3차원 쉐이핑 기술을 활용한 스포츠 브래지어 개발 (Development of Sports Brassiere Pattern Using 3D Shaping Technology)

  • This study used 3D technology to develop a multi-functional sports brassiere with increased comfort and fit that can be worn as a base layer during exercise or as underwear. A 75A size industrial lingerie figure was used to develop a standard pattern. 3D tools for scanning and pattern making, such as Vivid 910, Geomagic Design X, 2C-AN and Yuka CAD were used. The sports brassiere was designed as a tank top style with dual structure and linings attached to a pad utilized with a sport brassiere mold cup. 3D outer and lining's pattern was differently developed in consideration of the body's curvature with pad's shape and structure. Shoulder and neck part reduction rates were adjusted to increase the neck areas fit that considered the nude pattern's structure due to uncomfortableness felt by wearers who were uncomfortable with the neck areas fit on existing brand products. The reduction rate was also set differently on each part. For example, the reduction rate on outer side panel was set strongly to increase the breast's volume. Two products, developed by a 3D sports brassiere and previously released product, were worn on 8 subjects in their 20's to evaluate fit, comfort, and purchase preferences. The evaluation proved that newly developed 3D products were superior to comparative products. The results of the clothing pressure measurement indicate that the newly developed sports brassiere's front part had less pressure on upper bust and shoulder areas compared to comparative products as well as showed less pressure on the back side, which shows improved wearing comfort compared to comparative products.

개더스커트 형상프로포션의 3차원적 해석 (Three-Dimensional Analysis of the Shapes of Gathered Skirts)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the proportion of gathered skirts using a three-dimensional measurement system. And in this experiment, we have attempted to accumulate three-dimensional data of wearing model and find out adequate methods for analyzing shape of clothes. The experimental design consists of two factorial designs. We established three different kinds of fabrics, ratio of gathers. The measurement tool for three-dimensional model was whole body 3D scanner(Exima-WBS2H). Analysis program used in experiment is RapidForm 2004 PP1 and Pattern Design 2000. Data analysis utilizes SPSS WIN 10.0 Package. As the results show, there were different effect of gather and proportion of shapes among the measurements of width, thickness and areas made by different lines of vision in cross-sectional silhouette. And there were difference shapes of section area at each part of gathered skirts between vertical-outline silhouette and vortical-plane silhouette made by gathering conditions. And also the cross-sectional silhouettes and vertical silhouettes were related to shape of clothes.

열가소성 플라스틱 재질과 3D 프린트 필라멘트 재질에 대한 방사선량 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Radiation Dose for Thermoplastic Material and 3D Print Filament Materials)

  • 본 연구는 방사선치료 시 사용하는 고정용구 인 열가소성 플라스틱 마스크를 3D 프린트로 제작하기 위한 선행 연구로써 열가소성 플라스틱을 대체할 수 있는 필라멘트 재질을 분석하고자 진행하였다. 시중에 상용화되어 있는 필라멘트 재질 중 열가소성 플라스틱 마스크와 특성이 유사한 재질을 선택하여 방사선량을 비교 분석하였다. 실험은 몬테칼로 시뮬레이션을 이용하였으며, 마스크가 두부를 고정한 형태를 ICRU구를 대상으로 모사하고 열가소성 플라스틱 재질과 필라멘트 재질을 적용하여 피부 Hp(0.07), 수정체 Hp(3), 전신 Hp(10) 지점에서 광자 플루언스를 계산하였다. 그 결과 열가소성 플라스틱 재질을 기준으로 상대적인 선량을 보면 차이가 4% 이내로 근사한 값을 나타내었으며, 가장 유사한 선량을 보인 재질은 PA-nylon으로 나타났다. 적절한 필라멘트 재질 선택에 있어서 경제성, 방사선 영향 등 다양한 조건을 종합적으로 고려하여 선택해야 할 것이며, 본 연구 결과를 기초적인 자료로써 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

  • 기초 지반상에 존재하는 3차원 골조구조물에 진동을 유발시키는 기계하중, 풍하중, 지진과 같은 동적 하중이 작용한다면, 지반-골조구조물 상호작용계의 동적거동을 해석하여야한다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 실제 구조물에 근접한 기하학적 형상으로 이상화 시키기 위해, 슬래브와 기초판은 유연성을 갖는 4-절점 판요소, 보.기둥은 2-절점 보요소, 탄성지반은 8-절점 입체요소를 사용하여 유한요소법으로 3차원 상호작용계를 해석하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 지반-골조구조물 상호작용계의 동적 거동을 해석하기 위해, 동적 운동 방정식을 정리한 후 유한요소 프로그램으로 상호작용계의 동적 거동을 해석하는 것이다.

Measurement of Drape Appearance Similarity between Real and Digital Stretch Fabric

  • This study aimed to visually compare the implementation of digital virtual fabrics for stretch fabrics mainly used in clothing that closely touch the body, using CLO. A digital fabric was used in CLO after measuring the weight, thickness, bending, and tensile force of five adhering clothing fabrics using a CLO fabric kit. The visual similarity of draftability was compared by measuring the area of the bending angle and the shape of the wrinkles of the real and digital fabric. A comparison of the bending angles showed that Fabric A was -0.75° and Fabric D was -2.5°, showing slightly lower drape properties than the real fabric. Meanwhile, Fabric B was 2.75°, Fabric C was 2.13°, and Fabric E was 1.375°, showing slightly higher drape properties in the vertical direction than the real fabric. Comparing the widths of the drape shapes, Fabric A was 0.77%, Fabric B was 1.27%, Fabric C was 0.06%, and Fabric E was 1.48%, which showed a slight difference. Fabric D showed a difference of 3.17% and was implemented where the digital fabric spread a little wider. As a result, the stretch fabric was visually expressed similarly to the real fabric as a whole in CLO. For 3D virtual clothing technology to be used widely in the close clothing industry in the future, more research on real clothing is needed.

  • The purpose of this research is to propose the scientific and rational establishment of research projects and directions for research by analyzing the research trends on clothing construction. The 689 papers in the field of clothing construction are selected among 5433 papers published within the recent ten years (1996-2005) in Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association, Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles, Journal of the Korean society of costumes, Research Journal of the Costume Culture, Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing Industry and Journal of Fashion Business. The trend of researches on clothing construction is analyzed by classifying the topics by design, body type, pattern, size of apparel, fitting of clothing, protective clothing and functional clothing, and the others, and the results are as follows. The frequency order of the studies in the field of clothing construction is body type (32%) > pattern (24%) > size of apparel (13%) > protective clothing and functional clothing (10%) > the others (8%) > design-related clothing construction (6%) > fitting of clothing (4%) > sewing (3%). The major areas of research are body types, pattern, and sizes resulting from them. Most of researches are focused on women, and researches on men are relatively lacking. In addition to the deficiency of men-related research, Moreover, researches on characteristics of body types and on corresponding sizes of consumers in the target countries of export are necessary when the reality of Korean clothing and fashion industry that depends more on foreign demand than domestic demand is considered. For production of segmented and specialized results from clothing construction research, related tools such as CAD, 3D shape systems and dress form should be developed and utilized to contribute to precision of research results.

A Study on Comparing Evaluation of External Appearance between Real and 3D Simulation of Flared Skirt Focused on Flare Volume and Length

  • This study compared the flared skirts on 3D simulation and in real to show diverse forms in women's clothing depending on the body's gait and motion. By finding the problems, we suggested the possible methods for utilizing the 3D simulation in the clothing industry. First, the 3D simulation of flared skirts showed similar forms of appearance according to the flare length and volume. However, virtually formed drape shape was even in size and spacing, whereas it was not even in real. Second, according to the results of appearance test on the length and flare volume at $90^{\circ}$ and $180^{\circ}$, both real and 3D simulation skirts were evaluated to have outstanding appearances regardless of the skirt length. However, as the flares volume increased, the skirts with longer length were evaluated to have superior appearances compared to the skirts of shorter length. Third, it showed higher resemblance between the real and virtual simulation, when the skirt had less flare and as the skirt length shortened. However, it showed greater difference between the real and virtual simulation when flare volume and length increased. The length and volume of the skirt and the physical properties of the material are predicted to be different between the real and virtual simulation. However, they usually are similar in forms, so it is believed possible to use for predicting the design's silhouette or the feel when it is worn. This method can be applied on internet shopping malls, which can possibly reduce unnecessary time and expenses.

소매확장 파워숄더 재킷의 3D 가상착의 재현 (Reproduction of 3D Virtual Wear of Sleeve-expanded Power Shoulder Jacket)

  • This study aimed to facilitate the use of virtual technologies such as sewing, appearance, and material expression in 3D virtual wear programs. For product production and education, we expounded how to express the shoulder shape and silhouette of sleeve-expanded power shoulder jackets. Two designs of sleeve-expanded power shoulder jackets were selected, and virtual jackets were produced using a virtual avatar based on the body dimensions of female subjects in their 20s. The essential purpose of a 3D virtual power shoulder jacket is to express the shoulder angle rise and shoulder width, which are much wider than the avatar's shoulder. Therefore, the virtual pad values were adjusted for the collision and rendering of each thickness. In addition, the position and angle of the virtual pads were controlled through simulation. Appearance similarity was evaluated using photographic data and the virtual jackets. For the set-in sleeve virtual power shoulder jacket, the wrinkle expressions of the torso and sleeve were rated as moderate, and material expression was slightly insufficient. The similarity of some ease and width items of the torso was tightly expressed, and the overall appearance, positions of lines, and details of jackets were rated high, especially at the neck and sleeve shapes. In the case of the kimono virtual power shoulder jacket, the expressions of the torso wrinkles and buttons were slightly lower; however, the overall similarity, basic lines, ease, shoulder and neck details, and material expression of the virtual jackets were highly evaluated.

하동군 북천면 직전리에서 산출되는 티탄철석광상의 자원량 평가를 위한 광체 3D 모델링 (3D Modeling For Resources Estimation of Ilmenite Deposits in Jikjeon-Ri, Hadong Korea)

  • 하동군 북천면 직전리 일대에는 선캄브리아기 간극누적형 회장암체 내 티탄철석 광상이 발달하고 있다. 정밀 지질조사를 통한 노두 자료와 7개 공의 시추탐사 자료를 바탕으로 GOCAD S/W를 사용하여 티타늄의 자원량을 평가하였다. 티탄철석 광체의 지하 부존상태 및 규모를 예측하기 위해 3차원 모델링을 수행한 결과 5개 맥상 광체가 남북방향으로 발달하였으며, 지구통계학적 기법을 활용하여 평균품위 및 자원량을 산출한 결과 Ti 평균 품위 2.98 wt%, 티탄철석 광량 7,494,303톤 (Ti 223,330톤)이 산정되었다. 이번 연구에 수행된 3차원 모델링을 하동지역 회장암 내 티탄광상 전체에 적용함으로써 티타늄 광체의 3차원적 형태와 자원량 평가에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

갑상선 암 환장서 기관지 편이 정도를 평가하는 방법의 연구 (Evaluation of Tracheal Deviation in Patients with Thyroid Cancer)

  • Background: Tracheal deviations are encountered frequently in head and neck tumors especially in thyroid cancer. Dyspnea and stridor are symptom calling for surgery. The method of evaluation in tracheal deviation is not well established yet. This paper is aimed to suggest objective tools to evaluate tracheal deviation in relation to cervical vertebra. Material and Method: Ten cases of thyroid cancers were recruited retrospectively. Tracheal inner shadow and shape of cervical vertebra were reconstructed three dimensionally using 3D-doctor to compare position of trachea in relation to vertebral body. Extent of deviation was scored in relation to both lateral borders of vertebral body. Angles between trachea and spinous process were measured in axial CT and compared between study group and control group. Results: Deviation scores were statistically significant between study group (mean=1.1) and control group (mean=0) (p=0.0008). Deviation angles at maximal tumor size in study group (mean=160.3 Degrees) and deviation angles of control group (mean=177.1 Degrees) were statistically significant (p=0.0007). Angles at maximal deviation of three dimensional images ages in study group (mean=162.6 Degrees) and deviation angles of control group (mean=177.1 Degrees) were statistically significant (p=0.0089). Conclusion: Tracheal deviation can be evaluated using scoring of three dimensional images and measuring angle between trachea and vertebral spine.
