Door Effort Analysis for Door Checker of Integrated Type with Torsion Bar Spring (토션 바 스프링을 적용한 일체형 도어체커 개폐력 해석)

  • Door effort was calculated for a new door checker with torsion bar spring and integrated checker case by FE analysis. A hybrid checker arm which has peaks and valleys only on the upper surface was adopted to reduce noise in operation and make operation with more distinctive steps. The checker arm was modeled using shell elements to estimate both the longitudinal and the lateral resistance force by checker arm. By combining the checker arm resistance force obtained from analysis and the door self-closing force by the theoretical calculation, door effort was predicted to show the good correlation with test results. In addition the unrolling effect of roller model was investigated and a new roller type for more smooth rolling was studied.

  • This paper is dealing with how to control of a client robot's movement for instructions from a server PC and a wireless andremote control Robot that sends the server information of images for monitoring. To implement this. 802.11x WLAN with TCP/IP socket programming is used to get the driving instructions from the server PC and control movements of the robot such as a forward, backward and directions. As well as this, ARM9 cored PAX255 embedded processor and Linux OS is used for the function transmitting BMP format of 320 ${\times}$ 240 pixel for stopped image data.

  • 실시간 시스템이란 요청된 작업의 논리적 정확성과 시간적 제약을 만족하게 하는 시스템으로 요청된 작업을 예측 가능한 시간 내에 완료하는 시스템을 말한다. 범용 운영체제인 Linux는 실시간성을 지원하지 않기 때문에 ARM 프로세서(Processor) 기반의 Linux 환경에서도 실시간성을 제공하기 위해 본 연구를 진행한다. 본 연구는 Exynos 5422 ARM 프로세서에서 제공하는 타이머를 활용하여 실시간성을 확보하여 Linux 환경에 대한 실시간성 지원 제약을 해결할 수 있다.

  • Recently, miniaturization and weight reduction is getting more attention due to various benefits in automotive components design. It is a trend that the design of experiment(DOE) and statical design method are frequently used for optimization. In this research, the safety of lower control arm is evaluated according to its material change form S45C to A16061 for the reduction of arm's weight. The variance analysis on the basis of structure analysis and DOE is applied to the lower control m. We have proposed a statistical design model to evaluate the effect of structural modification by performing the practical multi-objective optimization considering mass, stress and deflection.

  • Researches of U-Healthcare have been fulfilled lively with an advanced age and change of lifestyles. Especially, medical field has focused on researches of U-Healthcare due to that reasons. The U-Healthcare service requires the foundation technologies, such as sensor aggregating, data transmitting and realtime monitoring technologies, In this study, we implemented medical sensor that applied Bluetooth technology to guarantee the patient's movement. Moreover, we also implemented a gateway which based on Google Android System in ARM 11 Embedded system.

  • This paper is to implement MoIP platform to send and receive video and audio at the same time by using high-performance Dual Core Processor. Even if Wall-Pad key component of a home network system is released by using embedded processors, it's lacking of performance in terms of multimedia processing and feature of video telephony through which video and voice are exchanged simultaneously. The main reason could be that embedded processors currently being used do not provide enough performance to support both MoIP call features and various home network features simultaneously. In order to solve these problems, Dual processor could be used, but in the other hands it brings another disadvantage of high cost. Therefore, this study is to solve the home automation features and video telephony features by using Dual Core Processor based on ARM 11 Processor and implement the MoIP Wall-Pad which can reduce the board design costs and component costs, and improve performance. The platform designed and implemented in this paper verified performance of MoIP to exchange the video and voice at the same time under the situation of Ethernet network.

Change in Gait Parameters by Arm Sling Types in Healthy Adults (팔걸이 형태에 따른 정상인의 보행변수 변화)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the variations in gait parameters according to arm slings used in healthy adults. Twenty healthy adults (9 males, 11 females) participated in this study and walked at self-selected speeds on a GAITRite-instrumented carpet. They were randomly assigned conditions: without an arm sling, a care sling, a Harris hemi arm sling, a CVA sling, and a Rolyan humeral cuff sling. The following gait parameters were analyzed: the temporo-spatial parameters of gait velocity, swing phase, single support, cadence. In the comparison of parameters in each trial, step length was statistically significantly changed(p=.002). The right step length was significantly decreased in the Harris hemi arm sling and increased in the Rolyan humeral cuff sling when compared with no sling. This study found that several different types arm slings varied gait pattern in healthy adults.

Event Routing Scheme to Improve I/O Latency of SMP VM (SMP 가상 머신의 I/O 지연 시간 감소를 위한 이벤트 라우팅 기법)

  • According to the hypervisor scheduler, the vCPU (virtual CPU) operates under two states: the running state and the stop state. When the vCPU is in the stop state, incoming events are delayed until that vCPU's state changes to the running state. The latency in handling such events that are sent to the vCPU is regarded as the I/O latency. Since a SMP (symmetric multiprocessing) VM (virtual machine) incorporates multiple vCPUs, the event latency on a SMP VM can vary according to specific vCPU that receives the event. In this paper, we propose a new scheme named event routing that sends events according to the operation state of each vCPU to reduce the event latency on an SMP VM. We implemented the proposed event routing scheme in Xen ARM hypervisor and confirmed the reduction of I/O latency from measuring the network RTT (round trip time) and the TCP bandwidth under a variety of testing conditions. The network RTT decreases by up to 94% and the TCP bandwidth increases up to 35% when compare to native Xen ARM.

Biomechanical Analysis of Arm Motion during Steering Using Motion Analysis Technique (동작분석기법을 이용한 조향동작에 대한 팔의 생체역학적 특성분석)

  • Biomechanical analysis of arm motion during steering was performed using a motion analysis technique. Three-dimensional position data for each part of arm are fed into an interactive model combining a musculoskeletal arm model and the mechanical steering system to calculate joint angles and torques using inverse kinematic and dynamic analyses, respectively. The analysis shows that elbow pronation/supination, wrist flexion/extension, shoulder adduction/abduction, and shoulder flexion/extension have significant magnitudes. Sensitivity analysis of the arm joint motion with respect to seating posture and steering wheel configuration is carried out to investigate the qualitative influence of the seating posture and driver's seat configuration on the steering behavior.
