The year 2016 in Cambodia witnessed the regression of Cambodian democracy. Political oppression and manipulation executed by the ruling Cambodian People's Party destroyed democracy and civil society. The patronage politics operating on the age-old patron-client relations was invigorated as the financial demands for populist policies amounted. The economy continued its growth in 2016. Yet serious problems embedded in its very structure began to surface as the situation in and outside became less promising. Concerning international relations, the year 2016 marked conspicuous pro-China policies, which may cause unexpected friction with neighboring countries in the future.

The year 2016 in Cambodia witnessed the collapse of Cambodian democracy. Promising results in terms of fairness the communal elections achieved were eclipsed by the dissolution of the Cambodia National Rescue Party. With press and civil society also being silenced, the ruling Cambodian People's Party expects no more challenge to its authoritarian rule. The economy continued it growth in 2017. However, serious problems embedded in its structure threaten the likelihood of sustainable development. Cambodia with solid China backing began to amp up its voice on the international stage, heading to a head-on collision with big donators including the United States.

Desktop Documentary is a new documentary mode which uses a screen capture technology to complete the multitasking process of the creator who searches in the Internet Open Archive instead of shooting with a camera and remixes the selected multimedia contents using a computer interface. In this paper, we explore the desktop documentary that transforms potential archives into database narratives in the new media environment, converts cinematic mise-en-$sc{\grave{e}}ne$ into computational mise-en-interface, and transcends the boundaries between creation and criticism through creative mechanism as curation through stream of consciousness. We also examine the concept, type and characteristics of the desktop documentary which emerges since 2010s as an experimental attempt of new media art, a new hybrid genre of mainstream horror film, a new mode of fiction film, a new mockumentary style, and a new form of video essay and audiovisual critique.

Acid-catalyzed hydrolysis of 3,3-bis(methylthio)-2-propen-1-phenyl-1-one derivatives were studied kinetically in concentrated aqueous hydroperchloric acid(-Ho < 2.23) at $30^{\circ}C.$ The substituent effect, analysis of hydrolysis product, hydration $parameter({\omega} & {\phi}$) from the Bunnett equation and the Bunnett-Olsen equation on the rate indicate that the acid-catalyzed hydrolysis of the substrates below 3.8 M hydroperchloric acid media occurs through A-1 type reaction($3.3 >{\omega},\;0.58 >{\phi} & {\rho}< 0$) mechanism and above 3.8 M hydroperchloric acid, the reaction proceeds A-2 type reaction($0 <(\omega)$, $0 <{\phi} & (\rho)> 0$) mechanism.

In this paper, we describe a pointing accuracy establishment and efficiency measurement of 13.7 m antenna for observing cosmic radio wave which is in the first stage just after finishing its installation. The initial stage of pointing model, 1 and 2 were set up with the observational data of Sun and Moon which are large in visual diameter and also strong in radio intensity. Based on this model, model 3 and 4 were established within the available operational range, i.e., 3.8" in azimuth deviation, 10.5" in elevation deviation, with the observational data of SiO maser source which is a point source and distributed in overall sky. Both apeture efficiency anhd beam efficiency were measured by observing Venus whose brightness temperature is well-known. The resulting corrected efficiencies were 35% and 50% respectively.

In this paper, we analyze the performance of the encoding and the modulation processes in the downlink and uplink of the EPCglobal Gen-2 system through the analysis and simulation. Furthermore, the synchronization issues on time and frequency domain and the preamble architecture are evaluated. By incorporating the encoding and the modulation technigue in the downlink and uplink, we assess the performance of the EPCglobal Gen-2 system. We also introduce the encoding and backscatter modulation process as well as the BER performance of FM0 code. In addition, the importance and the role of the frequency and time synchronization, such as the preamble and frame synchronization are explained. Through the simulation in the uplink on the detection probability through preamble, we find that the detection probability approaches 1 for 13 dB $E_b/N_0$.
