비행시험을 통한 ADS-B 운영상의 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Operational Benefits of ADS-B through experimental Flight Test in Tae-An Airport)

  • 본 논문에서의 ADS-B 비행시험은 CDTI상에 목적고도가 제공될 경우 항공교통관제사 및 조종사에게 운영상 어떠한 효과가 있는지를 실증하고자 시행되었다. 또한 이 비행시험은 현 항공교통관제업무 환경에서 ADS-B 운영시험을 하는 최초의 연구이자 향후 우리나라에 ADS-B의 배치를 고려하기 전에 운영상의 실질적인 정보를 제공하기 위한 연구이다. 비행시험을 위해 ADS-B 장비가 탑재된 H 대학교의 항공기 2대가 이용되었고, 충남 태안소재 태안비행장에 지상국이 구축되어, 기 설정된 비행절차에 따라 비행시험이 수행되었다. ADS-B 비행시험 결과 통신주파수 사용횟수 및 주파수 점유시간이 기존의 시스템에 비해 현저하게 줄어듦을 확인하였고, 따라서 항공교통관제사의 업무량(workload) 뿐만 아니라 조종사의 상황인식도 뚜렷하게 개선되어짐을 확인할 수 있었다.

Development of Operation Strategy to improve Efficiency for Twin Automated Transfer Crane in an Automated Container Terminal

  • In order to become a mega hub port, major ports all over the world are making every effort to enhance their productivity through efficiency of internal operation. Accordingly, in order to enhance the competitiveness of a container terminal, an automated container terminal is considered as the best alternative. An automated container terminal is using such automated handling equipment as AGV(Automated Guided Vehicles) and ATC(Automated Transfer Crane). The efficient equipment operation plays a critical role in enhancing the productivity of an automated container terminal. In an automated container terminal, the most important equipments are AGV and ATC. Each block of containers with a vertical layout is generally operating two ATCs. The two ATCs can be crossed or not at each block. In the case of operating crossover ATC, it has an advantage of high flexibility that ATC work is possible at both TP(Transfer Point) of each block. But it has also a disadvantage that the yard has to be operated at a low storage level of containers in the terminal yard. Recently, for automated container terminals, which are being prepared for opening in Korea, they plan to use uncrossed twin ATC in order to make the storage level of their yards high at a low cost. Therefore, studies have to be made in order to increase the efficiency of twin ATC system based on the flexibility that the crossover ATC system has. This research aims to suggest an operation strategy to improve efficiency of twin ATC at each storage block in a yard.

  • For a traveling crane, various control methods such as neural network predictive control and TDOFPID(Two Degree of Freedom Proportional Integral Derivative) are studied. So in this paper, we proposed improved navigation method to reduce transfer time and sway with anti-collision path for avoiding collision in its movement to the finial coordinate. And we constructed the NNPPID(Neural Network Predictive PID) controller to control the precise move and speedy navigation. The proposed predictive control system is composed of the neural network predictor, TDOFPID controller, and neural network self-tuner. We analyzed ASC(Automated Stacking Crane) system and showed some computer simulations to prove excellence of the proposed controller than other conventional controllers.

패밀리 셋업이 존재하는 병렬기계 일정계획 수립 (Scheduling for Parallel Machines with Family Setup Times)

  • This paper considers identical parallel machine scheduling problem. Each job has a processing time. due date. weight and family type. If a different type of job is followed by prior job. a family setup is incurred. A two phased heuristic is presented for minimizing the sum of weighted tardiness. In the first phase. using roiling horizon technique. group each job into same family and schedule each family. In the second phase. assign each job to machines using schedule obtained in the first phase. Extensive computational experiments and comparisons among other algorithms are carried out to show the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

  • Ada 언어의 일반화(Generic) 메커니즘은 복잡한 대형 시스템의 설계에 있어 소프트웨어의 재사용성을 높이기 위한 효과적인 방편으로 사용되어 왔다. 일반화 모듈은 기능 또는 알고리즘은 정의되었으나 파라미터의 구체적인 속성이 아직 정해지지 않은 한 개의 소프트웨어 모듈을 다양한 파라미터를 적용하여 여러 곳에서 반복적으로 사용할 수 있도록 한 개념이다. 정형이론 및 구조적 설계기법에 기반한 설계도구인 Stalemate 또한 설계 모듈의 반복적인 재사용을 위해 일반화 차트(Generic Chart)를 제공하고 있다. ATCS(Air Traffic Control System) 설계 모듈에 적용한 결과 두 가지 모두 소프트웨어의 재사용과 설계의 효율성 향상을 위한 도구로 활용할 수 있으며 Statemate의 경우 일반화 차트를 다양한 자료형으로 실례화(Instantiation)할 수 있다면 보다 효과적인 설계모듈의 재사용이 가능할 것이다.

작업 투입시점과 순서 의존적인 작업준비시간이 존재하는 단일 기계 일정계획 수립을 위한 Tabu Search (A Tabu Search Algorithm for Single Machine Scheduling Problem with Job Release Times and Sequence - dependent Setup Times)

  • We present a tabu search (TS) algorithm to minimize maximum lateness on a single machine in the presence of sequence dependent setup times and dynamic job arrivals. The TS algorithm starts with a feasible schedule generated by a modified ATCS (Apparent Tardiness Cost with Setups) rule, then through a series of search steps it improves the initial schedule. Results of extensive computational experiments show that the TS algorithm significantly outperforms a well-known RHP heuristic by Ovacik and Uzsoy, both on the solutions quality and the computation time. The performance advantage is particularly pronounced when there is high competition among jobs for machine capacity.

3차진료기관 외래약국 투약대기시간에 영향을 주는 요인 (Factors Affecting Patient Waiting Times at the Outpatient Pharmacy Department in a Tertiary Care Hospital)

  • Background: The number of outpatients visiting large university teaching hospitals has increased drastically with the introduction of a nationwide health care insurance in 1989 and the improvement of the socio-economic status of the population. This resulted in long waiting times for services, particularly prescribed drugs, which have been patients' chief complaints. Hospitals have tried to solve the problem with limited success because their approach lacked comprehensive research. The objective of this study is to investigate associations between waiting times and variables defining a total work system. Methods: Data for the outpatient pharmacy department in a tertiary care university teaching hospital located in Seoul was analyzed to achieve the study objective. Associations of pharmacy system variables -- work load, work force, pharmacist work schedule, machine problems, and inventory control -- with mean and 99th percentile of waiting times were examined by the hierarchical stepwise regression method. Day was a unit of the analyses. Results: The regression models explained 65.8% of variance in the mean waiting time and 61.34% in the 99th percentile of waiting times. The break-down of the printer for drug envelops, Automatic Tablet Counters (ATCs), and main computer system lasted longer than 30 minutes increased the mean for 7.7 minutes, 4.5 minutes, and 7.0 minutes, respectively, and the 99th percentile for 14.8 minutes, 9.0 minutes, and 15.7 minutes, respectively. Concerning the work force, study results showed that there were significant differences in the productivity of pharmacists with work experience more than three years, one to three years, and less than one year, and showed that peak time aid work by pharmacists at job assignments other than the outpatient pharmacy, part-time pharmacists, and the installation of ATCs were effective in reducing waiting times, Finally, study findings indicated that the operational policy of work assignment and rotation schedule, supply and inventory of drugs at work tables, and readiness for undisrupted work during the work hours could have a significant effect on waiting times. Conclusion: The study results indicated that efforts to reduce waiting times for prescribed drugs should be geared toward every components of the pharmacy work system ranging from work schedule of pharmacists and supply of dugs at work tables. These findings should provide hospital managers with right directions in battling the problem.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 시뮬레이션을 통하여 자동화 컨테이너터미널의 ATC에 의한 이적작업의 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 자동화 컨테이너터미널은 수직배치의 장치장 형태이며 한 블록에서 반입, 반출, 양하, 적하의 네가지 작업이 발생하게 되므로 운영측면에서 장치장 할당이 매우 중요한 문제이다. 그러므로 효율적인 장치장 운영을 위해서 ATC에 의한 한 블록내에서의 이적작업이 반드시 필요하다. 시뮬레이션 실험을 통하여 이적작업의 효율성을 분석하고 장치장 할당에 관한 방법을 제시한다.

지상운영시험을 통한 ADS-B 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Benefits of Ground Operational Test using ADS-B in Tae-An Airport)

  • The ADS-B test is a program that is examining the use of ADS-B, especially CDTI for aircraft surveillance in Korea. The ADS-B project is to provide operational benefits to Air Traffic Controllers in the selected area and provide first operational experience of ADS-B in ATCS environment of South Korea. For these objectives, the ground station has installed in Tae-An airport, Participation in the Ground Test has been limited to 4 Aircraft of Hanseo University which are installed ADS-B equipment. Ground test is a test that is examining on the movement area of Tae-An Airport on the assumption that the visibility is below weather minia of the airport. This test have been experimented as pre-arranged scenarios. In view of the results achieved, it has shown that the volume of voice communication between controller and pilot are remarkably reduced. Additionally, as both pilots and air traffic controllers are able to see the positions of traffic in the vicinity of the aircraft, the test has demonstrated that it is possible for ADS-B not only to decline the controller's workload, but also to enhance pilot situational awareness in the near future.

자동화 컨테이너 터미널에서 수입 컨테이너 장치 블록 크기 결정을 위한 모형 (Models for Determining the Size of Import Container Block in Automated Container Terminals)

  • 자동화 컨테이너 터미널의 생산성은 자동화된 트랜스퍼 크레인(Automated Transfer Crane, ATC)의 속도에 관계된 성능뿐 만 아니라 컨테이너 블록의 크기에 크게 영향을 받는다. 본 연구에서는 ATC의 컨테이너 취급시간과 장치공간을 고려하여 수입 컨테이너 장치 블록의 크기를 어떻게 결정할 것인가에 대해서 다룬다. 먼저, 전형적인 수입 컨테이너 블록에서 ATC의 컨테이너 취급시간을 평가하는 모형을 제시한다. 둘째, 수입 컨테이너 블록의 크기를 결정하는 세 가지의 수리모형을 제시한다. 컨테이너 장치 블록의 크기를 결정하기 위해 제시한 모형들에 대한 수치예제를 제시한다.
