Application Methodology of XML Test Assertion for BioAPI Standard Conformance Tests in Distributed Environment (분산 환경에서의 생체인증 API 표준 적합성을 위한 XML Test Assertion 적용 방안)

  • 분산 환경에서 신분 확인을 위한 생체인증기기가 이용되는 경우 그 기기가 생체인증 표준인 BioAPI를 준용하여 제대로 구현된 것인가에 대한 적합성 시험이 필요하게 된다. 이러한 적합성 시험은 분산 환경의 사용자 및 서비스 제공자에게 표준 규격을 준용한 제품이라는 신뢰성을 주게 된다. 기존에 제공되는 있는 BioAPI(Biometric Application Programming Interface) v2.0 기반의 BSP(Biometric Service Provider)는 오프라인 상에서 BioAPI기반의 제품의 준용 여부만을 평가하기 때문에 분산 환경에서 여러 사람이 동시에 준용 여부를 평가 받기 힘들며 이에 따른 동시 서비스 제공도 불가능하다. 본 논문에서는 BioAPI v2.0 기반의 제품들이 분산 환경에서 제공되는 9개 모델의 표준화된 환경으로 구분하고, 원활한 적합성 시험을 위하여 XML기반의 Test Assertion을 설계하여 생체인증 API 표준 적합성을 시험하였다. XML Test Assertion을 이용한 생체인증 적합성 시험을 위한 메시지 플로우를 밝혀 그 타당성을 입증하였다.

Java API for Native ATM Services (순수 ATM 서비스를 제공하는 자바 API)

  • In this paper, we propose an ATM API for Java pplication programming. The proposed Java ATM API is an extended form of java.net package of the Java Core API. Our Java ATM API is defined based on the ATM Forum's semantic standard for native ATM services, "Native ATM Service : Semantic Description, Version 1.0". IN order to provide native ATM services, we defined several new classes within the java.net package, including AtmAddress for AtmAddress, AtmSocket, ATM BLLI and AtmBHLI for Atm BLLI and BHLI information, AtmServerSocket, AtmMulticastSocket, AtmSocketImpl for socket programming over native ATM communication, and AtmConnAttr for native ATM connection characteristics. Software structure for construcing the Java ATM API over Winsock 2 environment and its implementation method are also presented.

DRAZ: SPARQL Query Engine for heterogeneous metadata sources (DRAZ : 이기종 메타 데이터 소스를 위한 SPARQL 쿼리 엔진)

  • Many researches proposed federated query engines to perform query on several homogeneous or heterogeneous datasets simultaneously that significantly improve the quality of query results. The existing techniques allow querying only over a few heterogeneous datasets considering the static binding using the non-standard query. However, we observe that a simultaneous system considering the integration of heterogeneous metadata standards can offer better opportunity to generalize the query over any homogeneous and heterogeneous datasets. In this paper, we propose a transparent federated engine (DRAZ) to query over multiple data sources using SPARQL. In our system, we first develop the ontology for a non-RDF metadata standard based on the metadata kernel dictionary elements, which are standardized by the metadata provider. For a given SPARQL query, we translate any triple pattern into an API call to access the dataset of corresponding non-RDF metadata standard. We convert the results of every API call to N-triples and summarize the final results considering all triple patterns. We evaluated our proposed DRAZ using modified Fedbench benchmark queries over heterogeneous metadata standards, such as DCAT and DOI. We observed that DRAZ can achieve 70 to 100 percent correctness of the results despite the unavailability of the JOIN operations.

  • During the last ten years, the need has been increase for reducing maintenance cost for aged equipments are ensuring safety, efficiency and profitability of petrochemical and refinery plants. American Petroleum institute(API) developed a code, API 581 for proposing standard procedures of risk based inspection. Even though the API 581 code covers general RBI procedures, there must be some limitations. In this study, a semi-quantitative assessment algorithm for RBI based on the API 581 code was reconstructed for developing an RBI software. The user-friendly realRBI software is developed with a module for evaluation semi-quantitative risk category using the potential consequence factor and the likelihood factor. Also, inspection planning module for inspection time and inspection method for equipments are included.

Research on Automatic Translation of Standard Language through Contemplation of Korean Destruction Phenomena in Internet Media Language (인터넷 매체 언어의 국어 파괴 현상의 고찰을 통한 표준어 자동 번역 기술에 대한 연구)

  • In this paper, we consider the discussion of the breakdown phenomenon of korean language that is displayed in the language of the Internet media, as a technical improvement approach to this, and to provide an automatic translation technology of standard language. The collected through real life surveys and experience and damage case regarding language breakdown phenomena in the FGI (Focussed Group Interview), and presents the results of the analysis, based on the analysis result data, we defined the index of language destroyed (degree of Korean destruction). The limit of the national language break or automatic translation technology standard language marked with translation errors that have to be minimized, the efficiency of the automatic translation technology standard language which may be utilized as a measure to get the maximum, and presented through the Internet media texts 2,480 pieces of analysis. Automatic translation technology of the standard language and was also measured the proposed language destroyed in this paper, we implemented in the form of a REST API using the Java language, was confirmed to work on the Web browser.

Design and Implementation of File System API based on Java Card (자바카드기반 파일 시스템 API의 설계 및 구현)

  • Java Card has several applets running on card, and applet can be added easily. Each applet supports different application programs, and includes file system for data management. This paper presents design and implementation of the file system API based on Java Card for the efficient data management in need of the applet. We referred the smart card international standard ISO7816-4 for the file system and used API supported at Java Card. Results show that it is easy to design and operation of file systems during the applet development, also show lighting of applet's source codes and improved access times.

A Benchmark Study of Design Codes on Offshore Pipeline Collapse for Ultra-Deepwater

  • The objective of this paper is to summarize current ultra-deepwater (i.e., up to 3,500 meters water depth) pipeline mechanical design methodologies as part of the limit state design. The standard mechanical design for ultra-deepwater pipelines in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) is based on API RP 1111. API code also has been used for deepwater projects in west Africa. DNV code OS-F101 was mostly used for deepwater projects in offshore Brazil and Europe. Some pipeline designs in the GOM have started to incorporate parts of the DNV design methodology. A discussion of failure under collapse only and combined loading (i.e. pressure + bending) is presented. The best design criteria are obtained from physical full-scale collapse testing. The comparison of the physical test data and collapse calculations using the DNV and API codes will be presented. It was found that the conservatism still exists in the collapse prediction for ultra-deepwater pipeline using modem design codes such as DNV OS-F101 and API RP 1111.

Study on the Hydrogen Induced Cracking(HIC) Initiation of API-X80 Steels by Using 3-Axis Controlled Ultrasonic Inspection Unit (3축-초음파 비파괴 검사 장비를 이용한 API-X80 강재의 수소유기 균열 개시 연구)

  • API X-80강재의 수소유기균열(HIC)현상을 비파괴적으로 평가하는 장치를 구축하고 금상학적 평가를 수행하였다. 시편은 열간 압연된 API X-80강재이며 평균입도는 약 $1.76-1.99{\mu}m$ 이었다. 압연재의 금상학적 집합조직은 (110)극점은 ND방향에 평행, (100)극점은 TD방향으로 약 $30^{\circ}$, TD방향으로부터 RD방향으로 약 $45^{\circ}$ 기울어져 있으며, (211)면은 RD방향에 수직인 면으로부터 TD방향으로 약 $35^{\circ}$ 기울어져서 있었다. Pin-on-disk형 마모시험기를 이용한 상온 평균 마찰계수는 0.745였으며 마모손실은 0.0196 mm/min 이었다. 3축 제어 초음파 비파괴 검사 장비는 표면으로부터 약 3mm 깊이의 1 mm 크기의 모의 균열을 탐촉자가 10 mm 접근하면 검출이 가능하였다. HIC시험분위기(NACE-standard TM 0248)에 1일 이상 장입하면 초음파비파괴검사장비로 측정될 수 있는 마이크로미터크기의 균열을 측정할 수 있었다.

A SOA-based Dynamic Service Composition Framework using Web Services and OpenAPIs (웹 서비스와 OpenAPI를 사용한 SOA 기반 동적 서비스 합성 프레임워크)

  • With the advent of Web 2.0, OpenAPIs are becoming an increasing trend to emphasize Web as platform recently. OpenAPIs are used to combine services and generate new services by mashup. However because the standard documents for OpenAPIs do not exist, it may restrict the use of OpenAPIs. Previous studies of OpenAPIs mashup have been limited to tool design or language definition for service combination rather than dynamic composition. On the other hand, Web services that are a software technology implementing SOA provide standard documents such as WSDL to explain each service, UDDI to register it, and SOAP to transfer messages. Thus Web applications can interpret and execute services by using these technologies. Recent works have also been performed to provide semantic features and dynamic composition for SOA. If a dynamic and systematic approach is provided to combine Web services and OpenAPIs, Web applications can provide users with diverse services. In this study, we present a SOA based framework for mashup of OpenAPIs and Web services. The framework supports dynamic composition of OpenAPIs and Web services, where the process of composite services is described in OWL-S. A prototype is provided to validate our framework. The framework is expected to add diversity to typical Web services.

A Method of Measuring Accessibility for Community Infrastructure Planning (생활인프라 공급계획을 위한 접근성 평가 방법)

  • Recently, interest and financial investment in community infrastructure have been growing. Accordingly, Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport suggested a standard for community infrastructure planning. The standard was based on time distance which represents citizens' accessibility to infrastructure facilities. This paper presents a method to use the navigation application programming interface (API) to calculate travel time. Buffer analysis using Euclidean distance has been widely used so far to evaluate accessibility. However, this method has limitation in that it does not reflect situations in the real world such as crosswalks and slope ways. The infrastructure accessibility indices of local towns in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon were computed based on the time obtained by navigation API. Also, Yeonsu-gu was spatially analyzed to reveal the resident units that are marginalized from community infrastructure facilities. Using navigation API enables to compute realistic accessibility indices and to find unbenefitted residential areas. The method presented in this paper can help community infrastructure planners for their facility spatial plan and budget distribution.
