Recently, along with the development of IT, the non-linearity and enlargement in the response to the combination of the building industry and IT have made a wide variety in outer shapes of the buildings. So buildings need a more accurate representation using visually superior three-dimensional space information. Therefore, the study models the shapes of the other buildings in accordance with the heights. Frist of all, we measured the buildings using a Terrestrial LiDAR. Second, we obtained a high-density point cloud date of the buildings. Through this data, we made the BIM model and compared the heights of each floor's outer information layers. And then identified the BIM data status using IFC standards formats. From this data, it proposes a new 3D cadastre and the alternative for the establishment of spatial information.
Recently, studies of image analysis, as the preprocessing stage for medical image analysis or image retrieval, are actively carried out. This paper intends to propose a way of utilizing color components for image retrieval. For image retrieval, it is based on color components, and for analysis of color, CLCM (Color Level Co-occurrence Matrix) and statistical techniques are used. CLCM proposed in this paper is to project color components on 3D space through geometric rotate transform and then, to interpret distribution that is made from the spatial relationship. CLCM is 2D histogram that is made in color model, which is created through geometric rotate transform of a color model. In order to analyze it, a statistical technique is used. Like CLCM, GLCM (Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix)[1] and Invariant Moment [2,3] use 2D distribution chart, which use basic statistical techniques in order to interpret 2D data. However, even though GLCM and Invariant Moment are optimized in each domain, it is impossible to perfectly interpret irregular data available on the spatial coordinates. That is, GLCM and Invariant Moment use only the basic statistical techniques so reliability of the extracted features is low. In order to interpret the spatial relationship and weight of data, this study has used Principal Component Analysis [4,5] that is used in multivariate statistics. In order to increase accuracy of data, it has proposed a way to project color components on 3D space, to rotate it and then, to extract features of data from all angles.

In this paper, we proposed an effective technique for hiding the watermark in the LSB of a color image by applying spatial encryption techniques. Even if the watermark hidden in the LSB of the image is extracted, the information of the extracted watermark cannot be decrypted because the watermark is encrypted using various spatial encryption techniques. Therefore, if the watermark is concealed in the LSB using the spatial encryption techniques proposed in this paper, the security is greatly improved compared to the existing technique of embedding the watermark in the LSB. When watermarking is performed by applying the proposed technique, the image quality of the watermark-concealed image is very good, so it is impossible to distinguish it from the original image, and the watermark, which is confidential data, can be extracted from the watermarked image without loss. The performance of the proposed technique was mathematically analyzed and the superiority of the proposed technique was confirmed through experiments. When the watermark was concealed by applying the proposed technique to Lenna, airplane, Tiffany, and pepper images having a size of 512×512, the PSNR values of the watermarked images were 53.91dB, 54.10dB, 54.09dB, and 54.13dB, respectively.

An extensive data base of HRTFs (Head Related Transfer Functions) has been established in order to work with high qualifies of 3D acoustic appliances. The basic specifications of the measurement presented are that a spatial resolution of 10$^{\circ}$ in elevation angles (ranging from -40$^{\circ}$ to 90$^{\circ}$) and uniform spatial resolution of 5$^{\circ}$ in azimuth angles. The distance from the measurement sources to the centre of the dummy head is 2m and the sampling frequency is 48 kHz and the quantisation depth is 24-bits. The data is presented for three arrangements of pinna models (large, small and no pinna) which were combined with the open and blocked ear canal cases to give a total of 6 sets of measurements. The data base may contribute to show promise of providing useful applications of 3D sound.

Recently, 3D-reconstruction for geographic information and study of geospatial information is progressing in various fields through national policy such as R&D business and pilot project. LiDAR system has a advantage of acquisition the 3D information data easily and densely so that is used in many different fields. Considering to characterist of the point data formed with 3D, it need a high specification CPU because it requires a number of processing operation for 2D form expressed by monitor. In contrast, 2D grid structure, like DEM, has a advantage on costs because of simple structure and processing speed. Therefore, purpose of this study is to solve the problem of requirement of more storage space, when LiDAR data stored in forms of 3D is used for 3D-geographic and 3D-buliding representation. Additionally, This study reconstitutes 2D-gird data to supply the representation data of 3D-geographic and presents the storage method which is available for detailed representation applying tree-structure and reduces the storage space.

The generation of 3D models for freeform buildings is an important task while continuous monitoring of the related spatial information at different time phases. Realistic models of freeform building have to provide high geometric accuracy and detail at an effective data size.(Al-kheder, S. 2008) The efficiency of this image-based technique has been increased considerably by the development of digital technologies. Furthermore, 3D data collection based on laser scanning has become an high quality 3D models for construction site. Therefore, in this research, we have an effort to review construction methods to make freeform envelope of building using 3D scanning technology.
Automatic large scale soil model generation is very critical stage for earthquake hazard simulation of urban areas. Manual model development may cause some data losses and may not be effective when there are too many data from different soil observations in a wide area. Geographic information systems (GIS) for storing and analyzing spatial data help scientists to generate better models automatically. Although the original soil observations were limited to soil profile data, the recent developments in mapping technology, interpolation methods, and remote sensing have provided advanced soil model developments. Together with advanced computational technology, it is possible to handle much larger volumes of data. The scientists may solve difficult problems of describing the spatial variation of soil. In this study, an algorithm is proposed for automatic three dimensional soil and velocity model development of southern part of the European side of Istanbul next to Sea of Marmara based on GIS data. In the proposed algorithm, firstly bedrock surface is generated from integration of geological and geophysical measurements. Then, layer surface contacts are integrated with data gathered in vertical borings, and interpolations are interpreted on sections between the borings automatically. Three dimensional underground geology model is prepared using boring data, geologic cross sections and formation base contours drawn in the light of these data. During the preparation of the model, classification studies are made based on formation models. Then, 3D velocity models are developed by using geophysical measurements such as refraction-microtremor, array microtremor and PS logging. The soil and velocity models are integrated and final soil model is obtained. All stages of this algorithm are carried out automatically in the selected urban area. The system directly reads the GIS soil data in the selected part of urban area and 3D soil model is automatically developed for large scale earthquake hazard simulation studies.

Today, ubiquitous technology (e.g. computers or networked devices pervade everywhere we are) has enlarged by great advancement of information and communication technologies. If ubiquitous technologies is applied to, innovation of spatial information technology is expected. traditional spatial information technologies such as survey, GIS, GPS, LBS, and RS and ubiquitous technology gradual1y have been converged. The aim of this study is to create shared visions in spatial information technologies by scenario based roadmapping. So, we surveyed the state of the art in main spatial information technologies, market status and patent map. Consequently, prospects of spatial information technologies is suggested. The aim of 1st and 2nd NGIS project focused on map supplier was to develop digital map(e.g. framework data, various thematic map). As a result, the best technology of digital mapping is achieved in the world. But, there is not enough to develop GIS and LBS solution. Current market in GIS S/W and Telematics is about 384billon won and 250billion won. a patent is applied in the order, like a USA(1571case, 47%), Japan(883case, 26%), EU(478case, 14%), Korea(446case, 13%). In the future, spatial information technology fused on ubiquitous technology will be focused on user's demand and developing convenience context. The developing target will be realtime monitoring of 3D spatial data based on high resolution coordinate system, sharing and supplying multi-sensor data considered users demand, location service by ubiquitous technologies.
This study aims for generating a city spatial model required for the creation of a 3D noise map. In this study, we propose an efficient method to generate 3D models of the terrain and buildings using only a digital map and draft maps previously established without using any sensory data. The terrain model is generated by interpolating into a grid the elevation values derived from both the contour lines and the elevation point of the digital map. Building model is generated by combining the 2D building boundaries and the building elevations extracted from the digital map and the draft map, respectively. This method has been then applied to a digital map and three sets of draft maps created in the different times. covering the entire area of Yeongdeungpo-gu. The generated city spatial model has been successfully utilized for the noise analysis and the 3D visualization of the analysis results.

The study aims to propose a method that shall rapidly acquire 3D spatial information of the frequently changing city areas by using the low altitude aerial images taken by the UAV. The artificial 3D model of the artificial structures was constructed using the aerial image data photographed at the test area, calibration data of the non-metric camera and the results of the ground control point survey. Also, the digital surface model was created for areas that were changed due to a number of civil works. Through the above studies, the possibilities of constructing a 3D virtual city model, renewal of 3D GIS database, abstraction of changed information in geographic features and on-demand updating of the digital map were suggested.
