Session Initiation Protocol(이하 SIP)은 H.323 network에서 제기된 문제점을 해결하고 다양한 multimedia service를 제공하기위해 IETF에서 정의된 protocol로서, 3GPP의 IP Multimedia Subsystem(이하 IMS)의 기반 protocol로 채택되었다. IMS는 multimedia service를 제공하기 위한 infrastructure로서 CSCF, HSS, MRF, MGCF, IM-GW등 기능적으로 분리된 여러 entity로 구성되며, 향후 추가될 다양한 부가 service에 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 Application Server(이하 AS) mechanism을 포함하고 있다. 현재 AS mechanism을 이용하여 3GPP규격 상에 정의된 대표적 서비스는 presence service이며, presence service network은 presence server, presence agent, presence proxy, watcher등으로 구성된다. 마지막으로 상기에 언급한 규격을 바탕으로 실제 구축된 Instant messaging/presence service network을 제시한다. 전자상거래와 소셜미디어 서비스의 활성화에 따라, 집단지성을 개인 맞춤 서비스에 활용하는 추천시스템에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 또한, 스마트폰의 발달과 모바일 환경의 발달에 따라 단말의 제약성에도 불구하고 개인화 서비스에 대한 연구가 가속화되고 있다. 대표적인 예로 위치기반 서비스와의 결합이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 영화의 장르유사도와 선호장르를 이용한 추천시스템을 제안한다. 영화 장르 유사도 프로파일을 생성하여 이를 모바일실험 환경에서 서비스 될 수 있도록 설계하고 프로토 타이핑 한 후에 MovieLens 데이터를 적용하여 평가한다.

본 논문에서는 인터넷 기반 멀티미디어 응용 서비스가 요구하는 상호운용성과 사용자에게 높은 품질의 서비스를 지원할 수 있는 UQoS 관리 (UQoSM : User Quality of Service Management) 미들웨어 프레임워크를 제안한다. UQoS 관리 미들웨어 시스템은 멀티미디어 응용 시스템들의 사용자 요구사항들을 지원하기 위해 기존의 이벤트 서비스 모델에 리플렉션(reflection) 기법을 적용하여 이벤트 모니터, 리플렉티브 이벤트 필터링, 실시간 관리 등의 컴포넌트를 포함하는 구조를 가진다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 인터넷 기반 멀티미디어 응용 서비스 사용자의 다양한 요구 사항을 지원할 수 있는 리플렉티브 이벤트 필터링을 제공하는 것에 중점을 두었다. 이로써 사용자는 보다 높은 서비스를 제공받게 되고 이 과정을 통해 전체적인 네트워크 트래픽이 감소되는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.

This paper describes the design, manufacturing process, testing, application, and assessment of capacity-ratings of the first all advanced composites bridge on a public highway system. In order to verify the bridge design prior to the field application, a sub-scale bridge superstructure was built and tested in the laboratory. The field load test results were compared with those of the finite element analysis for the verification of validity. To investigate its in-service performance, field load testing and visual inspections were conducted under an actual service environment. The paper includes the presentation and discussion for advanced composites bridge capacity rating based on the stress modification coefficients obtained from the test results. The test result indicates that the advanced composites bridge has no structural problems and is structurally performing well in-service as expected. Since these composite materials are new to bridge applications, reliable data is not available for their in-service performance. The results may provide a baseline data for future field advanced composites bridge capacity rating assessments and also serve as part of a long-term performance of advanced composites bridge.

유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 환경에서는 다양한 공간에 RFID, 센서 네트워크 등으로부터 지속적이고, 주기적으로 사용자 및 사물에 관한 다양하고 방대한 양의 센서 데이터 정보가 발생한다. 이러한 센서 서비스를 제공하는 수많은 제공자들 중에서 사용자는 자신이 원하는 서비스를 찾을 수 있어야 하며, 해당 서비스를 사용 시, 사용자의 요구에 맞는 서비스를 제공받아야 한다. 그러나 현재의 USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 응용 서비스 환경에서는 이런 일련의 서비스들을 검색할 수 있는 레지스트리가 거의 없으며, 있더라도 비즈니스 위주의 UDDI(Universal desccription discovery, and integration)만이 존재한다. 또한, 서비스를 사용시 사용자의 요구에 맞는 서비스를 제공해야 하지만, 현재의 서비스들은 하나의 조건 또는 이벤트에 따른 서비스만 제공한다. 따라서 여러 조건이나 이벤트에 따라 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 룰 기반의 서비스 이벤트 처리 시스템이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존 UDDI를 참고한 센서 서비스 검색을 위한 서비스 레지스트리 시스템 및 WS-ECA(Web Service Event Conditon Action)와 같은 웹서비스(Web Service) 기반의 이벤트 룰을 참고한 USN 응용 서비스를 위한 이벤트처리 시스템에 대한 연구를 하였다.

본 연구에서는 Smart Phone에서 사용하는 영어학습용 어플리케이션으로서, 기존의 제품에 대비하여 음성지원 프로그램과 검색창 등을 제공하는 것으로 차별성을 두어, 보다 편리하고 실용적인 서비스 모듈을 스마트폰 운영체제인 안드로이드 기반에서 작동하는 앱으로서 개발하였다. 서비스 모듈 구현을 위해서 분석, 설계 및 구현과정을 거쳐서 작성된 문서 산출물과, 실제 구현 화면 등을 포함한 일부 코딩 내용을 제시하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해서 보다 효율적인 영어단어 암기 학습효과를 기대할 수 있다.

The development of POS (Point of Sales) systems for small retailers according to their needs is considered to be important to improve their competitive advantages. However, their financial statuses hinder the adoption of the tailored POS systems. Viewing ASP as a viable solution to provide tailored POS systems for the small retailers, this study develops ASP POS service models for the small retailers. First, this study elicits ASP POS requirements of the small retailers in the following areas: merchandising, pricing, store design and display, customer service, advertising and promotion and personal selling. Then, the requirements are clustered and the clusters are analyzed based on the characteristics of the retailers. Then, ASP service models are proposed according to the needs and profiles of the retailers.

Many distributed applications is developed in various environment such as operating system, software platform. So, they exhibit different types of system behavior, status, during the course of their operation. Each such behavior may have different functional and non-functional requirements. Therefore, many distributed application need to fault-tolerance solution. Personal robot provide various service or application. Because personal robot has many application or service, it need to fault-tolerance architecture. A flexible architecture is required to provide dependability. In this paper, it is suggested a fault-tolerant architecture for module-based personal robot with module fault-tolerance, service fault-tolerance.

In this paper, we describe the architecture of interactive data broadcasting server that can transmit the various data-service contents of the Terrestrial DMB(digital multimedia broadcasting). In the broadcasting environment of the Terrestrial DMB, we enjoys the PADS(program associated data service), or the PIDS(program independent data service) to be executed on various T-DMB terminals as well as the basic video or audio services. This server provides the function such as the data contests management, data channel management, service information configure, return channel connection. Etc. Particularly, this system provides the method to create and transfer the application signaling information for the T- DMB middle application based the java language.

This paper presents the business model and system functionalities of a B2B e-marketplace solution that not only can overcome some problems of the public e-marketplace, but also can be applicable to both public and private types of e-marketplaces. This solution is different from the most of the public e-marketplace solutions that their main sources of revenue are transaction commissions or transaction fees through the third-party intermediation. Instead, this solution provides an ASP (Application Service Provider) functionality for direct, disintermediated purchasing and sales-related transactions between suppliers and buyers. With this functionality, suppliers and buyers electronically commerce with each other without the disclosure of their transactions as well as transaction commissions.
