Teachers' perceptions about curricular objectives are very important to achieve given educational objectives. This study examined teachers' perceptions about priority and hinderance of science objectives. The national science curriculum stated four areas of objectives: inquiry, knowledge, attitude, and STS. A total of 76 elementary and 217 secondary teachers were responded to questionnaire developed for this study. Non-parametric statistics, such as Friedman test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and chi-square test were used by using SPSS/PC program. Teachers in general ranked the inquiry first among the four areas at their perception on the national curriculum, on themselves, and on their instructions. Elementary teachers ranked inquiry higher than secondary science teachers, while secondary science teachers ranked knowledge higher than elementary teachers. As factors hindering teachers from achiving the objectives, elementary teachers pointed out overcrowded classroom and secondary science teachers pointed out college and university entrance examination respectively.
It is clinically well-known observation that Nasal packing is associated with the eustachian tube dysfunction, and this study seldom appeared in the literature. In our country, Nasal Surgery requiring Nasal packing is still the most frequent operation in the field of otorhinolaryngology and it is our interest to study this effects of Nasal packing on the eustachian tube function. Using tympanometry, we experienced eustachian tube dysfunction in 40 patients (80 ears) with anterior packing due to Nasal Surgery and epistaxis and in 13 patients (26 ears) with anterior packing and posterior packing due to epistaxis. The results were as fllows; 1) Thirty of the 80 ears (37%) in the patients with anterior packing revealed reduction in middle ear pressure, of which 16 ears (20%) demonstrated negative middle ear pressure of greater than 100mm H20. 2) Fifteen of the 26 ears (50.7%) in the patients with posterior packing revealed reduction in middle ear pressure, of which 11 ears (42.3%) demonstrated negative middle ear pressure of greater than l00mm H20. 3) Posterior packing is associated with a greater incidence of eustachian tube dysfunction than anterior packing. 4) The eustachian tube dysfunction associated with Nasal packing is temporary and this function is returned to normal within 2 to 9 days after removal of the packing.

This study is currently presenting a creative education policy through the new 2015 revised curriculum and the Free semester system of Middle School as part of the education policy reform in the government-led, high freedom grade in each regional school board first, emotional schools, friendly school, campus type schools, etc. with creative thinking and improve students' autonomous judgment with the psychological and political reasons meant to provide amusement and certainty of their career choice. This creates space for creative education through the theoretical understanding of the educational philosophical thinking on creativity was to identify the appropriate means of educational space. The purpose of this study was to extract the linkage to produce creative educational environment that is generated through the philosophical thinking of the historical and psychological analysis of creativity with a human being. Future school construction has a future-oriented task should create a creative learning space in the center of the member schools. This creates space for creative education through the theoretical understanding of the educational philosophical thinking on creativity was to identify the appropriate means of educational space. Therefore Philosophical Thinking Creative School of members through the grounds centric collaboration focused on convergence enemy curriculum and school creative autonomy of operation which is central educational environment, that is diversified assistance as an attribute of the environment, space, space, flexible outdoor space, linking enemy center space, different types and sizes of the space case situation, the open space and spatial fusion can be seen the configuration doeeojim with different training space element.
The purpose of this study was to find out the validation of instructional strategies using the Advanced Laboratory Equipment (ALE class) by investigating science high school students’ perception on ALE in chemistry classrooms and to consider the need for development of teaching materials on ALE class. 7 sessions of ALE including experiments with innovative equipment were developed and applied to 21 students in D Science High School. At the end of the sessions, questionnaire was given to the students. We also collected qualitative data by interviewing 9 students who participated in the questionnaire. We analyzed the data collected by In-depth interviews and students’ experimental reports. The result showed that ALE class was effective to enhance students’ understanding of learning concepts because the experimental time was shortened in real time data processing. Some students showed creative performance on solving scientific problems by using everyday materials in experimental process and developed perceptions of practical inquiry. Through this process, students’ positive attitudes and interests in science and heuristic inquiry skills were also enhanced. Developing ALE lesson materials will be helpful for students to understand science and technology and the domain of science in broader contexts.

In the modern society, the adolescence needs the career development competency which makes them probe changing social phenomenon critically and use the given environment and resources progressively. Thus, adolescence should be offered with the career development competency education, but the education in the school fields remains as school entrance coaching focusing on the academic clique and career coaching as a mere job education. As a result, the study connection between high school and university was destroyed and it caused students' study-unfitness and dropouts after the university entrance. Hence, career education to culture major suitability of high school students in the new paradigm should be developed through high school-university connection. So, this study developed a career education program through the collaboration among the professor of college of human ecology, a home economics specialist, undergraduates majoring in human ecology, and a high school student, using the ADDIE model. The result of this study is as followed. First, this study searched for the direction of the program for the career development competency reinforcement of high school students. Second, the program arranged the newest issues of each department of human ecology to make high school students come in contact with and study them easily, aiming at cultivation of major suitability of high school students. Third, the study established the teaching-learning materials that is managed by the high school-college of human ecology committee. Fourth, this program will be the good opportunity for students who are interested in departments of human ecology to check their major suitability.
The purpose of this study is to analyze field trip activities in the elementary school science textbook developed under the 7th national curriculum. The results indicated there was an average of 4.25 field trip activities each semester presented in the textbook from the 3rd to 6th grade, mostly related to earth science and biology. The places for field trips were limited to in-school environment and natural sites in communities, and mostly purported to gain understanding of rudimentary concepts. Field trip activities were intended to facilitate science knowledge and understanding in order to integrate with the textbook content rather than offering students simple one-time activities. Most activities in the textbook guided students step by step. The starting or follow-up activities in the fields trips and reminder for cautions were not clearly presented. In order for the field trips to integrate with the content of the curriculum in the text book, they have to be presented in the textbook systematically. It is also imperative to find out various fold trip places related to the content in the curriculum, develop efficient activities dealing with science at the appropriate level for students and increasing interests in science and its teaming.
This study is aimed at exploring the educational meaning of cooperative hands-on activity in the technology subject from the perspective of a student who is an education consumer. For this purpose, this study selected 12 first year student of a middle school located at G City of Gyeonggi-do Province as research participants through purposeful sampling, and conducted an in-depth interview and group discussion based on stimulated recall questionary techniques. This study utilized area analysis, classification analysis and component analysis as a data analysis method, and secured the verity of the research through the examination between research participants and triangulation. As a result of this research work, it was found that the cooperative hands-on class in the technology subject had the meaning of 'Space between a burden and excitement about the technical making', 'Clue and ignition point of technological problem solving', and 'Self-discovery through Technical capability'. To be more concrete, 'Space between a burden and excitement about the technical making' means that students, whose usual school record is excellent, felt great psychological burdens of performance assessment, but their pre-experience and interest in 'Making' induced them to feel exhilaration of hands-on activity. 'Clue and ignition point of technological problem solving' means that students get to make much of the understanding & formation of the relationship with teammates in the process of resolving an unfamiliar hands-on activity task and to have the continuous problem-solving ability. 'Self-discovery through Technical capability' means that students get to realize the importance of learning experience of one's own making through hands-on activity learning, which could be the opportunity to meet the operant demands of the inner side. This study hopes that such results could be utilized as the basic data needed for designing the hands-on activity education in the technology subject more meaningfully and systematically for the time to come.
This study aims to find how storytelling classes using fairy tales related to science museum exhibits have an effect on positive experience about science. For this study, the theoretical background and preceding studies on the relevance of science education and literature were collected and based on the characteristics of assimilation and the educational value of assimilation, naturally connected to the exhibits in relation to their own life, so that individuals could explore science even out-of-school. Four types of activities were developed by linking four fairy tales mentioned in elementary school textbooks to the G science museum exhibits. Seven elementary school teachers verified the validity of the activity materials. Classes through the developed activity materials were conducted four times in a row, one and a half hours at every turn for 10 students. A positive experience about science test was conducted on the students in a study to confirm that this activity has caused significant changes in science academic emotion among sub-domains of positive experience about science. In order to find the factors that affected the science academic emotion, we interviewed the students in the study and their parents. The results of this study show that the use of fairy tales related to science museum exhibits has led to a significant change in science academic emotion by reducing the burden of learning through the exhibition experience at the science museum, which creates scientific curiosity and recognizes them as a playground.

The purposes of this study were to develop the student activity-centered science textbook model in high school and explore the field application possibility. For development of student activity-centered science textbook model, we conducted a literature survey about foreign science textbook and science curriculum and we developed the textbook development framework based on 7E learning model. Based on framework, we developed student activity-centered science textbook model about achievement standards 'systems and interaction - earth systems'. A development model is the total amount of five class periods and the various objectives were reflected in pursuit systems thinking & STEAM. 1~4 class periods, learning content composed of student activity-centered exploration activities that organically associated to make final products. Fifth class period was presented to explore job and career. A development model was applied to high school class for one time study. Applying the result of field study, students were responded positively in interested about science class, textbook contents, made final product. Through this study, if science textbook was made on the basis of the revised student activity-centered science textbook model, students were lead to positive change in science class.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of solving multi-strategic mathematics problems on mathematical creativity and attitudes of the 6th grade students. For this study, the researchers conducted a survey of forty nine (26 students in experimental group and 23 students in comparative group) 6th graders of S elementary school in Seoul with 19 lessons. The experimental group solved the multi-strategic mathematics problems after learning mathematics through mathematical strategies, whereas the group of comparative students were taught general mathematics problem solving. The researchers conducted pre- and post- isomorphic mathematical creativity and mathematical attitudes of students. They examined the t-test between the pre- and post- scores of sub-elements of fluency, flexibility and creativity and attitudes of the students by the i-STATistics. The researchers obtained the following conclusions. First, solving multi-strategic mathematics problems has a positive impact on mathematical creativity of the students. After learning solving the multi-strategic mathematics problems, the scores of mathematical creativity of the 6th grade elementary students were increased. Second, learning solving the multi-strategy mathematics problems impact the interest, value, will and efficacy factors in the mathematical attitudes of the students. However, no significant effect was found in the areas of desire for recognition and motivation. The researchers suggested that, by expanding the academic year and the number of people in the study, it is necessary to verify how mathematics learning through multi-strategic mathematics problem-solving affects mathematical creativity and mathematical attitudes, and to verify the effectiveness through long-term research, including qualitative research methods such as in-depth interviews and observations of students' solving problems.
