SWM을 이용한 케이블 드라이브 시스템 (SWM Utilized Cable Drive System)

  • In this paper, cable drive mechanism is proposed to implement high reduction gear ratio. Cable drive mechanism has great advantages such as light weight, high degree of freedom about design aspect and zero backlashes. However, it is restrictively utilized for robotic applications because it is difficult to implement high reduction gear ratio more than 10 to 1. Proposed mechanism enables multi-level reductions by adopting seamless winding method (SWM) which links the previous output axis and the next input axis. Consequently, this reduces the mechanical complexity significantly and enables high reduction with only one single wire cable. 3D CAD design was provided and prototype was manufactured.

퍼지로직을 이용한 항공기 고장 검출 및 분리 (A Study on Actuator Fault Detection and Isolation in Airplanes using Fuzzy Logic)

  • Fault detection and isolation(FDI) and reconfigurable flight control system provide better survivability even though actuator faults occur. In this study, a new fault detection and isolation algorithm is proposed using fuzzy logic. When the FDI system detects the actuator fault, the fuzzy logic investigates the state variables to find which actuator has fault. Proposed fuzzy detection algorithm detect not only a single fault but also multiple faults. After detecting the fault, the reconfigurable flight control system begins operating for compensating the effects of the fault. A numerical simulation using six degree-of-freedom nonlinear aircraft model is performed to verity the performance of the proposed fault detection and isolation scheme.

  • This paper proposes a method of avoiding obstacles and tracking a moving object continuously and simultaneously by using new concepts of virtual tow point and fuzzy danger factor for differential wheeled mobile robots. Since differential wheeled mobile robot has smaller degree of freedom to control and are non-holonomic systems, there exist multiple solutions (trajectories) to control and reach a target position. The paper proposes 'fuzzy danger factor' for obstacles avoidance, 'virtual tow point' to solve non-holonomic object tracking control problem for unique solution and three kinds of fuzzy logic controller. The fuzzy logic controller is policy decision controller with fuzzy danger factor to decide which controller's result is more valuable when the mobile robot is tracking a moving object with obstacles to be avoided.

  • An electro-hydraulic manipulator using hydraulic actuators has many nonlinear abetments, and its parameter fluctuations are greater than those of an electrically driven manipulator. So it is relatively difficult to realize not only stable but also accurate trajectory control for the autonomous assembly tasks using hydraulic manipulators. In this report, we propose a two-degree-of-freedom control including parallel feedforward compensator (PFC) where PFC plays a very important role in the stability of a proposed control system. In the experimental results of the 6-link electro hydraulic manipulator, it is verified that the stability and the model matching performance are improved by using the proposed control method.

Real-time collision-free landing path planning for drone deliveries in urban environments

  • This study presents a novel safe landing algorithm for urban drone deliveries. The rapid advancement of drone technology has given rise to various delivery services for everyday necessities and emergency relief efforts. However, the reliability of drone delivery technology is still insufficient for application in urban environments. The proposed approach uses the "landing angle control" method to allow the drone to land vertically and a rapidly exploring random tree-based collision avoidance algorithm to generate safe and efficient vertical landing paths for drones while avoiding common urban obstacles like trees, street lights, utility poles, and wires; these methods allow for precise and reliable urban drone delivery. We verified the approach within a Gazebo simulation operated through ROS using a six-degree-of-freedom drone model and sensors with similar specifications to actual models. The performance of the algorithms was tested in various scenarios by comparing it with that of stateof-the-art 3D path planning algorithms.

1 자유도 엔드 이펙터를 갖는 여유 자유도 로봇을 사용한 브레이크 모듈 조립 (Brake Module Assembly Using a Redundant Robot Having an 1 DOF End Effector)

  • 이 논문에서는 자동차의 제동장치에 사용되는 브레이크 모듈 조립 작업을 로봇을 사용하여 자동화한 사례를 소개한다. 브레이크 모듈은 하나의 토크 멤버에 두 개의 브레이크 패드와 두 개의 패드 라이너를 장착하여 조립을 완성한다. 이 조립 작업은 로봇의 방향을 자주 바꾸어 주어야하기 때문에 일반적인 산업용 로봇 핸드를 사용하면 조립 시간이 오래 걸린다. 이 논문에서는 두 가지 방법을 제안한다. 첫 번째 방법은 다섯 개의 그리퍼를 갖는 로봇 엔드 이펙터를 설계, 제작하여 기존의 산업용 6축 머니퓰레이터에 장착하여 조립 작업을 수행하는 방법이다. 이 방법에서는 두 개의 브레이크 패드와 두 개의 패드 라이너를 한꺼번에 파지하여 조립 작업을 수행하며 따라서 하나의 그리퍼 만을 가지고 있는 기존의 엔드 이펙터에 비해 조립 시간을 줄일 수 있었다. 두 번째 방법에서는 첫 번째 방법을 더욱 개선하여 엔드 이펙터가 하나의 부가적인 자유도를 가지도록 설계, 제작하여 기존의 산업용 6축 머니퓰레이터에 장착하였다. 이 방법에서는 전체 로봇 머니퓰레이터가 7 자유도를 갖는 여유자유도 머니퓰레이터가 되어 로봇의 동작을 최소화하면서 조립에 필요한 다양한 로봇 방향을 구현할 수 있었다.

  • 던지기는 시간 효율이 높은 물체 수송 방법이나 그 정확성을 위해서는 다양한 물리적인 변인들을 고려해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정확한 던지기에 영향을 주는 변인들을 설정하여 물체를 정확하게 던지는 해를 찾는 유전 알고리즘을 설계하고, 이를 4자유도 로봇팔에 적용시켰다. 하드웨어는 TETRIX와 EV3 플랫폼을 이용하여 설계하였고, 소프트웨어는 LabVIEW 2014를 이용하여 구현하였다. 또한 물체가 던져질 때마다 위치와 각 변인들의 값을 수집하고, 이를 통계적으로 분석하여 던지기의 정확성에 대한 각 관절의 기여도를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 물체를 정확히 던지는 기계를 설계하거나 사람의 던지는 동작을 이해하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • In this paper, a single degree-of freedom gimbal-structured micro gyroscope and signal processing part including capacitive sensing circuits and filters are designed, fabricated and experimented. We use capacitive sensing method with excitation signal, i.e. sensing excitation signal, to measure the displacement of the moving plate. So, Sensing Output Signal is modulated twice by the excitation signal and driving signal, which is profitable to decouple the driving and sensing mode, to reduce the effect of the acceleration, and to curtail the noises due to parasitic capacitance and driving signal.   • In this study, we tried to investigate the impedance characteristic of human arm in a cooperative task. Human arm was moved in a desired trajectory. The motion was actuated by a 1 degree-of-freedom robot system. As the muscle is mechanically analogous to a spring-damper system, a second-order equation was considered as the model for arm dynamics. In the model, inertia, stiffness and damping factor were considered. The impedance parameter was estimated from the position and torque data obtained from the experiment and based on the "Estimation of Parametric Model".   • Recently, there are a great many research for magnetic levitation(Maglev) system. Maglev system is eco-friendly used in a place that is not friction. But Maglev is system that inductance is changed according to air-gap, so this is unstable system. In this paper, we simulate 1 Maglev actuator Control and we do an experience on 4 Maglev actuator system control. however, we get a problem of 4 maglev actuator control, because Maglev is 3 DOF(Degree of Freedom). so we control average err of 2 Maglev actuator in the rear.
