Simplified Methodology to Generate 2D/3D Object in 4D system for Civil Engineering Projects (토목시설물 4D구현을 위한 2D/3D 객체 생성 간편화 기법)

  • This study attempts to develop a skeleton model to link construction schedule and 3D object for drawings in 4D system. Generally, the construction schedule and 3D object can be linked in 4D system by imported files which are made in specific S/Ws such as CAD S/W and scheduling S/W. Those methods have a difficulties for operating 4D data because extra work needs to link 4D data for each activity. This study develops a 4D model which the 4D data can be self-generated within the system. The suggested model can reduce the initial input data for new project by integrating schedule and 3D object in 4D system.

  • Deep drilling project should be managed systematically and efficiently because it is significantly influenced by various related factors having uncertainty and high risk in terms of economy and effective management. In particular, drilling project involves participants from various sectors including necessary service company and it also needs their collaboration by sharing related information occurring at drilling process in order to secure efficient performance management. We developed 4D (3D + time) information based visualization system for progress management by combining 3D design model and predicted optimized control parameters for each section in geothermal well design. We also applied PDM (precedence diagramming method) to the system in order to setup the effective process model and hooked it up to 3D information based on precedence relation and required time for informatized process network.

  • 제조 산업에서 키워드로 많이 다뤄지는 4M데이터(man, method, machine, martial)는 생산에 효율성을 높이기 위한 중요한 요소이다. 규모가 작은 기업일수록 4M관련 데이터 관리가 잘 안되고 있다. 관리를 잘하는 기업이라도 수집하고 저장만 하고 있는 현실이다. 본 논문에서는 수집하고 저장되어 있는 4M데이터를 활용해 생산한 상품에 대한 생산당시 상황을 추적할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템을 이용해 생산라인의 상황을 한 눈에 파악이 가능하고 주로 문제가 발생하는 공정과 관련 요인 파악을 통해 불량률을 줄이는 연구를 할 수 있다.

  • Manufacturing execution system is a factory information system that handles production-related quality data as well as executes production plans of process unit for all resources in the production process on site. As the 4th industrial revolution, which maximizes an automation and connectivity with artificial intelligence, has become a hot topic, manufacturers are showing interest in building a smart factories, but enormous construction costs and unstandardized production processes are obstacles to smart factory construction. Therefore, this paper designs and implements a manufacturing execution system for building a smart factory in a deterioration factory. we propose a Web-based manufacturing execution system aiming at a smart factory at the basic level for steel wire processing. The proposed system will smoothly support interworking with the existing ERP system using REST APIs, and will consider extensibility so that it can be used in various devices and browsers. We will show practicality by implementing the proposed WoT-based manufacturing execution system.

Application of Linear Schedule Chart by Linking Location Information of Construction Project with Horizontal Work Space (수평작업공간을 갖는 건설프로젝트의 위치정보 연동에 의한 선형공정표 적용방안)

  • Since the building construction works are repeated vertically in a limited space, there is not a great need for the location information of each activity in the schedule management. On the other hand, civil engineering works such as road and railway projects consist of a large number of earthworks, long bridges, and long tunnels. These types of work should be controlled in a horizontal space according to the linear axis of several tens of kilometers. In other words, since most of the activities are managed in the unit of distance from the start point to the end point, it is possible to improve the efficiency of the schedule management by linking the location information of the activity with the schedule data in the schedule management system. This study presents a methodology for creating a linear schedule chart specific to a project with horizontal work space and compares the convenience with the existing Gantt chart. In addition, the methodology of linking linear schedule chart to the 4D CAD system, which is a typical BIM technology in the construction phase, is presented to improve the usability of BIM. The practical applicability of the proposed methodology was verified statistically.

  • 최근 4차 산업혁명이 이슈가 되면서 빅 데이터나 인공지능에 대한 연구가 활발해지고, 이를 통해 자동화 및 자율화가 제조 공정이나 차량 운행 등에서 활용되고 있다. 또한 이를 위해서 데이터를 분석하고 정제하며 시각화를 효과적으로 하는 방법에 대한 관심도 같이 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자동화 공장의 제품을 관리함에 있어 데이터를 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 시각화하는 방법에 대한 연구를 수행했다. 이를 위해 D3 자바스크립트 라이브러리를 통해 웹기반으로 구현한 제품과 장애를 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 시스템을 개발했다. 제안하는 관리 시스템은 자동화 공장의 제조 공정 중 제품이나 장애 상황에 대한 이해를 빠르게 하도록 하여 의사결정 하는데 기여할 것이다.

  • Most current BIM systems are focused on the visual information of work status in the design and construction stages. In a passive BIM system, 3D CAD tool can visualize the interference elements of design drawings, however, it cannot suggest a solution to solve the interference status. And 4D CAD tool in the construction stage can simulate the appearance of each activity by construction schedule, however, it cannot suggest an optimized schedule plan considering specified schedule condition of the project. Recently, many organizations need BIM solutions that can improve the work status beyond the level of simple visual information from BIM system. Active BIM system can provide the solutions to the project manager. This study suggests active BIM functions for the solutions and attempts to develop a 4D CAD engine to validate the usability of the functions.

  • A number of construction projects tied to the concerns and decision-making is also very complicated. In addition, more than any other industry, is inherent in many risk factors. In the course of the construction project on risk factors that exist in the early stages of project risk factors to predict in advance and prepare a project by shortening the construction period and project cost as you can to maximize performance. In this study, I proposed risk management processes and how they are used in web-based schedule risk in the process of change management system, and between 3D CAD, 4D CAD taking into account the linkages, risk management strategy process in the BIM environment.
