This research studies the perception types of 119 rescue workers among emergency rescue department students, and was carried out to identify the types of perception of 119 rescue workers among firefighters and to prepare basic data to find out the characteristics of each type. As a result of analysis on the Q sample consisting of 27 statements by executing the Q UANL program on a total of 54 students from the Emergency rescue department, it is confirmed that there were 3 types, which accounted for 45% of the total variable. When looking at the explanatory power per type, it turned out: 32% for Type I; 6.7% for Type II; and 5.8% for Type III. Each type was named as follows: our Superman for Type I ; suffering hero for Type II ; and rescue expert for Type III. Overall, there were 119 rescue workers as follows : rescue workers in lexical meaning; and 119 rescue workers who were in difficult situations suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and needed to be covered and protected by citizens. In addition, there was a perception of 119 rescue workers who were recognized as a specialist and carry out his/her lifesaving duties without a single mistake. Therefore, in order for 119 rescue workers to be recognized as a specialized field of rescue, a program in which 119 rescue workers can share various training and experiences must be provided and researched.
This research is about Department of Emergency medical services students' cognition type of female 119 paramedics. The purpose of this research is to understand department of emergency medical servises students' cognition of female 119 paramedics and identify characteristics classified by types. To this end, applying Q-method, this research objectively analyzes 72 department of emergency medical services students' reaction who complete the field training about ambulance about female 119 paramedics. The result of the department of emergency medical services students recognized type of female 119 paramedics could be typed into four types. The type I is recognized as "Stamina limit type", the type II as "expert type", the type III as "guardian angel type", and the type IV as "feminine experience type". The type I has 28.3%, the type II has 12.7%, the type III has 6%, and the type IV has 3.8% explanation power, and these explain 51% of total variable. Generally department of emergency medical services students' cognition of female 119 paramedic is that they are expert in first aid but students' cognition is negative because of female 119 paramedic's limit of stamina, exposure to danger, and giving birth and infant care thus we should arrange solution of these cognition.

This study analyzed the survey data of 162 rescuers working in G Special Self-Governing Province to find out the effect of the transactional and transformational leadership of 119 rescuer leaders on life satisfaction. As a result of analysis through multiple regression analysis, it was found that the life satisfaction of 119 rescuers was greatly influenced by the leadership style of their leaders. It has been confirmed that transformational and transactional leadership are not independent of each other, and that the appropriate balance of these two leadership approaches has a positive effect on the life satisfaction and organizational life of the rescuers. Therefore, the 119 rescuers' team leaders should create an environment in which transformational and transactional leadership can be balanced. Specifically, transformational leadership should be exercised through individualized consideration, intellectual stimulation, and inspirational motivation, while at the same time improving transactional leadership by establishing a reward system based on performance. Through this, it is expected that the quality of rescue service at the site will be improved by increasing the life satisfaction of 119 rescuers and laying the foundation for them to demonstrate their potential capabilities. The findings of this study provide practical implications for improving the quality of life and organizational performance of 119 rescuers.
This study aimed at evaluating and developing 119 emergency medical technicians' prehospital care for non-traumatic cardiac arrest. Total 322 EMT in Chungnam province and Daejeon city filled out the self-administered questionnaire. The data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 for descriptive statistics. Among the 322 EMT, 309 (97%) and 169(53%) always or almost performed CPR and AED for nontraumatic cardiac arrest patient, respectively. Among the advanced EMT and nurse, IV were sometimes or not performed at 94.7% and medication including epinephrine which commonly used for survival of cardiac arrest were treated just at 9.3 % (14 person). The reason they did not perform each procedure for airway management, AED or IV was lack of manpower, limit of time or joggle of ambulance and legal restrictions. In conclusion, to increase survival rate of non-traumatic cardiac arrest in out-of-hospital, it is necessary to increase manpower, legal protection of EMS, establishment of standard operating procedure, practice for improvement technique and use of medication for ACLS.

The purpose of the this study was to verify a model for the structural relationships of the behavioral attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control of 119 emergency medical technicians to their safety attitude and safety behavior. A survey was conducted on 373 male and female 119 emergency medical technicians who were working as fire-fighting officers in Seoul, Inheon, Gangwon Province, Daegu, South Chungcheong Province, North Gyeongsang Province and Busan. The collected data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 16.0. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the behavioral attitude of the 119 emergency medical technicians was found to have affected and safety behavior(t=.32, p<.001). Second, the subjective norm of the 119 emergency medical technicians was found to have exerted an influence on their safety attitude and safety behavior(t=.27, p<.001). Third the perceived behavioral control of the 119 emergency medical technicians was found to have influenced their safety attitude and safety behavior(t=.28, p<.001). Fourth, the safety attitude of the 119 emergency medical technicians was found to have had an impact on their safety behavior(t=.39, p<.001).

This study investigated to provide basic data for infection control education on new infectious diseases by confirming the level of knowledge, training status, stress, and need for training on new infectious diseases for 119 emergency medical technicians (EMT). This data collection period was a total of 39 days from August 10 to September 18, 2022, and a total of 105 copies were collected. The analysis of this study used the SPSS 25.0 program. As a result of the study, among the 119 paramedics, the gender of the EMT was 54 men (51.4%) and 51 women (48.6%), with more men than women, with 47 people in their 20s (44.8%) and those in their 30s or older. There were 58 people (55.2%), most of whom were in their 30s or older. The highest total work experience was 3 to 5 years (37 people (35.2%)). In the pandemic situation, an attempt was made to check the education status of 119 paramedics on COVID-19 and the need for education on new infectious diseases. As a result of the study, the status of education on COVID-19 was insufficient. The demand for education on new infectious diseases was found to be high. Among 119 emergency responders who are frequently exposed to new infectious diseases, theoretical and practical training in personal protective equipment, stress, including theoretical training, is needed. A theoretical and practical education program on new infectious diseases and personal protective equipment should be developed as a subject for college students before becoming EMT.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the application and utility of emergency rescue education and derive limitations, improvements and development directions of university education based on the field experience of 119 emergency medical technician(EMT)s. The research subjects were six new 119 emergency medical technician(EMT)s within three years of starting their first-aid service in the field. After conducting in-depth narrative interviews, the analysis was performed using Colaizzi method. The 82 formulated meanings were derived from significant statements. From formulated meanings, 23 themes, 4 theme clusters, 2 categories were identified. The four theme clusters were 'The effectiveness of university education', 'The limitations of university education', 'The direction of improvement in educational methodology' and 'The direction of improvement in educational contents. University education has been helpful overall, but limitations are observed at the same time, suggesting that it should be developed through the improvement of educational methodologies (i.e. problem-based learning, field case review, education through role-playing, simulation education, strengthening skill ect.) and educational content (i.e. training tailored to the field, education focused on trauma or cardiac arrest, expansion of triage education in disaster management, reinforcement of education on-site safety, education on special patients, diverse guidance and faculty for different perspectives).

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of self-help education on job competence, job satisfaction, and quality of life in 119 paramedics, and to prepare basic data for the improvement of the quality of emergency medical services. A survey was conducted from May 12 to August 23, 2019, on 205 male and female fire officers in the Gangwon and Daegu Provinces. The collected data was analyzed using the SPSS 20.0 version, and frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were carried out. The multiple regression analysis showed that the participants had a static correlation between self-help education, job competence, job satisfaction, and quality of life. Also, the self-help education had a significant correlation with job competence (personal area), job satisfaction (personal area, organizational area, professional area) and quality of life (personal area, professional area) (p<.01, p<.001). The job competence and job satisfaction of the paramedics had a significant impact on their quality of life. Given the findings of the study, specific systems need to be developed to improve the quality of life through the invigoration of self-help education for paramedics.

This study was conducted to provide basic data to find measures to alleviate the job stress of 119 Emergency Medical Technicians by identifying the mediating effect of resilience for life care in the relationship between stress coping and job stress of 119 Emergency Medical Technicians. The data for this study were collected from October 5, 2019, to October 31, 2019. The subject was 205 119 Emergency Medical Technicians working in 119 safety centers located in G Metropolitan City. The collected data were analyzed by independent t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, hierarchical multiple regression analysis, and Sobel test using the SPSS Statistics 21.0 program. As a result oh the study, The mediation effect of resilience was not statistically significant in the relationship between stress coping of seeking social support type and job stress; the mediation effect of resilience was not statistically significant in the relationship between stress coping of seeking positive thinking type and job stress. but, resilience was revealed that resilience completely mediates the relationship between problem-solving type and job stress, and partially mediates the relationship between avoidance type and job stress. The measures to reduce the job stress of 119 Emergency Medical Technicians derived from the above results are as follows. First, among the 119 Emergency Medical Technicians, problem-solving stress coping type 119 Emergency Medical Technicians need to reduce job stress through resilience improvement program. Second, avoidance stress coping type 119 Emergency Medical Technicians should take part in education programs that can reduce job stress in parallel with resilience improvement program.

The study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the triage training program utilizing pre-and post-training experiments designed for 119 emergency medical services teams. Objectives: This study evaluated the effectiveness of triage training programs on the accuracy of triage performed by 119 emergency medical services team staff who participated in the triage training program. Behavior: Participants in this study included 119 of the 166 EMS staff. In this program, a modified START triage consisting of a 20-minute theoretical presentation was presented to the participants. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Results: A significant increase in triage accuracy for 119 EMS teams(p<.001). And undertriage showed a significant decrease(p<.001). In addition, overtriage showed a decrease but was not statistically significant. Conclusions: The results obtained from this study showed that the triage training program was effective in improving the accuracy of the triage of multiple injury patients or disaster victims when presented to the 119 emergency medical services team. Therefore, these results suggest that it would be helpful to add triage training to the fire department's formal training program.
