Examining the breadth and depth of knowledge required in the teacher employment test for secondary mathematics (수학과 중등학교 교사 임용후보자 선정경쟁시험에서 요구되는 지식의 영역과 수준 분석)

  • This study examines the breadth and depth of knowledge of the teacher employment test for secondary mathematics. For the breadth of knowledge, we attempted to figure out the range of knowledge in terms of the content areas using the standards from the Korea Society Educational Studies in Mathematics[KSESM](2008). For the depth of knowledge, we chose Anderson & Krathwohl(2001) framework to analyze levels of each item in the test. The results from the analysis of 180 items in the teacher employment test between 2014 and 2021 show that while items in mathematics education have considerable variation in terms of range and levels of knowledge, those in some subjects of mathematics can be found only certain level of knowledge. i.e., merely certain topics or levels of knowledge have been heavily evaluated. Thus, considering the breadth and depth of knowledge teachers should have, the current exam needs to be improved in terms of teacher knowledge. It does not mean that every topic and every level of knowledge should be evaluated. However, it is a meaningful opportunity to think about what kinds of knowledge teachers should have in relation to K-12 mathematics curriculum and how we can evaluate the knowledge. More collaborative effort is inevitable for the improvement of teacher knowledge and teacher employment test.

Analyzing Effective Poll Prediction Model Using Social Media (SNS) Data Augmentation (소셜 미디어(SNS) 데이터 증강을 활용한 효과적인 여론조사 예측 모델 분석)

  • During the election period, many polling agencies survey and distribute the approval ratings for each candidate. In the past, public opinion was expressed through the Internet, mobile SNS, or community, although in the past, people had no choice but to survey the approval rating by relying on opinion polls. Therefore, if the public opinion expressed on the Internet is understood through natural language analysis, it is possible to determine the candidate's approval rate as accurately as the result of the opinion poll. Therefore, this paper proposes a method of inferring the approval rate of candidates during the election period by synthesizing the political comments of users through internet community posting data. In order to analyze the approval rate in the post, I would like to suggest a method for generating the model that has the highest correlation with the actual opinion poll by using the KoBert, KcBert, and KoELECTRA models.

Issue tracking and voting rate prediction for 19th Korean president election candidates (댓글 분석을 통한 19대 한국 대선 후보 이슈 파악 및 득표율 예측)

  • With the everyday use of the Internet and the spread of various smart devices, users have been able to communicate in real time and the existing communication style has changed. Due to the change of the information subject by the Internet, data became more massive and caused the very large information called big data. These Big Data are seen as a new opportunity to understand social issues. In particular, text mining explores patterns using unstructured text data to find meaningful information. Since text data exists in various places such as newspaper, book, and web, the amount of data is very diverse and large, so it is suitable for understanding social reality. In recent years, there has been an increasing number of attempts to analyze texts from web such as SNS and blogs where the public can communicate freely. It is recognized as a useful method to grasp public opinion immediately so it can be used for political, social and cultural issue research. Text mining has received much attention in order to investigate the public's reputation for candidates, and to predict the voting rate instead of the polling. This is because many people question the credibility of the survey. Also, People tend to refuse or reveal their real intention when they are asked to respond to the poll. This study collected comments from the largest Internet portal site in Korea and conducted research on the 19th Korean presidential election in 2017. We collected 226,447 comments from April 29, 2017 to May 7, 2017, which includes the prohibition period of public opinion polls just prior to the presidential election day. We analyzed frequencies, associative emotional words, topic emotions, and candidate voting rates. By frequency analysis, we identified the words that are the most important issues per day. Particularly, according to the result of the presidential debate, it was seen that the candidate who became an issue was located at the top of the frequency analysis. By the analysis of associative emotional words, we were able to identify issues most relevant to each candidate. The topic emotion analysis was used to identify each candidate's topic and to express the emotions of the public on the topics. Finally, we estimated the voting rate by combining the volume of comments and sentiment score. By doing above, we explored the issues for each candidate and predicted the voting rate. The analysis showed that news comments is an effective tool for tracking the issue of presidential candidates and for predicting the voting rate. Particularly, this study showed issues per day and quantitative index for sentiment. Also it predicted voting rate for each candidate and precisely matched the ranking of the top five candidates. Each candidate will be able to objectively grasp public opinion and reflect it to the election strategy. Candidates can use positive issues more actively on election strategies, and try to correct negative issues. Particularly, candidates should be aware that they can get severe damage to their reputation if they face a moral problem. Voters can objectively look at issues and public opinion about each candidate and make more informed decisions when voting. If they refer to the results of this study before voting, they will be able to see the opinions of the public from the Big Data, and vote for a candidate with a more objective perspective. If the candidates have a campaign with reference to Big Data Analysis, the public will be more active on the web, recognizing that their wants are being reflected. The way of expressing their political views can be done in various web places. This can contribute to the act of political participation by the people.

Presidential Candidate's Speech based on Network Analysis : Mainly on the Visibility of the Words and the Connectivity between the Words (18대 대통령 선거 후보자의 연설문 네트워크 분석: 단어의 가시성(visibility)과 단어 간 연결성(connectivity)을 중심으로)

  • This study explores the political meaning of candidate's speech and statement who run for the 18th presidential election in the viewpoint of communication. The visibility of the words and the connectivity between the words are analyzed in the viewpoint of structural aspect and the vision, policy. The visibility of the words is analyzed based on the frequency of the words mentioned in the speech or the statement. The connectivity between the words are analyzed based on the network analysis and expressed by graph. In the case of candidate Park, the key word is the happiness of the people and appointment. The key word for candidate Moon is regime change and the Korean Peninsula and the key word for candidate Ahn is the people and change. This study contributes positively to the study of candidate's discourse in the viewpoint of methodology by using network analysis and exploring scientifically the connectivity of the words. In the theoretical aspect this study uses the results of network analysis for revealing what is the leadership components in the speech and the statement. In conclusion, this study highlights the extension of the communication studies.

  • 대한산업보건협회는 7월 16일, 세종특별자치시 대평동 소재 세종자동차극장에서 협회 임직원 및 후보자가 참석한 가운데 임시총회를 열고 백헌기 전(前)안전보건공단이사장을 신임 회장으로 선출했다. 이날 임시총회는 코로나19 확산에 대한 우려로 인해 이례적으로 야외에서 진행됐다. 협회 임직원들은 자발적인 방역에 나서며 감염방지에 총력을 다했다.

Data analysis of the fourth Jeollabuk-do local election result (제4회 전라북도 지방선거 결과자료 분석)

  • The next local election for Jeollabuk-do will be held in 2010. In preparation for this, we conducted a study to observe whether or not if minute regionalism occurred during the fourth "Nationally coordinated local election" which was held on May 31st in 2006. This study is based on Jeollabuk-do provincial governor election data. For this, we introduced a RS index which is used to measure how evenly each candidate for governor of the province received votes, and chi-statistics that measure each candidate's local intimacy. Further more, we checked out whether minute regionalism occurred or not by putting to practical use correspondence analysis. As a result, we could confirm that minute regionalism occurred to a few candidates. After reviewing many measurements, we found that a RS index's validity is not high.

The main contents of this study is focused on analysis of orientation activities for each step of action learning process, project selection, analysis of problem clarification, review of data research and analysis, analysis of process for seeking of alternative and selecting execution item, comparison and analysis for the results of execution.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine sidedness effects of political Ad message and moderating roles of consumers' persuasion knowledge. To test these research hypotheses, this study conducted experimental designs. 125 undergraduate students were assigned to one of the two experimental groups. The data demonstrate that message types have a significant effect on both reliability toward Ad message and acceptance intention. In addition, consumers' persuasion knowledge plays a significant moderating role between the message types and the dependent variables. The results of this study suggest various implications by indicating political Ad message as an important factor which can enhance customers' positive responses but has been passed over by the previous research. We also indicated the limitations of this study, and suggested the future research directions.

  • 대한민국 20대 총선, 영국의 유럽연합 탈퇴인 브렉시트, 트럼프와 힐러리의 대결인 미국 대선, 이 셋의 공통점은 언론의 예측과 다른 투표 결과가 나왔다는 점이다. 이러한 일련의 사건들로 인해, 각종 언론사에서 실시하고 있는 표본조사의 신뢰도에 대한 근본적 재검토의 필요성이 제기되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 선거 후보자 지지율을 효율적이며 효과적으로 분석하기 위하여 SNS 감정분석을 제안한다. SNS 감정분석은 기존의 표본을 구하고 분석하는 방식보다 더 빠르게 표본 수집 및 분석이 가능하다. 또한 R프로그램과 구글을 이용하여 처리하기 때문에 기존 방식에 비하여 매우 저렴하다. 현재 언론사의 예측이 빗나가고 있는 시점에서 SNS 감정분석이 훌륭한 대안이 될 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서의 트래픽*감정분석 점수를 보았을 때, SNS 감정분석이 여론을 더 정확히 반영한다는 것을 증명한다.

  • When we evaluate prospective students in the interview process, we have to implement a system in which each student can be fairly judged. This process, the standardization of the scores which the interviewers have produced based on a student's performance, is implemented to ensure that each student receives a score that objectively translates one's performance. Although we don't know exactly how effective the standardization is in many different cases, we have researched which standardization methods are most stable and have minimum risks among the four methods such as STD, Range, MAD and IQR. These methods use scales such as standard deviation, range, maximum median and interquartile range.
