  • This study is a trend analysis study that discusses the current status and directions of research methods of KAP research. The existing trend ana lysis studies dealing with research methods have problems in that the classification criteria of the studies used are rough and different from each other, rendering comparison between studies being difficult, and do not comprehensively cover research methods of diversified KAP research. Therefore, this study examined the research methods of KAP research from a critical point of view and suggested a set of classification criteria and an analysis framework that can be used consistently in classification and analysis of future KAP research methods. Based on the theoretical background of second language studies and applied linguistics, this study revised and supplemented Brown (2015)'s research method types and selected 289 journals and theses/dissertations from 2012 to 2016 and classified them into a new analysis framework. The primary and secondary studies, which are the major categories, were 219 and 70, respectively, so it was confirmed that there were much more primary studies. The primary studies then were subdivided into 128 qualitative research studies, 142 survey research studies, and 23 quantitative research studies, pointing to the trend that survey and qualitative research methods were preferred. In the qualitative research approaches, there were 21 action research studies, which were used the most. In addition, such qualitative research approaches as case studies and narrative inquiries which were difficult to find in the past, have gradually increased, confirming that the diversification of research methods is becoming common. However, there were still many studies that did not explicitly put forward research questions and there were many studies that did not report reliability and effect sizes in quantitative research. Of the 23 quantitative studies, only 50% reported reliability, and only three reported effect sizes. In order to enable systematic reviews (meta-analysis) of quantitative research and expect quality improvement of research in future KAP research, reporting of quantitative research should be done more systematically. This study is meaningful in that a systematic and detailed analysis framework was proposed to classify various research methods in the future and that the problems and directions for improvement of the KAP research methods were discussed through the analysis of the research trend of the KAP studies for the last 5 years.

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct more practical subsequent research by identifying research areas through a systematic analysis of sustainable fashion design research trends. For this study, 117 journals domestic journals published between 2010 and 2020 were selected using the keyword, 'sustainable fashion'. With the research materials, six top keywords, 'zero waste', 'sustainability', 'eco-friendly', 'upcycling', 'recycling', and 'ethical', were derived. The research status was examined by year, keyword, keyword and year, and research topic. The analysis results are as follows. First, looking into the studies by year, it was found that research on sustainable fashion increased in general. Compared to 2010, the research tripled in 2020, and it was found to have increased steadily from 2018. Second, regarding the research by keyword, eco-friendly was the most common. It can be seen that research tended to focus on recycling or eco-friendliness before, but in later material design development was heading towards upcycling. Third, concerning the research by topic, case studies were found the most before, but research on design development tended to increase recently. Based on that, it is expected that the areas of sustainable fashion design that need more research will be investigated further.

  • The academic library development plan has external importance as it explicitly declares the library's role and development direction. Internally, it is also a library service guideline. To develop the development plan, libraries must understand the trends and needs of international, national, and affiliating universities and their constituents. Accordingly, this research includes case, content, and network analyses of foreign academic libraries' development plans to identify the trends. The analysis results show most foreign academic libraries employed various strategies and plans, which can be characterized as 'collaboration,' 'collection development,' and 'research support.' Consequently, we propose the following factors to consider when developing an academic library development plan: specification of mission, vision, and core values; recognition of core values such as diversity, equity, and inclusion; awareness of the significance of collaboration and partnership with other units within the universities and external organizations; and utilization of university library development plans as tools for achieving management objectives.

  • The purpose of this research was to assess the trends in research and curriculum of college education program in fashion marketing, and to suggest the implications for the research and education of fashion marketing business. The data extracted from the articles published in JKSC/IJCF and the college education curricula from 2006 to 2015 were examined to compare the result with the trend for the last 30 years of JKSC/IJCF research trend and education curricular based on the previous research. The results indicated that more than 70% of research was focused on consumer- oriented subject, such as consumer decision making process and consumer behavior, while more than 70% of education program was directed on firm-oriented subject, such as merchandising and marketing management. These results implied a slight shift for the academic research from consumer to firm oriented when comparing the result with the last 30 years of data, although the education was reclined conversely. The academic research and education program should be related in order to provide fashion industries with well educated human resources.

  • This research aimed at suggesting the research direction by investigating the trend of advanced researches that were conducted targeting the 'family of the people with disabilities' in Korea. For this, the researchers selected 6 domestic academic journals, that is, 4 academic journals focusing on disability or family and 2 academic journals that generally treat the topics related to social welfare among the registered academic journals. The researchers conducted a descriptive analysis of the frequency of the research on the family of the people with disabilities, research area, research target, and research method targeting 157 researches published between the first issue and September 2017 issue, which targeted the family of the people with disabilities. Also, this research analyzed how the family function appeared in 157 researches by utilizing the analysis frame that reclassified and composed the family function areas suggested in the advanced research into 6 areas. Based on the analysis result, this research implied that research on extended family member of the people with disabilities, which had focused on the mother of the disabled, necessity of family research considering various types of disability, extension of attention to the family of the elderly disabled people, and the research on family function area method that reflect the stream of the period.

Methods: Articles published between 2008 and 2021 were searched using the terms "long-term care system" and "nursing." Ninety-one articles were analyzed and classified into five categories according to research methods. Data were extracted through a systematic review process and underwent descriptive statistics and content analyses. Results: The most analyzed variable in the survey studies was job satisfaction. Many variables were classified into input and output factors using Donabedian's model. The content analysis showed that most suggestions were about improving the political regulation system. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish a research foundation to provide research funding and support to cultivate future nursing research in long-term care. Systematic improvement of research in nursing should be continuously pursued to revitalize nursing services, expand nursing service interventions, and improve management competency programs in nursing institutions.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of peer tutoring and feedback on academic learning in university mathematics. We compared subject satisfaction and academic achievement between the test group and the control group. We classified the test group(82 participants) and the control group(134 non-participants) and then applied peer tutoring and feedback to the test group. The rest of the environment was the same except for participation in the program. According to results, it was confirmed that the subject satisfaction were significantly higher(significance level .05) in the test group, where the subject satisfaction were learning objectives and expectation, learning satisfaction, and learning effect. Furthermore, in the change of academic achievement, the rate of decrease was lower and the rate of increase was higher in the test group than the control group. The satisfaction of participants was 4.33(Likert scale 5), and this trend tended to be same regardless of gender, high school course, or admission process.
