$WN_x$ Self-Align Gate GaAs LDD MESFET의 제작 및 특성 (Fabrication and its characteristics of $WN_x$ self-align gate GaAs LDD MESFET)

  • We have developed a refractory WNx self-aligned gate GaAs metal-semiconductor field-effect transistor(MESFET) using $SiO_2$ side-wall process. The MESFET hasa fully ion-implanted, planar, symmetric self-alignment structure, and it is quite suitable for integration. The uniform trans-conductance of 354nS/mm up to Vgs=+0.6V and the saturation current of 171mA/mm were obtained. As high as 43GHz of cut-off frequency hs been realized without any de-embedding of parasitic effects. The refractory WNx self-aligned gate GaAs MESFET technology is one of the most promising candidates for realizing linear power amplifier ICs and multifunction monolithic ICs for use in the digital mobile communication systems such as hand-held phone(HHP), personal communication system (PCS) and wireless local loop(WLL).

  • 현재 국내 5개의 이동통신 회사들은 각각 다른 markup-language와 플랫폼 및 컨텐츠들을 사용하여 무선인터넷 서비스를 하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 무선인터넷 환경에서 서로 다른 무선 인터넷 플랫폼의 통합 컨텐츠에 관한 연구와 개발의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 HTML 문서의 분석을 통해 WML과 HDML, M-HTML, C-HTML 등으로 자동 변환하는 유무선 플랫폼 통합 컨텐츠 변환기를 설계하여 다양한 플랫폼 상의 무선 인터넷 컨텐츠 개발 시 유지 및 보수가 용이하도록 하고자 한다.

  • Earthquake is a natural disaster accompanied by damage of human and properties caused by the ground motion, crustal movements, faults as well as tidal wave. The earthquake is known to occur mostly in earthquake-prone areas and the Korean Peninsula is known to be relatively safe in terms of geological characteristics. In order to withstand on severe environmental dynamic random load such as an earthquake, the large structure need to be designed to withstand the anticipated seismic tremor. The seismetic design is essential for building structures, bridges, and large structures which is handles explosive gases. Thus, the necessity of earthquake resistant analysis for large structure is growing and the capability of dynamic analysis should be obtained. In this thesis, dynamic responses of a high building(height 60m, width 18) which subjected to random earthquake load are presented which responses are derived using dynamic analysis methods such as response spectrum analysis, mode superposition and direct integration. Each results are also compared to review the merit of each methods.

  • Lilium cv. Casablanca pollen grains stored at $-70^{\circ}C$ were grown in pollen germination medium with Agrobacterium tumefaciens LBA4404 cells harboring pBI121 for 18 hr at $27^{\circ}C$. Following this, cefotaxime (250 mg/L) was treated for 6 hr to eradicate the bacterial cells. Histochemical GUS analysis revealed that the transgenic pollen displayed deep blue color mostly from 12 hr after the co-cultivation. Presence of $200\;{\mu}M$ acetosyringone was determined not to be more effective for GUS transformation than its absence. GUS DNA integration in the transgenic pollen genomic DNA was clearly demonstrated by Southern blot analysis.

  • This paper introduces mono-implicit general linear methods, a special class of general linear methods, which are implicit in the output solution for the numerical integration of differential algebraic equations. We show how L-stable inherent Runge-Kutta members can be derived. The procedures for implementation have been discussed. The numerical test on the problem considered shows that the methods have improved accuracy when compared to RADAU IIA and the results from MATLAB ode15s, which have been taken as our reference solution.

  • The interest in implicit-explicit (IMEX) integration methods has emerged as an alternative for dealing in a computationally cost-effective way with stiff ordinary differential equations arising from practical modeling problems. In this paper, we introduce implicit-explicit second derivative linear multi-step methods (IMEX SDLMM) with error control. The proposed IMEX SDLMM is based on second derivative backward differentiation formulas (SDBDF) and recursive SDBDF. The IMEX second derivative schemes are constructed with order p ranging from p = 1 to 8. The methods are numerically validated on well-known stiff equations.

  • This paper introduces a low-cost, high-performance mmWave antenna array module at 77 GHz. Conventional waveguide transitions have been replaced by 3D CPW-microstrip transitions which are much simpler to realize. They are compatible with low-cost substrate fabrication processes, allowing easy integration of ICs in 3D multi-chip modules. An antenna array is designed and implemented using multilayer coupled-fed patch antenna technology. The proposed $16{\times}16$ array antenna has a fractional bandwidth of 8.4% (6.5 GHz) and a 23.6-dBi realized gain at 77 GHz.

  • Research on 4A(Any-time, Any-where, Any-device, Any-contents) services for the next-generation multimedia services is developed with the trend of the integration of wire and wireless networks and the convergence of telecommunications and broadcasting. In this paper we proposed a design of SVC(Scalable Video Coding) overlay multicast mechanism which can provide typical next-generation multimedia services such as SVC streaming. A novel overlay multicast algorithm called ACK-Flow tree optimization algorithm is proposed to guarantee SVC streaming with high efficiency.

HCI 가상화 기술을 이용한 기업 전산환경 통합효과 분석 (An Analysis of the Effects of Enterprise Computing Environment Integration Using HCI Virtualization Technology)

  • 본 논문은 기업의 중요 정보를 내부에 저장하면서도 스토리지, 컴퓨팅 및 네트워크를 단일 시스템으로 통합한 HCI(Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) 기반의 On-premises 가상화 인프라를 기업에 도입했을 때의 효과를 검증한다. 150여 대의 물리 서버를 운영하는 기업에서 신규 시스템에 대해서 HCI 가상화 기반의 인프라를 도입하여 물리 서버 대비 약 35%의 구축비용을 절감하고, 기본 사용 연수인 5년간의 유지보수 비용은 약 59%의 절감효과를 예상할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 HCI 가상화 기술을 통해 정보기술이 기업 비즈니스 성패에 큰 영향을 주는 4차산업 혁명 시대에 기업의 총 IT 소유비용(TCO)을 절감할 수 있음은 물론, 빠른 비즈니스 변화에 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 인프라를 구성할 수 있음을 시사했다. 또한 가상화로 전환을 망설이는 기업에는 실질적인 효과를 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 그리드는 분산된 이기종 자원을 활용하는 컴퓨팅 패러다임으로 초기 그리드 자원을 활용하기 위한 표준으로 OGSA(Open Grid Service Architecture)가 제안되었다. 글로버스 툴킷3은 사용자가 OGSA에 표준에 맞게 그리드를 구성할 수 있는 기능을 제공했다. 하지만 그 이후 웹 서비스 표준의 발전에 따라 그에 맞는 새로운 표준인 WSRF(Web Service Resource Framework)가 정의 되었고, 현재 WSRF 표준에 따라서 GT4가 개발되어 발표된 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존의 OGSA 표준에 맞게 구축된 그리드 정보검색 서비스들을 WSRF 표준에 맞도록 새로운 표준 인터페이스를 정립하고, OGSA-DAI(Data Access & Integration) 컴포넌트를 통한 데이터 관리 기능을 추가함으로써 새로운 그리드 정보검색 서비스 프로토타입을 정의하고자 한다.
