  • In the domestic atmosphere environment, the VOCs and the NOx have a large proportion of the pollutant, and the HCHO is the main environmental pollutant factor within the house. In this study, the inorganic paint which can absorb and remove VOCs, NOx and HCHO is developed by using clay-titania carrier. The basic data to develope eco-friendly inorganic paint is collected with the performance test to remove the VOCs, NOx and HCHO in the condition of the addition of several inorganic materials to the paint, and also the plan to practical use of eco-friendly inorganic paint is studied.

  • Hydraulic excavator consists of booms, arms, bucket, and cylinder. The cylinder make these structures moved and the cushion parts of cylinder in operation absorb the great impact which is stemmed from high velocity and pressure at cushion parts of cylinders. The cushion technology of cylinders has a great effect on the operator's comfortable as well as protecting equipment from damage by suppressing the inertia of the hydraulic excavator. In this study, three hydraulic cylinders have different shapes of a cushion ring, respectively. we studied optimal cushion pattern by analyzing the change of cushion pressure and time, according to supply pressure and velocity variations.

  • Wind energy has been more and more important and contributive in the energy utilization of the world. This paper proposed a novel method for Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS), in which a secondary control hydrostatic transmission (SC-HST) with two hydraulic accumulators, were employed for wind energy conversion system. This approach can absorb the excessive power of turbine, keep the generator from over-speed and maintain the speed of generator in low speed of turbine. A PID controller was designed for speed control to track a predefined speed. The simulation results indicated that the speed of the generator was ensured with the relative error less than 2%; and the efficiency of the proposed system was 70.4%.

  • The paper describes a characteristics analysis for cushion pressure and cushion stroke time at hydraulic cushioning cylinder. In hydraulic cushioning cylinder, an inertia exaggerates a kinetic energy at a reciprocation that collide with an end of stroke and generate a destructive shock, noise and vibration within the structural and operating member of machine of equipment. In order to reduce which cause to undesirable noise, vibration and fatigue in hydraulic control system, it is indispensible measure a cushion parameters at cushion region of hydraulic cushioning cylinder. A cushioning device is applied to absorb high impact energy and to decelerate a fast travelling object, too. At an experimental results, it turns out that cushion pressure is mainly a function of the external load and cylinder input flowrate rather than the supply pressure.

  • Reprints of Dongeuibogam were made in 1659 in Daegu and once again in 1754 in Yeongyeong, Daegu. In 1814, it was republished in Wanyeong. These block books were officially released by government authorities while various reprints and copies were utilized by civilians. Also, Dongeuibogam was published several times for use in Japan and China. The National Library of Korea utilizes Dongeuibogam in a total of 401 types including 248 general books, 104 academic papers, 32 non-books and 17 old books. This can be classified by theme into 235 general theories, 23 medicinal prescriptions, 24 preservations and 13 drugs. Although the key to traditional medicine lies in its many years of experience, it is important to absorb the technical aspects of western medicine instead of relying on past experience alone.

  • Absorption of lightweight aggregate affects the properties of fresh and hardened concrete, so care must be taken. In this study, according to KS F 2533 absorption is measured to aggregate size, submerged time, holding time and practically ways to maintain a constant absorption was to seek. The findings for quality control of the lightweight aggregate concrete mixture is saturation of the surface-dry aggregate humidity 100% after 24 hours immersion in the environment has been stored for more than two days to absorb the state was able to define. Dry density at the surface of the lightweight aggregate and lightweight concrete mix design and placement is possible for it to apply.

  • Photovoltaic effects in organic solar cell were studied in a cell configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/CuPc(20 nm)/$C_{60}$(40 nm)/BCP/Al(150 nm) at room temperature. Here, the BCP layer works as an exciton blocking layer. The exciton blocking layer must transport electrons from the acceptor layer to the metal cathode with minimal increase in the total cell series resistance and should absorb damage during cathode deposition. Therefore, a proper thickness of the exciton blocking layer is required for an optimized photovoltaic cell. Several thicknesses of BCP were made between $C_{60}$ and Al. And we obtained characteristic parameters such as short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, and power conversion efficiency of the device under the illumination of AM 1.5.

  • The SVC(Static Var Compensator) resulted from the FACTS technology can generate or absorb reactive power rapidly so as to increase the transient and voltage stability. In this paper, the SVC is applied to the power system in order to improve the total transfer capability from a viewpoint of static voltage stability and the effects of application of the SVC to the power system are analyzed. The IPLAN, which is a high level language used with PSS/E program, is employed for determining the total transfer capability.

  • The route of surge arrester connection is very important because bends and kinds of leads increase the impedance to lightning surges and tend to nullify the effectiveness of a grounding electrode conductor. There is a need to know how effective installation of lightning surge arresters is made in order to control voltage and to absorb energy at high lightning currents. The effectiveness of a grounding conductor and bonding for 18[kV] metal oxide distribution line arresters was experimentally investigated with lightning and oscillating impulse voltages.

  • This thesis is researched to compare the shrinkage of lightweight concrete depending on depth to normal concrete. It is used artificial lightweight aggregate which has 20% of pre-absorb value by lightweight concrete. When water-binder ratio is 30%, average shrinkage of lightweight concrete section decreased than normal concrete, but differential shrinkage of lightweight concrete section increased. However water-binder ratio is 40%, average shrinkage and differential shrinkage of lightweight concrete section decreased than normal concrete.
