Change Monitoring in Ecological Restoration Area of Open-Pit Mine Using Drone Photogrammetry (드론사진측량을 이용한 노천광산 생태복원지역의 변화 모니터링)

  • In this study, analyze and monitor the change of the ecological restoration area inside the open-pit mine in Gangwon-do. and to analyze and monitor the change of ecological restoration area. analyzed the distribution of vegetation using high-resolution orthophoto of various periods and analyzed terrain change using DSM/DEM in study area. Therefore, orthophoto and 포인트 클라우드 were collected from 2014 aerial laser surveying and 2015 fixed-wing drone photogrammetry. In addition, orhtophoto and 포인트 클라우드 were produced by using rotary-wing drone photogrammety in 2016, and change of ecological restoration area was analyzed using this. As a result, it's possible to perform change monitoring of the open-pit mine ecological restoration area. using nEGI and VARI, about 10-30% of the area ratio of the result of extracting vegetation distribution area is distributed, and the comparison DSM and DEM cross section and restoration plan line, the cross section made by using the drone were similar, and the earth-volume analysis was possible.

Hydraulic Resistance Characteristics of Compacted Weathered Granite Soil by Rotating Cylinder Test and Image Analysis (영상처리기법과 회전식 수리저항성능 실험을 이용한 다짐화강풍화토의 수리저항특성 분석)

  • Recently, in Korea, problems related with unstability of slope or sinkhole in urban area due to erosion of compacted granite soil which was used as a backfill or embankment material have been treated as important issues. Small hole might develop inside of backfill area due to erosion of not only weathered granite soil but also clay, silt, fine sand size particles when underground water flows. Once erosion starts in a soil mass, erosion rate increases gradually to cause rapid destruction. In this study, a rotating cylinder test (RCT) was performed to evaluate the hydraulic resistance characteristics of compacted weathered granite soil under various relative densities and preconsolidation pressures. Meanwhile, an image analysis method was introduced to analyze radius of irregularly eroded sample. It was found that image analysis is an effective means of minimizing the error in calculating a critical shear stress and threshold shear stress on the irregularly eroded sample. Furthermore, in general, hydraulic resistance capacity increases with the increase of relative density and preconsolidation pressure.

  • The Average Coordinate Referenee System (ACRS) method is developed to reduce experimental errors in human locomotion analysis. Experimentally measured kinematic data is used to conduct analysis in human modeling, and the model accuracy is directly related to the accuracy of the data. However. the accuracy is questionable due to skin movement. deformation of skeletal structure while in motion and limitations of commercial motion analysis system . In this study. the ACRS method is applied to an optically-tracked segment marker system. although it can be applied to many of the others as well. In the ACRS method, each marker can be treated independently. as the origin of a local coordinate system for its body segment. Errors, inherent in the experimental process. result in different values for the recovered Euler angles at each origin. By employing knowledge of an initial, calibrated segment reference frame, the Euler angles at each marker location can be averaged. minimizing the effect of the skin extension and rotation. Using the developed ACRS methodology the error is reduced when compared to the general Euler angle method commonly applied in motion analysis. If there is no error exist in the experimental gait data. the separation and Penetration distance of the femoraltibial joint using absolute coordinate system is supposed to be zero during one gait cycle. The separation and Penetration distance was ranged up to 18 mm using general Euler angle method and 12 mm using the developed ACRS.

Stress Analysis of an Edge-Cracked Plate by using Photoelastic Fringe Phase Shifting Method (광탄성프린지 위상이동법을 이용한 에지균열판의 응력 해석)

  • The method of photoelasticity allows one to obtain principal stress differences and principal stress directions in a photoelastic model. In the classical approach, the photoelastic parameters are measured manually point by point. The previous methods require much time and skill in the identification and measurement of photoelastic data. Fringe phase shifting method has been recently developed and widely used to measure and analyze fringe data in photo-mechanics. This paper presents the test results of photoelastic fringe phase shifting technique for the stress analysis of a circular disk under compression and an edge-cracked plate subjected to tensile load. The technique used here requires four phase stepped photoelastic images obtained from a circular polariscope by rotating the analyzer at $0^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$ and $135^{\circ}$. Experimental results are compared with those or FEM. Good agreement between the results can be observed. However, some error may be included if the technique is used to general direction which is not parallel to isoclinic fringe.

  • 분류가 모서리에 충돌할 때 발생하는 순음성 소리인 쐐기소리(edgetone)는 공력음향의 대표적인 현상으로서 지금까지 수많은 연구가 있어 왔으며 그 대부분의 특성이 규명되었다고 할 수 있다. 쐐기소리의 발생기구인 되먹임(feedback) 이론을 처음으로 제안한 이는 Powell로서 그는 되먹임사이클의 위상조건에 의하여 주파수특성에 관한 모델을 제안하였으며, 최근 그 모델의 위상인자에 관하여 Kwon은 새로운 값을 제안한 바 있다. 그런데, 쐐기소리의 이론은 주로 분류가 쐐기나 벽에 충돌할 경우에 집중되어 왔으며 분류가 원통에 충돌하여 발생하는 경우에 관한 연구는 Krothapalli의 초음속분류에 관한 연구와 Mochizuki등의 아음속분류에서 원통지름의 영향에 관한 연구를 들 수 있을 뿐이다. Mochizuki등은 원통의 지름이 노즐의 높이보다 작은 경우에 쐐기 소리의 주파수가 원통의 와류이탈(vortex shedding) 주파수와 같은 것을 관찰하였다. 그러나 분류와 원통이 작용하여 발생하는 쐐기소리의 주파수 특성에 관한 이론적 해석을 시도한 연구는 없으며 또한 방사음장의 특성에 관하여도 Han과 Kwon에 의한 모델이 발표된 바 있으나 실험적으로 입증되지 못하였다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적은 2 fig.1과 같이 2차원 분류가 원통에 충돌할 때 발생하는 쐐기소리의 주파수특성의 정량적인 모델을 세우고 방사음장의 지향특성의 이론 모델을 확립하는 것이다. 먼저 주파수특성을 실험하고 되먹임이론을 적용하여 분석하므로써 유효음원의 위치를 구하고 또한, 수직벽에 작용하여 발생하는 충돌음(impinging tone)의 경우를 실험하여 주파수특성을 비교 고찰하므로써 유효음원의 위치에 관한 이론을 입증한다. 아울러 원통과 평면벽의 각 경우에 방사음장의 지향특성을 측정하고 고찰한다.2,5,6]을 단계별로 고찰하여, 점점 까다로워져 가는 선박 진동규제[3,4]에 대처하고 승무원의 안락성에 대한 욕구, 구조물의 안전성, 장비의 성능보존이 만족되는 저진동 선박의 건조를 위해 향후 해결해야할 과제들을 도출하여 선박진동분야이 연구개발 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 하는 것은 진단의 정밀도에 문제가 있을 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 언어적진리치가 도입되어 [상당히 확실], [확실], [약간 확실] 등의 언어적인 표현을 이용하여 애매성을 표현하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 간이진단 결과로부터 추출된 애매한 진단결과중에서 가장 가능성이 높은 이상원인을 복수로 선정하고, 여러 종류의 수치화할 수 없는 언어적(linguistic)인 정보ㄷㄹ을 if-then 형식의 퍼지추론으로 종합하는 회전기계의 이상진단을 위한 정밀진단 알고리즘을 제안하고 그 유용성을 검토한다. 존재하여도 모우드 변수들을 항상 정확하게 구할 수 있으며, 또한 알고리즘의 안정성이 보장된 것이다.. 여기서는 실험실 수준의 평 판모델을 제작하고 실제 현장에서 이루어질 수 있는 진동제어 구조물에 대 한 동적실험 및 FRS를 수행하는 과정과 동일하게 따름으로써 실제 발생할 수 있는 오차나 error를 실험실내의 차원에서 파악하여 진동원을 있는 구조 물에 대한 진동제어기술을 보유하고자 한다. 이용한 해마의 부피측정은 해마경화증 환자의 진단에 있어 육안적인 MR 진단이 어려운 제한된 경우에만 실제적 도움을 줄 수 있는 보조적인 방법으로 생각된다.ofile whereas relaxivity at high field is not affected by τS. Fast Fingerprint Alignment Method and Weighted Feature Vector Extraction Method in Filterbank-Based Fingerprint Matching (필터뱅크 기반 지문정합에서 빠른 지문 정렬 방법 및 가중치를 부여한 특징 벡터 추출 방법)

  • Minutiae-based fingerprint identification systems use minutiae points, which cannot completely characterize local ridge structures. Further, this method requires many methods for matching two fingerprint images containing different number of minutiae points. Therefore, to represent the fired length information for one fingerprint image, the filterbank-based method was proposed as an alternative to minutiae-based fingerprint representation. However, it has two shortcomings. One shortcoming is that similar feature vectors are extracted from the different fingerprints which have the same fingerprint type. Another shortcoming is that this method has overload to reduce the rotation error in the fingerprint image acquisition. In this paper, we propose the minutia-weighted feature vector extraction method that gives more weight in extracting feature value, if the region has minutiae points. Also, we Propose new fingerprint alignment method that uses the average local orientations around the reference point. These methods improve the fingerprint system's Performance and speed, respectively. Experimental results indicate that the proposed methods can reduce the FRR of the filterbank-based fingerprint matcher by approximately 0.524% at a FAR of 0.967%, and improve the matching performance by 5% in ERR. The system speed is over 1.28 times faster.

A Investigation on Inelastic Lateral-Torsional Buckling Strength of I-Beam with Load Height Effects (하중고 효과가 비탄성 I형보의 횡-비틀림 좌굴거동에 미치는 영향 고찰)

  • 일반적으로 I형 보에 횡하중이 작용하는 경우, 횡 변위와 함께 회전을 동반하는 횡-비틀림 좌굴(Lateral-Torsional Buckling)이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 I형 보의 탄성 및 비탄성 횡-비틀림 좌굴에 대한 해석적 이론적 연구는 이미 많은 연구자들에 의해 수행되었다(Timoshenko 등, 1961; Galambos, 1963; Lindner, 1974; Trahair, 1993). I형 보의 비지지 길이 내 하중이 작용할 때 모멘트 구배계수(Cb)는 하중이 부재 단면에 작용하는 위치에 따라 달라지게 되는데 이를 하중고 효과(Load Height Effects)라고 한다. 탄성 영역 내 비지지길이가 존재하는 I형 보의 하중고 효과를 고려한 모멘트 구배계수 제안식은 Nethercot & Rockey(1971)에 의해 연구된 바 있다. 또한 Helwig 등(1997)은 Nethercot & Rockey(1971)의 제안식을 간략화 하여 탄성 영역 내 비지지길이가 존재하는 I형 보의 하중고 효과를 고려한 모멘트 구배계수식을 제안하였다. 그러나 현재까지 진행 된 하중고 효과에 대한 연구는 탄성 영역 내 비지지 길이가 존재하는 I형 보에 대한 제안식이며 현재까지 비탄성 영역 내 비지지 길이를 갖는 I형 보의 하중고 효과에 대한 연구는 진행된 바 없다. 본 연구는 비탄성 영역 내 비지지 길이가 존재하는 I형 보의 하중고 효과를 고려한 비탄성 횡-비틀림 좌굴강도에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 하중조건으로는 집중하중 과 등분포 하중을 적용시켰으며, 비선형 횡-비틀림 좌굴 해석을 위해 잔류응력 및 초기변형을 고려하였다. Pi와 Trahair(1995)이 고려한 단순직선분포를 잔류응력으로 가정하였으며, 국내 I형강 표준 치수 허용치(현대제철, 2006)에 근거하여 부재 길이의 0.1%를 초기 최대 횡 변위로 적용하여 초기제작오차로 고려하였다. 유한요소해석결과를 바탕으로 Nethercot & Rockey(1971)와 Helwig 등(1997)의 연구내용을 바탕으로 범용구조해석 프로그램(ABAQUS, 2007)을 이용하여 비탄성 영역 내 존재하는 I형보의 횡-비틀림 좌굴강도를 산정하였다. 유한요소해석결과를 바탕으로 Nethercot & Rockey(1971)및 Helwig 등(1997)의 모멘트구배계수 제안식과 비교 분석 하였고 회기분석프로그램 MINITAB(2006)을 이용하여 비탄성 영역 내 비지지길이가 존재하는 I형보의 하중고 효과를 고려한 모멘트구배계수식을 개발 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 제안식은 경제적이고 합리적인 휨부재 강도평가에 적극 활용될 수 있으며, 비탄성 영역내 I형보의 횡-비틀림 좌굴강도 및 휨강도 연구에 널리 활용될 것이다.

Study on the Dynamic Behavior Characteristics due to the Unbalance High Speed Railway Vehicle Wheel (고속철도차량용 차륜 불평형에 의한 동적 거동 특성 연구)

  • This occurs when the unbalanced rotating body is inconsistent with the mass center line axis geometric center line. Wheelsets are assembled by a single axle with two wheels and a rotating body of a running railway vehicle. Owing to non-uniformity of the wheel material, the wear, and error of the wheel and axle assembly may cause an imbalance. Wheelsets will suffer the effects of vibrations due to the unbalanced mass, which becomes more pronounced due to the thin and high-speed rotation compared to the shaft diameter This can affect the driving safety and the running behavior of a rail car during high-speed running. Therefore, this study examined this unbalanced wheel using a railway vehicle multibody dynamics analysis tool to assess the impact of the dynamic VI-Rail movement of high-speed railway vehicles. Increasing the extent of wheel imbalance on the analysis confirmed that the critical speed of a railway vehicle bogie is reduced and the high-speed traveling dropped below the vehicle dynamic behaviour. Therefore, the adverse effects of the amount of a wheel imbalance on travel highlight the need for management of wheel imbalances. In addition, the static and dynamic management needs of a wheel imbalance need to be presented to the national rail vehicles operating agency.

  • Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is a solid-state joining process involving the frictional heat between the materials and tools. The amount of heat conducted into the workpiece determines the quality of the welded zone. Excessive heat input is the cause of oxides and porosity defects, and insufficient heat input can cause problems, such as tunnel defects. Therefore, analyzing the temperature history and distribution at the center of the Friction Stir Welded zone is very important. In this study, the temperature distribution of the friction stir welding region of an AZ61 magnesium alloy was investigated. To achieve this goal, the temperature and metal flow was predicted using the finite element method. In FE analysis, the welding tool was simplified and the friction condition was optimized. Moreover, the temperature measuring test at the center of the welding region was performed to verify the FE results. In this study, the tool rotation speed was a more dominant factor than the welding speed. In addition, the predicted temperature at the center of the welding region showed good agreement with the measurement results within the error range of 5.4% - 7.7%.

  • A time scale modification method yielding rate-modified speech while conserving the characteristic of speech was implemented in real-time using a goneral purpose digital signal processor. Time scale modification changed pronunciation speed only, producing a time difference between the input signal and the modified signal, making it impossible to implement it in real-time. In this thesis, a system was implemented to remove the time difference between the input and modified signals. Speech signals slowed down or speeded up by a physical time scale modification method, such as adjusting the motor speed of the cassett tape recorder, was used as the input signal. Physical modification that controled only the inter speed of the cassette tape player distorted the pitch period of the original speech. In this study, a real-time system was implemented so that the pitch-distorted speech was reconstructed back to the original by fractional sampling pitch shifting using an FIR filter, and this signal was time scale modified to match the cassette tape recorder motor speed using SOLA time-scale medification. In experiments using speech signals medifiedby the proposed method, results obtained using a 16-bit resolution ADSP2101 processor and using computer simulations employing floating point operations showed about the same average frame signal-to-noise ratio of about 20 dB.
