitudes toward collaboration between nurses and physicians in nursing students, various educational programs related to assertiveness on communication skills need to be provided from the lower grades. Also, a multidisciplinary simulation program should be developed and applied to be able to experience the situation of nurses and physicians.

In the knowledge-based society, a nation's national power depends on IT industry. Also, literacy and application of IT technology can make a person live in comfortable circumstances. Currently, a few outstanding people lead entire IT industry and academy. In this sense, it is necessary to identify and nurture the gifted children in IT as early as we can. The purpose of this paper is to investigate gender difference of the gifted students in IT. Especially we are interested in their grade difference so that we select programming ability and logical thinking ability as academic performance evaluation. For this purpose, the gifted children in gifted science education center attached to a university at Seoul Metropolitan Area are selected. Their grades for 8 years were collected and analyzed. The analysis results show that there is no significant difference between male students and female students for programming ability and logical thinking ability. This also means that there is no academic difference between male and female students for the gifted children in IT.
The purpose of this study was to develop learning materials for the remedial curriculum, part of the 7th sequential differentiated math curricula, in an effort to fix the academic deficiencies of underachieving students, provide motivation to them and enhance their self-directed learning capabilities. The subjects in this study were the students in their second year of C middle school, who were in want of remedial education. After their mid-term and finals grades in the first semester of 2003 were analyzed to measure their academic deficiencies, remedial learning materials about math 8-A stage were developed, by modifying the textbook and existing materials, in consideration of 7-A stage. After they were utilized in remedial class, frequency analysis was conducted to find out what the students thought of the developed learning materials, and diagnosis evaluation was implemented to find out how many students passed the test, improve the materials, and suggest in which way their achievement could get better.
This study would suggest to analyze the perceptions of good mathematics teaching in high school and offer the resolutions for the conflicts caused by differences in perception between teachers and students in math class through previous studies and comparative implications. To this end, Students are classified by their courses, grades, gender awarenesses and they were analyzed and compared by the survey results. Although the preference for the math class that fixs the misconception of students is highest, regardless of the kinds of students groups. Academic students, middle-ranked students, female students have high affinity for the class to evaluate the material covered in class and take into account their level of assessment and instruction, low-ranked student's preference is higher for the class that has focused on understanding communicating their thinking processes than students. From this, it is suggested that academic students, low-ranked students are needed to be taught in a way that increases their confidence, interests, values and also in atmosphere that make math class a positive experience.
The purpose of this study was to set up the basic model to monitor the health status of the middle and high school students in the adolescent period, as well as to provide the fundamental data which might serve as the new standards for their better health maintenance and promotion. The collected data comprised the characteristics of the subjects in the three different fields of life such as school, family and everyday, which could affect their physical fatigues, and they were analyzed to determine the factors of significant influence upon their physical fatigues and to reveal their relativity. A total of 5,954 students at 6 boys' and girls' middle and high schools in Taejon City completed self-administered questionnaires(to measure Health Practice Index and others) asking about each of three life domains during the period March through June, 2000. The key study results were as follows; 1. The middle school students showed more subjective symptoms of fatigue which may be a marker reflecting physical health status, than the high school students. The higher scores were associated, based on school life, with the groups who were boys, who were in lower school grades, who achieved better academic performances and had better relationship with friends. 2. As for family life, the higher scores were in the groups whose financial conditions were better, whose parents showed more interest to their children, whose sense of satisfaction with family life was higher, and whose health status was better. 3. As for life styles, the individuals showed the higher scores in the groups who had breakfasts daily, who didn't have inter-meal snacks, who took regular exercises, who didn't smoke and drink than, their counterparts. 4. The higher level of fatigue was associated with the groups whose health conditions were good, who are satisfied with school life, who were boys rather than girls, who are satisfied with family life, who didn't have inter-meal snacks, who were in good relationship with friends, who achieved greater academic performances, who took regular exercises, who didn't smoke, and whose parents showed more interest in their children.
The purpose of this study is to explore university entrance system with particular regard to the interview system of some leading universities. In order to accomplish this end, I sketched university entrance system as a whole, applying procedures and entrance requirements, selecting criteria, and explore interview systems of leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL and Imperial College. The university entrance system in the UK is closely related to the educational achievements at secondary schools and sixth form colleges. Admissions tutors look at applicant's academic ability and potential through various entrance requirements. Leading universities such as Oxbridge stress performance at interview with excellent examination grades, due to competition for places is strong. Admissions tutors are looking for the students who are best suited to the unique university education in general and the course applied for. The university entrance system in the UK would be shed light on Korea university entrance system in terms of basic principles and interviews as a whole and of addressing the academic ability and potential to flourish at the university.
