2D와 3D 레이더를 이용한 정보융합 기법 연구 (Track-to-Track Information Fusion using 2D and 3D Radars)

  • This paper presents a track-to-tack information fusion algorithm using tracks of 2D and 3D radars. Before track fusion, it is needed to match the dimension of the tracks, as the tracks generated by 2D and 3D radars have different dimensions. This paper suggests how the 2D tracks are converted to the 3D tracks for track fusion. Through simulation studies, we can verify that the performance of the proposed method.

금속 3D 프린팅을 통한 맞춤형 차폐블록 제작에 사용되는 차폐 재료 검증 (Verification of Shielding Materials for Customized Block on Metal 3D Printing)

  • 의료분야에 3D 프린팅 기술이 활용됨에 따라 금속 재료에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 방사선종양학과에서는 전자선 치료 시 환자의 정상조직에 대한 불필요한 피폭을 차폐하기 위해 차폐블록을 사용하고 있다. 하지만, 납(Lead)과 카드뮴(Cadmium) 같은 중금속 물질의 취급, 숙련도에 따른 재현성과 배치의 불확실성 등에 대한 문제점이 보고되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 금속 3D 프린팅에 사용될 수 있는 재료별 물리적 특성 및 방사선량을 분석하여 전자선 치료 시 활용할 수 있는 맞춤형 차폐블록을 개발하고자 한다. 후보 재료는 알루미늄 합금(d = 2.68 g/cm3), 티타늄 합금(d = 4.42 g/cm3), 코발트 크롬 합금(d = 8.3 g/cm3)을 선별하였다. 10 × 10 cm2 조사면, 6, 9, 12, 16 Me V 에너지로 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 차폐율 95% 지점의 두께를 도출하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 금속 3D 프린팅 재료 중 코발트 크롬 합금(d = 8.35 g/cm3)이 에너지별 차폐두께에서 기존 차폐블록(d = 9.4 g/cm3)과 유사하였다. 향후 금속 3D 프린팅으로 제작한 맞춤형 차폐블록을 이용하여 임상에서의 유용성 검증 평가 및 다양한 방사선 치료계획 조건 등을 통한 실험 검증이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

  • 본 논문은 여러 옷감 조각들을 이용하여 가상의 3차원 인체 모델에 옷을 입히기 위한 의복 시뮬레이션 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 의복은 서로 꿰매지는 2차원 재단 패턴으로 구성된다. 제안된 시스템은 3차원 인체 모델 파일과 2차원 재단 패턴 파일을 읽어 들인 다음에 질량-스프링 모델에 기반한 물리적 시뮬레이션에 의해 의복을 착용한 3D모델을 생성한다. 본 논문의 시스템은 사실적인 시뮬레이션을 위하여 인체 모델을 구성하는 삼각형과 의복을 구성하는 삼각형 사이의 충돌을 검사하고 반응 처리를 수행하였다. 인체를 구성하는 삼각형의 수가 매우 많으므로, 이러한 충돌 검사 및 반응 처리는 많은 시간을 필요로 한다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 본 논문에서는 공간 분할 기법을 이용하여 충돌 검사 및 반응 처리 수를 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 실험 결과에 의하면 본 논문의 시스템은 사실적인 영상을 생성할 수 있었고 수초 이내에 가상 인체 모델에 의복을 입힐 수 있었다.

전자빔 리토그라피에서 스트링모델을 이용한 3차원 리지스트 프로파일 시뮬레이션 (3-D resist profile simulation using string model on E-beam lithography)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a simulation program to predict resist prifile in electron-beam lithography, where the main issue is proximity effect. The simualtion program composes of monte-carlo simulation, exposure simulation and development simulation. In nonte-carlo simulation, the absorbed energy in the resist is calculated when one electron is incident into resist, using hybrid model on the basis of the rutherford differential scattering cross section and moller theory. In exposure simulation, the absorbed energy in the resist is calculated when electrons are incident in exposure pattern. In the program, the developed profile depending on time is obtained by string model. The 0.2$\mu$m and the 0.3$\mu$m line and space patterns are experimentally delineated and compared to the simulation results to check the relevance of the program.

A Performance Analysis for Interconnections of 3D ICs with Frequency-Dependent TSV Model in S-parameter

  • In this study, the effects of the frequency-dependent characteristics of through-silicon vias (TSVs) on the performance of 3D ICs are examined by evaluating a typical interconnection structure, which is composed of 32-nm CMOS inverter drivers and receivers connected through TSVs. The frequency-domain model of TSVs is extracted in S-parameter from a 3D electromagnetic (EM) method, where the dimensional variation effect of TSVs can be accurately considered for a comprehensive parameter sweep simulation. A parametric analysis shows that the propagation delay increases with the diameter and height of the TSVs but decreases with the pitch and liner thickness. We also investigate the crosstalk effect between TSVs by testing different signaling conditions. From the simulations, the worst signal integrity is observed when the signal experiences a simultaneously coupled transition in the opposite direction from the aggressor lines. Simulation results for nine-TSV bundles having regular and staggered patterns reveal that the proposed method can characterize TSV-based 3D interconnections of any dimensions and patterns.

초점보정 렌즈설계 및 3D 프린터 이용 가공 특성평가(I) (Optimum Design and Characterization of F-Theta Lens by a 3D Printer(I))

  • A focal length-correcting lens called the F-theta lens is required to compensate for the different focus on spot size due to the deflected incident laser beam. The F-theta lens was designed by the ray tracing method and fabricated by a 3D printer with polymer-based material. The designed F-theta lens is able to compensate for the focus on spot size by an incidence angle of 0 to 2 degrees. Based on the analysis of the simulation, there was almost no aberration in the $0^{\circ}C$ incidence angle, and the maximum of $50{\mu}m$ of aberration was observed at the incidence angle of $2^{\circ}$. Diffraction-encircled energy was analyzed to characterize the designed optics, and an image simulation was performed to confirm the actual image resolution.

  • The development of 3D CAM system for the manufacturing of end mills becomes a key approach to save the time and reduce cost for end mills manufacturing. This paper presents the calculation and simulation of end mill tools CNC machining bases on 5-axes CNC grinding machine tool. In this study describes the process of generation and simulation of grinding point data between the tool and the grinding wheels through the machined time. Depend on input data of end mill geometry, wheels geometry, wheel setting, machine setting the end mill configuration and NC code for machining will be generated and visualized in 3 dimension before machining. The 3D visualizations of end mill manufacturing was generated by using OpenGL in C++. The development software was designed by using Microsoft Visual C++, which has many advantages for users, saving time and reducing manufacturing cost.

HMD를 사용한 가상현실 선박 시뮬레이터 시스템의 프로토타입 개발 (Development of Prototype VR Ship Simulator System Using HMD)

  • The paper deals with the implementation of prototype Ship Simulator system (VRSS) by Virtual Reality techniques with Head Mounted Display (HMD) device. The prototype VRSS was consists of PC-based human sensors, object oriented operating system. In addition, two kinds of databases arranged from Head Related Transfer Functions and 3D object models were used to create 3D sea sound, and to construct virtual world, respectively. Using the prototype system, we carried out some simulation tests for the overtaking situation to prevent collisions at sea, and discussed on the usability of the system. As results from simulations, the prototype VRSS can provide multisensory and interactive display environment. The results gave rise to the user interaction with 3D objects that give realistic reproduction of navigational environments under a given scenario. Thus, we found that the prototype VRSS should be one of the next-generation ship simulation system.

  • We developed a 3D simulation model of microstructure evolution of vertically aligned porous structure due to phase separation during film growth. The model proves its validity by reproducing the results of previous researches which are topological features of the microstructures and effects of varied processing parameters. The model will be extended by including bulk diffusion effect and elastic effect.

  • This paper presents a new method for representing SSR(Subsynchronous Resonanace) Phenomena using 3-D computer graphics animation. A virtual power system simulation environment was made for simulation and visualization of SSR phenomena. It is anticipated that the proposed method would be helpful for the operator training as well as power system education.
