자동차 부품 형상 결함 탐지를 위한 측정 방법 개발 (Development of An Inspection Method for Defect Detection on the Surface of Automotive Parts)

  • Over the past several years, many studies have been carried out in the field of 3D data inspection systems. Several attempts have been made to improve the quality of manufactured parts. The introduction of laser sensors for inspection has made it possible to acquire data at a remarkably high speed. In this paper, a robust inspection technique for detecting defects in 3D pressed parts using laser-scanned data is proposed. Point cloud data are segmented for the extraction of features. These segmented features are used for shape matching during the localization process. An iterative closest point (ICP) algorithm is used for the localization of the scanned model and CAD model. To achieve a higher accuracy rate, the ICP algorithm is modified and then used for matching. To enhance the speed of the matching process, aKd-tree algorithm is used. Then, the deviation of the scanned points from the CAD model is computed.

  • In this paper, an integrated approach is proposed to generate gouging-free Cartesian tool paths for machining sculptured surfaces from 3D measurement data. The integrated CAD/CAM system consists of two modules : offset surface module an Carteian tool path module. The offset surface module generates an offset surface of an object from its 3D measurement data, using an offsetting method and a surface fitting method. The offsetting is based on the idea that the envelope of an inversed tool generates an offset surface without self-intersection as the center of the inversed tool moves along on the surface of an object. The surface-fitting is the process of constructing a compact representation to model the surface of an object based on a fairly large number of data points. The resulting offset surtace is a composite Bezier surface without self-intersection. When an appropriate tool-approach direction is selected, the tool path module generates the Cartesian tool paths while the deviation of the tool paths from the surface stays within the user-specified tolerance. The tool path module is a two-step process. The first step adaptively subdivides the offset surface into subpatches until the thickness of each subpatch is small enough to satisfy the user-defined tolerance. The second step generates the Cartesian tool paths by calculating the intersection of the slicing planes and the adaptively subdivided subpatches. This tool path generation approach generates the gouging-free Cartesian CL tool paths, and optimizes the cutter movements by minimizing the number of interpolated points.

FCM을 이용한 3차원 영상 정보의 패턴 분할 (The Pattern Segmentation of 3D Image Information Using FCM)

  • 본 논문은 공간 부호화 패턴들을 이용하여 3차원 얼굴 정보를 정확하게 측정하기 위하여 초기 얼굴 패턴 영상으로부터 이미지 패턴을 검출하기 위한 새로운 알고리즘을 제안한다. 획득된 영상이 불균일하거나 패턴의 경계가 명확하지 않으면 패턴을 분할하기가 어렵다. 그리고 누적된 오류로 인하여 코드화가 되지 않는 영역이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 요인에 강하고 코드화가 잘 될 수 있도록 FCM 클러스터링 방법을 이용하였다. 패턴 분할을 위하여 클러스터는 2개, 최대 반복횟수는 100, 임계값은 0.00001로 설정하여 실험하였다. 제안된 패턴 분할 방법은 기존 방법들(Otsu, uniform error, standard deviation, Rioter and Calvard, minimum error, Lloyd)에 비해 8-20%의 분할 효율을 향상시켰다.

  • 우리나라 연안에 분포되어 있는 주요 어업대상어종의 자원량을 측정하기 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위하여 남해동부연안에 분포하는 멸치어군을 대상으로 Split beam 어군탐지기를 이용하여 in situ TS를 측정한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 본 조사에서 어획물의 $95\%$가 멸치였으며, 그 체장빈도 분포는 체장범위 $13.6\~15.4cm$, 평균체장 14.4cm이었고, 체중빈도 분포는 체중범위 $16\~28g$ 평균체중 21.9 g이었다. 2. 멸치의 반사강도는 수심 $10\~30m$ 에서 $-40.7\~-69.2dB,\;30\~50m$, 수층에서 $-42.2\~-67.7dB,\;10\~50m$ 수층에서 $-42.2\~-67.7dB$의 범위였고, 그 빈도분포에는 2개의 mode가 명확하게 분리되어 나타났다. 3. 멸치의 평균반사강도는 -49.7 dB/fish 및 -33.1 dB/kg 이었으며, $90\%$ 신뢰구간은 1 dB 이하였다. 또한, 멸치의 반사강도 (TS)와 체장 (cm)과의 관계는 다음과 같았다. 컴퓨터 보조 기반 치아 지지 서지컬 템프레이트를 이용한 상악구치부 임플란트 식립 (Implant Fixture Installation in the Posterior Maxilla Using a Tooth-supported Surgical Template Based on Computer Assisted Treatment Planning)

  • Two patients with partial edentulous maxilla were scheduled to undergo installation of implant fixtures using a tooth-supported surgical template based on computer assisted treatment planning. After 3-dimensional (3D) computed tomographic scanning was transferred to the OnDemand3D (Cybermed Co., Seoul, Korea) software program for virtual planning, fixtures of MK III Groovy RP implant of the Br${\aa}$nemark System (Nobel Biocare AB Co., G$\ddot{o}$teborg, Sweden) was installed using the In2Guide (CyberMed Co., Seoul, Korea) tooth-supported surgical template with a Quick Guide Kit (Osstem Implant Co., Seoul, Korea) system in the posterior maxilla of each patient. Sinus floor elevation with a xenogenic bone graft procedure was also performed simultaneously in one patient. Fixture installations were completed successfully without complications, such as sinus mucosa perforation, bony bleedings, fenestrations, or others. During the last two-year follow-up period after prosthetics delivery, each implant was found to be fine with no other minor complications. The entire procedures are reported and the literatures on use of tooth-supported surgical template was reviewed.

한국인 아동의 비인두와 Adenoid성장에 관한 누년적 연구 (A LONGITUDINAL STUDY OF NASOPHARYNX AND ADENOID GROWTH OF KOREAN CHILDREN)

  • Since the fact was known that mouth breathing resulted from the adenoid hypertropy causes malocclusion, many investigators have studied nasopharynx and adenoid in order to clarify the role in relation to the effect on face and occlustion and the development of airway. The author analyzed 13 items in longitudinal cephalometric roentgenograms of 17 boys and 19 girls taken from the age of 7 to 12. The results were as follows. 1. The means and standard deviation for the measured items were obtained. 2. The continual growth of nasopharyngeal cavity was more affected by the height than the depth. 3. The size of adenoid was larger in males than in females, especially on R, $D-AD_2$. 4. Airway percentage was highest in boys at age 10 and girls at age 9. 5. The items showed significant differentiation between males and females were airway percentage, posterior height, $D-AD_1,\;D-AD_2$, and R.

  • 스택의 디자인과 운전조건을 최적화하여 PEMFC stack의 성능을 상당히 증진시킬수 있다. 그러한 결과로, 500시간의 DSS(Daily Start-up & Shutdown) 누적 운전후에 일별 운전성능은 조금의 편차가 있었지만 (0.02-0.9%), 스택의 성능은 거의 변화가 없음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 PEMFC 시스템의 상용화를 위해서는 스택의 수명 및 운전의 신뢰성을 향상시켜야 한다.

3D Head Modeling using Depth Sensor

  • Purpose We conducted a study on the reconstruction of the head's shape in 3D using the ToF depth sensor. A time-of-flight camera (ToF camera) is a range imaging camera system that resolves distance based on the known speed of light, measuring the time-of-flight of a light signal between the camera and the subject for each point of the image. The above method is the safest way of measuring the head shape of plagiocephaly patients in 3D. The texture, appearance and size of the head were reconstructed from the measured data and we used the SDF method for a precise reconstruction. Materials and Methods To generate a precise model, mesh was generated by using Marching cube and SDF. Results The ground truth was determined by measuring 10 people of experiment participants for 3 times repetitively and the created 3D model of the same part from this experiment was measured as well. Measurement of actual head circumference and the reconstructed model were made according to the layer 3 standard and measurement errors were also calculated. As a result, we were able to gain exact results with an average error of 0.9 cm, standard deviation of 0.9, min: 0.2 and max: 1.4. Conclusion The suggested method was able to complete the 3D model by minimizing errors. This model is very effective in terms of quantitative and objective evaluation. However, measurement range somewhat lacks 3D information for the manufacture of protective helmets, as measurements were made according to the layer 3 standard. As a result, measurement range will need to be widened to facilitate production of more precise and perfectively protective helmets by conducting scans on all head circumferences in the future.

악안면 3차원 계측시 컴퓨터 단층촬영과 두부 방사선 규격사진의 정확성 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of Accuracy between Computerized Tomography and Cephalogram for 3-Dimensional Measurement of Maxillofacial Structure)

  • 6개의 건조두개골상의 중요한 방사선학적 계측점에 금속구를 위치시킨 후 3-D CT와 정모 및 측모 두부 방사선사진을 촬영하고 이를 바탕으로 만든 각각의 3차원 영상과 3차원 두부 방사선사진상의 각 계측점들이 3차원적으로 어느 정도의 정확성을 가지고 재현되는지를 알아보았다. 그리고 두 방법에 있어서의 계측점간의 거리계측을 실계측과 비교분석 함으로써 악안면부에서의 재현성과 정확성을 알아본 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 3-D CT와 3차원 두부 방사선사진상의 계측점들은 반복 계측시 각각 X축 방향으로 0.23 mm와 0.30 mm, Y축 방향으로 0.27 mm와 0.25 mm, 그리고 Z축 방향으로 0.27 mm와 0.31 mm의 표준편차를 보였다. 두 방법에서 모든 계측점이 0.5 mm 이하의 표준편차를 보였으며, 대부분의 계측점이 1 mm 이하의 범위를 보인 바, 두 방법 모두 통일한 건조두개골상의 계측점의 3차원적 위치 편차가 거의 없었다. 모든 계측항목에서 실측치와 3-D CT간의 차이는 평균 0.33 mm였으며, 실측치와 3차원 두부 방사선사진간의 차이는 평균 1.13 mm로 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 가장 큰 차이를 보인 항목은 RGo과 LGo간으로 2.03 mm의 차이를 보였다. 그러나 두 방법 모두 모든 항목에서 실측치와 통계적으로 매우 높은 상관관계를 보였다(${\gamma}=0.976{\sim}1.000$, p<0.01).

불확실성 요소를 갖는 3D 크레인 시스템의 강인적응제어 (Robust Adaptive Control of 3D Crane Systems with Uncertainty)

  • This paper presents robust and adaptive control method for complicated three dimensional crane systems with uncertain effect. We consider an overhead crane system in which a trolly located on its top is moved to x- and y-axis independently. We first approximate the complicated crane model through linearization approach to simply construct a PD control and then design an adaptive control system for compensating modeling error and control deviation which is feasibly occurred due to system perturbation in practice. An adaptive control scheme is analytically derived using Lyapunov stability theory for a given bound of system perturbation. We accomplish numerical simulation for evaluation of the proposed control system and demonstrate its superiority comparing with the traditional control strategy.
