  • 본 논문에서는 선택적 시점에서의 2D 포즈 추정(pose estimation) 결과를 정합 하여 정확도 높은 3D 스켈레톤(skeleton)을 만들어 낸다. 여러 프레임의 3D 데이터를 10 도 간격으로 36 방향에서 투영한 뒤, 2D 포즈 추정 결과 신뢰도가 높은 시점에서의 결과만을 선별하여 3 차원으로 정합 한다. 이때 사용하는 시점의 개수를 달리하며 정확도에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 실험적으로 정확도가 높은 최소의 시점 개수를 정하였다. 또한, 정합 한 3D 뼈대를 모션 캡쳐(motion capture) 센서와 비교하여 제안하는 알고리즘에 의해 3D 포즈 추정의 정확도가 향상되는 것을 확인했다.

  • This paper provides the performance comparison of selected post filters for depth map in 3D video system. In the performance comparison, the dilation filter which is currently adopted in 3D-ATM reference S/W, the bilateral filter, and the depth-oriented depth boundary reconstruction filter. In the paper, we first introduce those filters in details, and show the experimental results as post filter in 3D video system.

  • Recently, we used to recognize for human motions with some recognition algorithms. examples, HMM, DTW, PCA etc. In many human motions, we concentrated our research on recognizing fighting motions. In previous work, to obtain the fighting motion data, we used motion capture system which is developed with some active markers and infrared rays cameras and 3 dimension information converting algorithms by the stereo matching method. In this paper, we describe that the different method to acquiring 3 dimension fighting motion data and a HMM algorithm to recognize the data. One of the obtaining 3d data we used is depth map algorithm which is calculated by a stereo method. We test the 3d acquiring and the motion recognition system, and show the results of accuracy and performance results.

  • 디지털 기술의 급속한 발전으로 디지털 방송에 대한 여러 가지 요소기술과DTV가 곧 상용화 될 전망이다. 본 연구는 대용량 DVD 저장매체를 이용하여 3D 1-n급 방송 스트림을 송출하기 위한 시스템 설계에 관한 것이다. HD급 방송 스트림을 위한 HDD 및 여러 가지 저장매체를 통해 영상 데이터를 억세스를 하지만 데이터 보관방법상의 문제점과 디스크의 원리상 데이터 억세스를 균일하게 처리하지 못하여 발생하는 인터페이스 동기 불일치 등의 문제점이 있다. 그러므로 DVD 매체를 통한 저장방법 및 억세스의 균일함을 제공하고, 송출 출력을 2.4Mpds 인터페이스 고정시켜 응용 프로그램에서 미디어 정보를 MMIO DMA방식으로 버퍼링하므로써 스트림을 재생할 때 동기 등의 문제점을 해결하였으며, 또한 PCI 컨트롤러는 FPGA VHDR coding하여 PC의 3D-Streamer 응용 프로그램의 명령 신호로 제어를 한다. 이 명령에 따라 3D-Streamer는 3차원 입체영상적인 영상출력을 SMTPE-310M으로 출력하거나 8 DVB 모드로 출력을 하게 된다. 따라서 DVD 전송 직병렬 인터페이스로서 다른 셋톱 장치 및 스트림 전송 장치와 데이터 호환을 이루게 된다.

3D Accuracy Analysis of Mobile Phone-based Stereo Images (모바일폰 기반 스테레오 영상에서 산출된 3차원 정보의 정확도 분석)

  • This paper analyzes the 3D accuracy of stereo images captured from a mobile phone. For 3D accuracy evaluation, we have compared the accuracy result according to the amount of the convergence angle. In order to calculate the 3D model space coordinate of control points, we perform inner orientation, distortion correction and image geometry estimation. And the quantitative 3D accuracy was evaluated by transforming the 3D model space coordinate into the 3D object space coordinate. The result showed that relatively precise 3D information is generated in more than $17^{\circ}$ convergence angle. Consequently, it is necessary to set up stereo model structure consisting adequate convergence angle as an measurement distance and a baseline distance for accurate 3D information generation. It is expected that the result would be used to stereoscopic 3D contents and 3D reconstruction from images captured by a mobile phone camera.

  • In this paper, symbol error probability (SEP) of typical 3-dimensional (3-D) signal constellations in Rayleigh fading channel is derived. Simulation confirms that average SEP of the constellations is very accurate. Thus, the theoretical SEP derived can be exploited as a performance reference for future development of wireless communication systems with 3-D constellations.

  • The 3-dimensional image display system using only binocular disparity can induce the eye fatigue because of the mismatch between the accommodation of eye and the convergence of two eyes. A new 3-dimensional display system for one observer that can solve eye fatigue caused by mismatch between accommodation and convergence was introduced in this paper. A proof about the possibility of satisfaction of accommodation of one eye was given as the experimental result in this 3-dimensional display system.

  • In this paper, we proposed a new 3-dimensional(3-D) object-tracking algorithm that can control a stereo camera using a variable window mask supported by which uses ,B-D information and an optical BPEJTC. Hence, three-dimensional information characteristics of a stereo vision system, distance information from the stereo camera to the tracking object. can be easily acquired through the elements of a stereo vision system. and with this information, we can extract an area of the tracking object by varying window masks. This extractive area of the tracking object is used as the next updated reference image. furthermore, by carrying out an optical BPEJTC between a reference image and a stereo input image the coordinates of the tracking objects location can be acquired, and with this value a 3-D object tracking can be accomplished through manipulation of the convergence angie and a pan/tilt of a stereo camera. From the experimental results, the proposed algorithm was found to be able to the execute 3-D object tracking by extracting the area of the target object from an input image that is independent of the background noise in the stereo input image. Moreover a possible implementation of a 3-D tele-working or an adaptive 3-D object tracker, using the proposed algorithm is suggested.
