  • This study is concerned with the quantitative Quality of Service(QoS) of the Light Railway Transit(LRT) System. Generally, the QoS offered to passengers by the Operator of LRT system can be quantified in various ways. In this paper, we assumed that the QoS is a combination of both Train Delivery and Train Punctuality under considering LRT characteristics including core sub-systems such as, rolling stock, signalling, power-supply and PSD(platform screen door), etc. We also, provide a quantitative analysis method to evaluate the QoS related the reliability of LRT system.

The Filtered-x Least Mean Fourth Algorithm for Active Noise Cancellation and Its Convergence Behavior

  • In this paper, we propose the filtered-x least mean fourth (LMF) algorithm where the error raised to the power of four is minimized and analyze its convergence behavior for a multiple sinusoidal acoustic noise and Gaussian measurement noise. Application of the filtered-x LMF adaptive filter to active noise cancellation (ANC) requires estimating of the transfer characteristic of the acoustic path between the output and error signal of the adaptive controller. The results of 7he convergence analysis of the filtered-x LMF algorithm indicates that the effects of the parameter estimation inaccuracy on the convergence behavior of the algorithm are characterized by two distinct components : Phase estimation error and estimated gain. In particular, the convergence is shown to be strongly affected by the accuracy of the phase response estimate. Also, we newly show that convergence behavior can differ depending on the relative sizes of the Gaussian measurement noise and convergence constant.

  • Extruded aluminium panels have been widely used for railway vehicle structures because of their light specific weight and other merit. In the past, GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) were mainly used to join aluminium panels. But recently friction stir welding (FSW) is widely used. due to its lots of advantage. In this study aluminium A6005-T6 which are used for car body structures was chosen. The influence of main parameters such as : pin rotating speed, welding speed, shoulder diameter, pin length and tilting angle on mechanical properties was examined. Optical microscope observation, micro hardness test and tensile test were carried out. Tensile strength of the stir welded plates is 74% of that of the base material.

  • ErmSF is one of the Erm family proteins which catalyze S-adenosyl-$_L$-methionine dependent modification of a specific adenine residue (A2058, E. coli numbering) in bacterial 23S rRNA, thereby conferring resistance to clinically important macrolide, lincosamide and streptogramin B ($MLS_B$) antibiotics. $^{222}FXPXPXVXS^{230}$ (ErmSF numbering) sequence appears to be a consensus sequence among the Erm family. This sequence was supposed to be involved in direct interaction with the target adenine from the structural studies of Erm protein ErmC'. But in DNA methyltarnsferase M. Taq I, this interaction have been identified biochemically and from the complex structure with substrate. Arginine 223 and 227 in this sequence are not conserved among Erm proteins, but because of the basic nature of residues, it was expected to interact with RNA substrates. Two amino acid residues were replaced with Ala by site-directed mutagenesis. Two mutant proteins still maintained its activity in vivo and resistant to the antibiotic erythromycin. Compared to the wild-type ErmSF, R223A and R227A proteins retained about 50% and 88% of activity in vitro, respectively. Even though those arginine residues are not essential in the catalytic step, with their positive charge they may play an important role for RNA binding.

  • 반도체 및 평판표시장치(Flat Panel Display) 공정에서 필수적으로 사용되는 박막 두께 측정기를 개발하였다. 측정방식은 FPP법의 dual configuration 측정원리를 적용하였으며 측정범위는 수 nm ~수십 ${\mu}m$이다. 순수한 금속 박막에 대하여 측정이 가능하며 박막 시료의 표면에 probe를 접촉시키면 두께가 자동 측정 되므로 박막 시료의 측정위치에 관계없이 누구나 쉽고 정확하게 사용할 수 있다. 저항 측정기능에서 재현성과 반복성 및 직선성은 0.1 % 이하의 불확도 범위에서 우수한 특성을 나타냈다.

  • 병행 자바 프로그램의 슬라이싱 방법은 Jianjun Zhao에 의해 제안된 다중 쓰레드 종속성 그래프를 이용하여 Susan Horwitz, Thomas Reps, David Binkly가 제안한 2단계 마킹 알고리즘을 적용하여 슬라이스를 계산한다. 다중 쓰레드 종속성 그래프를 이용하는 방법은 쓰레드동기화 문장들 사이의 동기화 종속성과 서로 다른 쓰레드에 존재하는 공유객채들 사이의 통신 종속성 관계를 표현하여 병행 자바 프로그램의 슬라이스를 계산할 수 있는 것이다. 그러나 프로그램 종속성 그래프를 기반으로 하기 때문에 클래스 맴버 변수들에 대한 formal_in, formal_out, actual_in, actual_out정점들의 추가로 그래프의 복잡도가 증가하고 또한 부정확한 슬라이스 계산을 위한 다중 쓰레드 종속성 그래프를 개선하여 제안한다. 제안하는 개선된 다중 쓰레드 종속성 그래프는 주어진 슬라이싱 기준에 대한 2단계 마킹 알고리즘을 적용한 결과 정확한 슬라이스 계산과 복잡도 개선을 확인하였다.

  • 지금까지 우리나라 관개용 댐의 용수이용은 논관개 용수 위주의 관개용수가 대부분을 차지하고 있으며, 생공용수, 하천유지용수가 일부 차지하고 있다. 그러나 농촌생활 환경 변화나 인구 증가 같은 사회적 변화, 생활수준 향상 등으로 인하여 관개뿐만 아니라 생활 공업용수, 하천유지용수, 관광용수와 같은 다목적용수의 공급을 요구 받고 있다. 특히 최근 관개용 댐의 용수이용이 농업용수에서 환경용수를 포함한 농촌용수로 그 개념이 변해 가면서 환경용수의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 비교적 용수량이 풍부한 성주저수지를 대상으로 물수지 분석과 용수 이용의 분석 등을 통하여 현재 공급하고 있는 환경용수량을 평가하고, 저수지 운영에 영향을 주지 않는 환경용수량의 공급가능 규모에 대해 연구하였다.

  • The demand for safety and reliability of Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) has been constantly increasing and economical operation is also an important issue. Developing and adopting predictive maintenance technology for the major systems or equipment is considered as one way to achieve these goals. This paper suggests the predictive maintenance methodology that can be applied to NPPs and describes a sample application of the Rod Control System (RCS) to verify the effectiveness of the methodology. It is expected that the same methodology can be adopted for other systems of NPPs and general industry fields when its effectiveness is verified.

  • 전기부문 표준품셈은 전기공사의 예정가격 산정시 가격결정의 기초자료로 활용됨은 물론 적정공사비 반영을 통한 부실시공방지 및 전기공사의 질적 향상과 전기공사업계의 건전한 발전을 유도하고 나아가 국가산업발전에도 큰 영향을 미치는 중요한 기준이나 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 그 제 개정 절차가 표준화 되어 있지 않는 바, 전기부문 표준품셈 제 개정절차, 표준품셈 실사시 여유율적용 필요성, 여유율 적용요소, 적용사례 등 국내외 관련 자료를 수집 검토하여 합리적인 적용기준(안)을 제시하고자 한다.
