Comparison of Efficacy in Abnormal Cervical Cell Detection between Liquid-based Cytology and Conventional Cytology

  • This study was conducted to 1206 women who had cervical cancer screening at Chonburi Cancer Hospital. The spilt-sample study aimed to compare the efficacy of abnormal cervical cells detection between liquid-based cytology (LBC) and conventional cytology (CC). The collection of cervical cells was performed by broom and directly smeared on a glass slide for CC then the rest of specimen was prepared for LBC. All slides were evaluated and classified by The Bethesda System. The results of the two cytological tests were compared to the gold standard. The LBC smear significantly decreased inflammatory cell and thick smear on slides. These two techniques were not difference in detection rate of abnormal cytology and had high cytological diagnostic agreement of 95.7%. The histologic diagnosis of cervical tissue was used as the gold standard in 103 cases. Sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, false positive, false negative and accuracy of LBC at ASC-US cut off were 81.4, 75.0, 70.0, 84.9, 25.0, 18.6 and 77.7%, respectively. CC had higher false positive and false negative than LBC. LBC had shown higher sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV and accuracy than CC but no statistical significance. In conclusion, LBC method can improve specimen quality, more sensitive, specific and accurate at ASC-US cut off and as effective as CC in detecting cervical epithelial cell abnormalities.

정보보호 관리체계 인증 취득 후 기업가치의 변화에 관한 연구 (Firm's Market Value Trends after Information Security Management System(ISMS) Certification acquisition)

  • 본 연구는 ISMS인증 취득 후 기업의 성과를 측정하여 기업에게 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 정량적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 사건연구방법론을 사용하였으며, 기업성과 중에서 기업의 가치에 대한 변화를 측정하기 위해 주가 정보를 활용하여 특정한 사건이 기업의 가치에 미치는 영향에 대해 초과수익률을 통해 분석하였다. ISMS 인증을 취득한 기업을 대상으로 ISMS 인증 취득 후에 초과수익률이 발생한 정도에 대한 분석을 시도하였으며, 나아가 초과수익률을 3가지 상태인 증가, 유지, 감소로 분류하였으며, 집단별로 군집분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 ISMS 인증 성과에 대한 정량적 측정이 가능할 수 있고, 이를 통해 정보 보호에 대한 체계적인 활동을 요구할 수 있으며, 나아가 기업의 정보보호 활동을 하는데 있어 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

아킬레스 건 파열의 봉합 후 발생한 심부 감염의 치료 (Treatment of Deep Infection Following Repair of Achilles Tendon Rupture)

  • Purpose: Theaim of this study was to review the results of treatment for deep infection following repair of Achilles tendon rupture using reverse sural arterialized flap and/or flexor hallucis longus transfer. Materials and Methods: Five cases of Achilles tendon infection in five patients were treated using reverse sural arterialized flap and/or flexor hallucis longus transfer at our hospital with followed up of average 23.6 months (range, 13-43 months). Three patients were male and average age at surgery was 52.0 years (range, 42-59 years). Clinical results were evaluated by the method of Percy and Conochie, and the isokinetic peak torque value was interpreted according to the guideline of Sapega. Results: The clinical result was excellent in three cases, good in one case and fair in one case. The isometric peak torque value for $30^{\circ}$ per second was normal in two cases, possibly abnormal in one case, and probably abnormal in two cases, and for $120^{\circ}$, normal in one case, probably abnormal in four cases. Five cases in five patients were satisfied with the result of treatment. Conclusion: We can expect satisfactory results of treatment for deep infection following repair of Achilles tendon rupture using reverse sural arterialized flap and/or flexor hallucis longus transfer.

  • 본 논문은 사장교에서 모니터링 시스템을 통해 획득한 가속도 자료를 이용하여 케이블 관리기준 장력을 결정하기 위한 방법을 제시한다. 현재 한국의 많은 장대교량에 모니터링 시스템이 설치되어 있다. 모니터링 시스템은 교량의 이상현상이나 손상을 진단하고 관리주체에 경고하기 위해 설치된다. 사장교에 있어서는 그 기하학적인 형상 때문에 케이블 장력이 교량 이상징후의 중요한 지시가 될 수 있다. 만약 케이블 장력관리치가 너무 높거나 또는 너무 낮게 설정되면, 모니터링 시스템은 교량의 이상징후를 적절하게 경고하지 못할 것이다. 일반적으로, 관리치는 경험이나 공학적 판단에 의해 결정된다. 그러나 본 논문에서는 케이블 장력에 대한 확률분포모형과 신뢰성 해석에 기초한 새로운 케이블 장력관리치 설정에 대한 방법을 제시한다. 제안된 방법은 적용성 검토를 위하여 실제 콘크리트 사장교에 적용되었다.

소화불량 환자에서 위전도 검사와 HRV 검사와의 연관성 연구 (Correlation Study between Electrogastrography and Heart Rate Variability in Dyspeptic Patients)

  • The aim of this study was to find correlation between EGG and HRV parameters in dyspeptic patients. 39 patients (male 8, female 31) were enrolled. EGG and HRV was measured in all patients. EGG parameters like % of gastric slow wave and power ratio were used to classify patients as normal or abnormal EGG groups. HRV parameters which were included TP (total power), LF(low frequency density), HF (high frequency density), and LF/HF ratio were compared between them. EGG parameters were compared among normal, sympathetic hyperactivity, and parasympathetic hyperactivity groups classified by LF/HF ratio. There was no difference in HRV parameters between normal and abnormal EGG groups. Comparing EGG parameters among normal, sympathetic hyperactivity, and parasympathetic hyperactivity groups, both sympathetic and parasympathetic hyperactivity groups had lower value of postprandial regularity of gastric slow wave than normal group. Abnormal value of LF/HF ratio(both sympathetic and parasympathetic hyperactivity) may be related with disturbance of electrical gastric activity in patients with dyspepsia.

The Correlation between Stool Exams and Abdominal Computed Tomography (CT) Findings in the Patients with Acute Diarrhea Visiting Emergency Department (ED)

  • Purpose: Stool exams are a useful tool for the early presumptive diagnosis of infectious bacterial diarrhea in the Emergency Department (ED). CT scans are often used to increase the physician's level of certainty and to facilitate patient triage by identifying the source of pain in most patients with an acute abdomen in the ED. This study was designed to investigate the correlation between stool exams and abdominal CT in patients with acute diarrhea visiting the ED. Methods: We conducted a retrospective study in the emergency department of a national university hospital from January 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. The subjects consisted of 156 patients with acute diarrhea and abdominal pain who had stool exam results and abdominal CT findings. We divided the patients into three groups according to the stool exam results. Simultaneously, we evaluated their CT findings of the bowel and adjacent structures. Results: A total of 156 patients were enrolled. Frequency of abnormal CT findings showed statistically significant correlation with stool exams (p-value <0.001). Abnormal CT findings increased as WBCs and RBCs in stool increased (p-value <0.001). Conclusion: The stool exam was a statistically significant predictive variable in indirectly determining the severity of acute diarrhea and it showed correlation with the frequency of abnormal CT findings. It is suggested that stool exams can be used as a susceptible marker for predicting the probability of severe infectious colitis, and for making an early decision regarding close medical attention.

  • 최근 산업제어시스템은 인터넷에 연결하지 않은 폐쇄적 상태로 운영하는 과거와 달리 원격지에서 데이터를 확인하고 시스템 유지보수를 위해서 개방적 통합적인 스마트한 환경으로 변화하고 있다. 반면에 상호연결성이 증가하는 만큼 산업제어시스템을 대상으로 사이버 공격이 증가함에 따라 산업 공정의 비정상 탐지를 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 산업 공정의 결정적 규칙적인 점을 고려하여 정상데이터만을 학습시킨 탐지 모델의 결과 값과 실제 값을 비교해서 비정상 여부를 판별하는 것이 적절하다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 HAI 데이터셋 20.07과 21.03을 이용하며, 순환신경망에 게이트 구조가 적용된 GRU 알고리즘으로 서로 다른 타임 스텝을 적용한 모델을 결합하여 앙상블 모델을 생성한다. 그리고 다양한 성능평가 분석을 통해 단일 모델과 앙상블 순환신경망 모델의 탐지 성능을 비교하였으며 제안하는 모델이 산업제어시스템에서 비정상 탐지하는데 더욱 적합한 것으로 확인하였다.

영상장치 센서 데이터 QC에 관한 연구 (A study on imaging device sensor data QC)

  • Currently, Korea is an aging society and is expected to become a super-aged society in about four years. X-ray devices are widely used for early diagnosis in hospitals, and many X-ray technologies are being developed. The development of X-ray device technology is important, but it is also important to increase the reliability of the device through accurate data management. Sensor nodes such as temperature, voltage, and current of the diagnosis device may malfunction or transmit inaccurate data due to various causes such as failure or power outage. Therefore, in this study, the temperature, tube voltage, and tube current data related to each sensor and detection circuit of the diagnostic X-ray imaging device were measured and analyzed. Based on QC data, device failure prediction and diagnosis algorithms were designed and performed. The fault diagnosis algorithm can configure a simulator capable of setting user parameter values, displaying sensor output graphs, and displaying signs of sensor abnormalities, and can check the detection results when each sensor is operating normally and when the sensor is abnormal. It is judged that efficient device management and diagnosis is possible because it monitors abnormal data values (temperature, voltage, current) in real time and automatically diagnoses failures by feeding back the abnormal values detected at each stage. Although this algorithm cannot predict all failures related to temperature, voltage, and current of diagnostic X-ray imaging devices, it can detect temperature rise, bouncing values, device physical limits, input/output values, and radiation-related anomalies. exposure. If a value exceeding the maximum variation value of each data occurs, it is judged that it will be possible to check and respond in preparation for device failure. If a device's sensor fails, unexpected accidents may occur, increasing costs and risks, and regular maintenance cannot cope with all errors or failures. Therefore, since real-time maintenance through continuous data monitoring is possible, reliability improvement, maintenance cost reduction, and efficient management of equipment are expected to be possible.

영상전류 측정을 이용한 부재수용가의 전기설비에 대한 안전확보 방안 (A Plan to Ensure Safety of Electrical Installation in Empty Houses by Measuring Zero Phase Current)

  • A electrical fault that may generate an electrical disaster is defined as any abnormal condition caused by reduction in the insulation strength. To find out the abnormal condition, periodical inspections have being performed every 3 years. Recently, the number of empty houses during normal working hours is rising by dramatic increase in the number of nuclear families and double income families. To define the potential risk of the electric installation, measurement of zero phase current has been being considered. But the measured value could not be adapted to an absolute reference to the installation because the measured zero phase current value also contained capacitive leakage current. Therefore, in this paper, the correlation between the condition of the electrical installation and the zero phase current was analyzed. The result focuses on to detect them in a cost efficient way.

시계열 모델 기반 트래픽 이상 징후 탐지 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Traffic Anomaly Detection Scheme Based Time Series Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 시계열 예측 모델을 이용하여 웡 또는 바이러스 등과 같은 공격 트래픽에 의해 네트워크상에 발생할 수 있는 트래픽 이상 징후를 탐지할 수 있는 예측 모델 기반 트래픽 이상 징후 탐지 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 비교적 정확한 예측모델로 알려져 있는 ARIMA 모델을 이용하였고 이상 징후 여부를 확률값으로 변화하여 확률 임계값에 따라 이상 징후를 탐지하도록 하여 그 성능을 극대화할 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 위해 제안 기법을 네트워크상에 발생시킨 웜과 같은 비정상 공격 트래픽을 포함한 전체 트래픽과 웹 트래픽에 적용하여 트래픽의 이상 징후를 신뢰성 있는 수준에서 탐지함을 보여주었다. 이 기법을 네트워크 기반의 침입탐지시스템에 적용할 강제 큰 효과 가져올 수 있을 것이다.
