A Study on the PRC Generation Algorithms for Virtual Reference Stations Using a Network of DGNSS Reference Stations (DGNSS 기준국 네트워크를 활용한 가상기준국 보정정보 생성 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • For service-area-widening and commercialization of DGNSS service, Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs is developing a DGNSS service based on VRS using T-DMB. In this study, three PRC generation algorithms are developed for VRS DGNSS and their accuracies were evaluated. Three DGNSS correction generation algorithms are based on inverse distance weighting, 1st- and 2nd- multiple linear regression, and their positioning accuracies were compared in terms of the number of reference stations used for network composition and the algorithm type. As a result, the positioning accuracy of the case of using 16 sites is better than that of 6 sites. And the algorithm using the multiple linear regression showed the best performance. When the positioning accuracy of VRS DGNSS was compared with the traditional single-reference DGNSS, the improvement ratio was 20-23% and 20-36% for the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively.

Estimation of Wood Oven-Dry Density by Using a Portable Dielectric Moisture Meter (휴대용 유전율식 수분계를 이용한 목재의 전건밀도 추정)

  • Tripitaka Koreana in Haein Temple, Hapcheon Province is the most historical and largest heritage in this country, however the species of their blocks have yet been unknown. A nondestructive test method is necessary to investigate their species. The oven-dry density of wood was measured by inversely using the principle of high frequency moisture meter. The oven-dry densities of more than 100 domestic species of specimens estimated by measurement method and high frequency moisture meter were compared and following conclusions were obtained. There was highly close correlation between the oven-dry density estimated by measurement method and the oven-dry density estimated by high frequency moisture meter. The densities of Tripitaka Koreana that was a global cultural heritage could be correctly estimated by using high frequency moisture meter and the equilibrium moisture content under which Tripitaka Koreana equilibrated, thus, it was expected to provide the key to species identification.

  • The purposes of this study is to examine the effect of fitness Among Characteristics of CEO, Company's innovation and Management Control on Organization Performance. CEO characteristics are investigated by the risk-taking propensity, need for achievement. Company's Innovation are measured by product innovation, technological innovation. Management control are applied by action control and result control. Organization performances are analyzed by internal performance, growth performance, financial performance. the research methodology applied in this paper is contingency theory by Drazin and Van de Ven(1985) - selective approach, Interaction approach, system approach. This paper was applied by the Three way interaction term among CEO characteristics, Company's Innovation and Management control to analyze the influences to the organization performances. As a result of this paper, there are the differences between Two way interaction terms or three way interaction terms to affect the organization performances. this paper can confirm the desirable combinations between two or three variables(CEO characteristics, Company's Innovation and Management control) to affect significantly to the particular organization performance.

Optimal Structural Design of a Tonpilz Transducer by Means of the Finite Element Method (유한요소법을 이용한 Tonpilz 트랜스듀서의 최적구조 설계)

  • In this study, with the FEM we analyzed the variation of the resonance frequency, bandwidth, and sound pressure of the Tonpilz transducer in relation to its design variables. Through statistical multiple regression analysis of the results, we derived functional forms of the resonance frequency, bandwidth, and sound pressure in terms of the design variables. By applying the constrained optimization technique, SQP-PD, to the derived function, we determined the optimal structure of the transducer that could provide the highest sound pressure level at the resonance frequency of 30,000 Hz and having the -3 dB bandwidth more than 10%, The validity of the optimized results was confirmed through comparison of the optimal performance with that of the FEA. The optimal design method proposed could reflect all the cross-coupled effects of multiple structural variables, and could determine the detailed geometry of the transducer with great efficiency and rapidity.

  • Autocorrelation in time series data can affect statistical inference in correlation or regression analyses. To improve a regression model from which the residuals are autocorrelated, Yule-Walker method, nonlinear least squares estimation, maximum likelihood method and 'prewhitening' method have been used to estimate the parameters in a regression equation. This study reviewed on the estimation methods of preventing spurious correlation in the presence of autocorrelation and applied the former three methods, Yule-Walker, nonlinear least squares and maximum likelihood method, to a 20-year real data set. Monte carlo simulation was used to compare the three parameter estimation methods. However, the simulation results showed that the mean squared error distributions from the three methods simulated do not differ significantly.

  • This study proposes a approximate cost estimation system based on Excel with VBA using weighted CBR(Case Based Reasoning). One characteristic of this system is that it generates the sheet automatically as many as the number of similar case and new estimation when it performs a case learning and a new estimate and cell formula is automatically entered into each sheet. User can be free to compose a combination of attribute factors because they can select up to ten attribute factors. This paper presents an applicability of estimation model for estimating the soil remediation cost when it use a landfarming method. When compared to a estimation model by using average unit cost and optimum multiple regression, this model shows a better result. This study was aimed at landfarming method, but it is expected that a cost estimation model using CBR will be more likely to apply in soil remediation technologies which various remediation technologies and pollutant species exist.

  • 낙동강 수계 다목적댐 하류 지역에 대한 홍수조절 의사결정 능력을 향상시키고자 강우- 유출 모형으로 선정된 저류함수법으로 낙동강 수계 다목적댐 하류부의 유역유출 체계를 먼저 구 성하였다. 저류함수법에 의한 낙동강 수계 유역유출 체계도는 유역의 물리적 특성을 감안하여 소 유역은 41개, 하동망은 28개로 구성하였다. 또한 수문학적 하도추적 기법이 갖는 결점을 보완하기 위하여 낙동강 본류 및 상류에 댐이 있는 금호강, 황강, 남강, 밀양강 등 1 지류 이상의 홍수추적 을 수리학적 모형으로 보완하여 유역유출 체계를 이원화하여 두시스템을 상호·연계할 수 있도록 하였다. 상기 두 시스템을 '93년 8월 홍수(8, 7~8, 15)에 시험 적용하였다. 모형수행 경과 홍수기 댐운영시 저류함수모형에 의한 강우 유출 모형과 수리학적 하도추적 모형을 통합한 시스템을 동시에 적용하여 상호 보완 과정을 통해 운영한다면 다목적댐의 홍수조절 의사결정능력을 향상시킬 수 있다고 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 사용자가 해석적 방법으로 유역에서 수문자료를 이용하여 매개변수를 대화식으로 산정할 수 있는 GUI 시스템을 EXCEL97 환경에서 개발하여 신뢰성 있는 Rating curve가 확보 상·하류에 위치한 12개 수위관측소에서 89개 홍수사상을 대상으로 유역의 매개변수를 산정하였다. 또한, 미계측 유역의 저류함수 관련 매개변수 확장을 위하여 12개 소유역 에 대한 매개변수의 평균값과 유역면적, 하도연장 및 경사, 유역의 사면경사 등의 지형인자들을 조합하여 지역화분석을 수행하여 미계측 유역의 매개변수 산정식으로 제안하였다. 본 회귀식으로 산정된 소유역별 매개변수를 '93년 8월 홍수(8, 7~8, 15)에 적용한 결과, 낙동강 수계 본류상 주요 수위관측소별 홍수량예측이 이근천공식 보다 양호한 결과를 주어 본 연구에서 제시한 유역의 매 개변수 회귀식은 미계측 유역의 매개변수 산정시 충분한 활용성을 입증하였다. 저류함수법에 의 한 낙동강 수계 다목적댐 하류부의 유역유출 체계도는 수리학적 하도추적 모형과의 연계와 유역 의 물리적 특성을 감안하여 현재의 홍수통제소에서 운영하는 홍수예경보 시스템의 유출체계도와 우리공사 물관리 상황실의 저수관리 모형의 유출체계도를 기준으로 재구성하여 다목적댐 하류부의 소유역은 41개, 하도망은 28개로 결정하였다.

Head Pose Estimation Based on Perspective Projection Using PTZ Camera (원근투영법 기반의 PTZ 카메라를 이용한 머리자세 추정)

  • This paper describes a head pose estimation method using PTZ(Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera. When the external parameters of a camera is changed by rotation and translation, the estimated face pose for the same head also varies. In this paper, we propose a new method to estimate the head pose independently on varying the parameters of PTZ camera. The proposed method consists of 3 steps: face detection, feature extraction, and pose estimation. For each step, we respectively use MCT(Modified Census Transform) feature, the facial regression tree method, and the POSIT(Pose from Orthography and Scaling with ITeration) algorithm. The existing POSIT algorithm does not consider the rotation of a camera, but this paper improves the POSIT based on perspective projection in order to estimate the head pose robustly even when the external parameters of a camera are changed. Through experiments, we confirmed that RMSE(Root Mean Square Error) of the proposed method improve $0.6^{\circ}$ less then the conventional method.

A Study on the Optimal Welding Condition for Root-Pass in Horizontal Butt-Joint TIG Welding (수평자세 맞대기 TIG 초층용접에서 최적용접조건의 선정에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, to investigate the shape of the back bead as a weld quality parameter and to select the optimal condition of the root-pass TIG welding of a horizontal butt-joint, an experimental design and the response surface method (RSM) have been employed. Three parameters are used as input variables, which include the base current, peak current, and welding speed. The back bead width is selected as an output variable representing the weld quality, the target value of the width is 5.4 mm. Conducting the experiments according to the Box-Behnken experimental design, a $2^{nd}$ regression model for the back bead width was made, and the validation of the model was confirmed by using the F-test. The desirability function was designed through the nominal-the-best formula for the appropriate back bead width. Finally, the following optimal condition for welding was selected using the RSM: base current of 0.9204, peak current of 0.8676, and welding speed of 0.3776 in coded values. For verification, a test welding process under the optimal condition was executed and the result showed the back bead width of 5.38 mm that matched the target value well.

  • 최근 전세계적으로 유가 상승 및 배기가스 배출 저감과 관련된 각종 환경규제에 대응하기 위하여 선진 자동차회사들은 $CO_2$ 배출 저감 기술과 기존 내연기관 차량의 연비향상을 위해 엔진성능 개선, 구동시스템의 최적화, 차량 경량화, 공기저항 감소 등에 초점을 맞춰 차량의 연비향상과 배기가스 규제에 대응하고 있다. 특히, 자동차 중량의 30%를 차지하는 차체의 경량화는 엔진효율을 높여 자동차의 성능향상을 극대화시키고, 그로 인해 연비향상을 도모할 수 있으므로 환경오염 방지와 연료절감에 가장 적합하고 효과적인 방법이다. 이에 기존의 강재에 비해 비중이 낮으면서 유사한 강도와 내식성이 뛰어난 알루미늄 합금의 차체 적용에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 자동차 Door에 알루미늄 합금(Al 5052)의 적용 가능성을 판단하기 위해 반응표면분석법(Response surface methodology)을 이용하여 저입열 Pulse MIG 용접 공정변수를 최적화하였다. 첫째, 저입열 Pulse MIG 용접에서 용접 공정 변수(용접전압, 용접속도, Gap)의 변화가 비드 형상에 미치는 영향에 대해 평가하였다. 요인분석법을 이용하여 용접 공정 변수와 비드 형상 변수와의 주효과와 교호작용효과를 분석하였고, 이를 통해 비드 형상 변수에 영향을 크게 미치는 용접 공정변수를 선별하여 다중회귀분석을 통해 용접 공정 변수 변화에 따른 비드형상 예측 회귀모델을 제안하였다. 둘째, 자동차 Door 생산 현장에서 박판 알루미늄 합금 겹치기 용접 이음부의 0~1 mm 갭 발생에 대해 강건한 용접조건을 제시하기 위해 반응표면법(Response surface methodology)을 이용하여 저입열 Pulse MIG 용접 공정 변수를 최적화하였고, 그 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.
