Developing Trip Generation Models Considering Land Use Characteristics (토지이용 특성을 반영한 통행발생모형 추정 연구)

  • In the traditional four-step travel demand models, each step is sequentially conducted following the model estimation at the previous step. The accuracy of the following model is partly dependent on whether the model at the former stage was properly established or not. Therefore, trip generation, which is the first step in this conventional model, has great effects on the modeling process and forecasting results. Linear regression models for trip generation of Seoul Metropolitan Area might increase the forcasting errors, since a variety of land-use characteristics are not considered. Hence, in this study, zonal factors such as socioeconomic and land use variables are included to improve the elaboration of trip generation. Comparing the %RMSE with the existing models, which contain bigger errors in the zones highly based on the secondary and tertiary industries than residence-based, the trip generation models including those variables seem more appropriate overall.

The Three-Stage Stratified Unrelated Question Model (층화 3단계 무관질문모형)

  • For procuring more sensitive information and estimating stratum target population proportion as well as an overall one form a sensitive population composed of several strata we suggest a two-stage stratified unrelated question model that uses stratified random sampling instead of simple random sampling in the two-stage unrelated question model by Kim et al. (1992) and extend it to the three-stage stratified unrelated question model. We also deal with the proportional and optimal allocation problems in each suggested model, compare the relative efficiency of the suggested two models, and show that the three-stage stratified unrelated question model is more efficient than the two-stage one in view of the variance.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 기술가치평가모형들을 검토하여 문제점과 한계를 찾아내고, 이를 극복할 뿐만 아니라, 기술의 실제가치에 접근하고자 새로운 시도를 하였다. 먼저 1단계에서는 DCF 모형을 이용하여 사업가치를 계산하고, 2단계에서는 사업가치에서 무형자산이 차지하는 비율이 산업별로 서로 다를 것이라는 가정아래 사업가치 창출에 대한 무형자산의 기여도를 구했다. 그리고 3단계에서는 전체 사업가치 창출에서 기술의 기여가 차지하는 비중을 측정하는 기술의 기여도를 구했다. 이렇게 3단계에 걸쳐 얻은 결과를 동시에 고려하여 기술가치를 산출하였다. 그리고 마지막 4단계에서는 전 단계에서 고려되지 못했던 미래수익 창출의 불확실성을 반영하기 위해 실물옵션모형을 적용하였다. 이와 같이 평가과정을 4단계로 구분하고, 각 단계별로 평가의 특성에 맞는 방법을 채택함으로써, 기존의 평가모형이 가지고 있었던 문제점과 한계를 극복하고, 불확실성이 높은 기술자산의 실제가치에 보다 근접할 수 있었다.

An Empirical Study on the Clustering Measurement and Trend Analysis among the Asian Ports Using the Context-dependent and Measure-specific Models (컨텍스트의존 모형 및 측정특유 모형을 이용한 아시아항만들의 클러스터링 측정 및 추세분석에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to show the clustering trend by using the context-dependent and measure-specific models for 38 Asian ports during 10 years(2001-2009) with 4 inputs and 1 output. The main empirical results of this paper are as follows. First, clustering results by using context-dependent and measure-specific models are same. Second, the most efficient clustering was shown among the Hong Kong, Singapore, Ningbo, Guangzhou, and Kaosiung ports. Third, Port Sultan Qaboos, Jeddah, and Aden ports showed the lowest level clustering. Fourth, ranking order of attractiveness is Guangzhou, Dubai, HongKong, Ningbo, and Shanghai, and the results of progressive scores confirmed that low level ports can increase their efficiency by benchmarking the upper level ports. Fifth, benchmark share showed that Dubai(birth length), and HongKong(port depth, total area, and no. of cranes) have affected the efficiency of the inefficient ports.

Integrated Trip Distribution/Mode Choice Model and Sensitivity Analysis (통행분포/수단선택 통합모형 및 민감도분석)

  • Trip distribution is the second step of the conventional travel demand estimation process, which connects trips between origin and destination, while transport mode choice is the third step of the process, which chooses transport mode among several modes serving for each origin-destination pair. Although these two steps have closely connected, they have been estimated independently each other in the estimation procedure. This paper presents an integrated model combining trip distribution and transport mode choice, and also presents its solution algorithm. The model integrates gravity model adopted for the trip distribution process with logit model employed for the mode choice process. The model would be expected to cope with the inconsistency issue existing in the conventional travel demand estimation procedure. This paper also presents an equilibrium condition, sensitivity of the model, and compares them with those of existing models.

  • In this study, we developed Internet Based Problem Solving Learning Model based on difficulty of internet based problem solving teaching and learning. For these, firstly we developed 7 Steps Problem Solving Model applying ICT-EUS into proper step. Next, we developed Internet Based Problem Solving Learning Model reflecting 7 Steps Problem Solving Model and searched an outline and characteristics of support system to apply the model into instruction. The teaching and learning model is composed of four steps of (1) design (2) preparation (3) teaching and learning execution (4) management, and 7 Steps Problem Solving Model is the core of teaching and learning execution step. The 7 Steps Problem Solving Model and Internet Based Problem Solving Learning Model are not for functional use but for general use. In other words they can be used commonly in all subjects.

  • The purpose of the study was to develop a practical arts textbook for creative problem solving abilities in elementary school. In this study the practical arts textbook and teacher's guide has the following characteristics: they were developed to promote creative problem-solving ability, and to instill curiosity and interest about the subject matter. The procedure for the development of the practical arts textbook for creative problem solving abilities is composed of 4 steps; the planning and preparation stage, the research and developmental stage, the writing and compilation stage and the deliberation and improvement stage. This procedure for the development of a textbook can apply to both government published textbooks and to authorized textbooks. The validity of the writing and compilation stage's practical arts textbook developed model is the highest at 4.21, followed by the research and developmental stage's average, at 4.14. Among the textbook's stages of development, the importance of the deliberation and improvement stage averages the lowest, at 3.50.

Development of hybrid stochastic model for rainfall generation considering rainfall inter-annual variability (연간 강우 변동성을 고려한 혼합 추계 강우 생성 모형의 개발)

  • 본 연구에서는 1시간부터 1년 단위의 강우 특성들을 잘 모의하는 혼합 추계 강우 생성 모형을 개발하였다. 본 모형의 가상 강우 생성 과정은 4단계로 이루어진다. 첫 단계에서 Seasonal ARIMA 모형을 통하여 시계열 특성을 반영한 월 강우를 생성한다. 두 번째 단계는 생성된 월 강우에 해당하는 일 단위 이하의 강우 통계치 세트를 생성하는 것이며, 통계치간 상관관계를 통해 평균, 표준편차, 자기상관 계수, 무강우 확률을 생성한다. 생성된 통계치 세트는 세 번째 단계에서 Modified Bartlett-Lewis Rectangular Pulse (MBLRP) 모형의 6개의 매개변수를 보정하는데 사용되며, 마지막으로 MBLRP 매개변수 세트를 통해 가상 강우 시계열을 생성한다. 위 모형을 통해 미국 동부 지역 29개 강우 관측소에 대하여 200년 길이의 가상 강우를 생성하였으며, 그 결과 시 단위부터 연 단위까지 강우의 1차, 2차 통계치 및 무강우 확률을 성공적으로 재현하였다. 또한 기존 MBLRP 모형에 비하여 극한 강우 사상을 재현하는 능력이 향상되었다. 빈도분석 결과를 통하여 MBLRP 모형이 재현기간에 따라 10%에서부터 40%까지 극한 사상을 과소 추정한 반면, 본 모형에서는 20% 이내의 값을 나타내었다.

Development of a Mentorship Education Model for the Gifted of the Science Education Institute (과학영재교육원 사사교육을 위한 모형 개발)

  • This study was performed to develop a model for mentorship education in the science education institute for the gifted. Existing mentorship education models were focused on R&E, which involved science high school students as research participants. For this purpose, a new model was proposed with comparatively definite stages and terms, and based on the theoretical background concerning science inquiry abilities and scientific creativities or the mentorship education in the science education institute for the gifted. Existing mentorship models for science-gifted students were analyzed and compared with the scientific inquiry process and science paper form. A science paper form consisting of four stages was selected. A new model was constructed consisting of six stages, and this model was modified to be made fit for application to students in the physics mentorship course at the science education institute for the gifted in K National University. Good points and improvable points of the model through the application were identified, and the model was modified accordingly. In conclusion, a new model was proposed as a mentorship model for science-gifted students. This model was constructed using the PREPARATION-INTRODUCTION-METHOD-RESULT-CONCLUSION-FINISH format.

Identification Model Development for Gifted Students Based on Class Observations and Nominations (영재학급 대상자 선발을 위한 관찰.추천 영재판별모형 개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an identification model for gifted students, based on class observations and nominations. The definition, issues and methods of identification were examined to achieve the research goal. Gifted identification model based on class observations and nominations consists of 4 steps: The first is the collection of multidimensional information on students, and the second is the evaluation of the students' portfolios with the rubric that has the criteria of rating scales on each information. At the third, students are observed in the class. Then the students are interviewed for the evaluation of their cognitive and non-cognitive characteristics. At the fourth, the identification committee makes a final decision for the selection of gifted students, after considering all the results from the steps. This model will be helpful to identify gifted students who are regarded to have potential abilities, especially economically disadvantaged students.
