Many students with disabilities at the university face difficulties in educational inequity, cultural isolation, information illiteracy, and discrimination in the broad range of campus activities. The biggest barrier is the lack or difficulty of access to knowledge and information needed for learning. Libraries, therefore, must not discriminate against students with disabilities and should ensure equal access to and use of information resources and services. This paper analyzed the satisfaction and requirements on facility and space services, direct and indirect services, total library service of students with disabilities based on the results of the survey and interview. This paper suggested ways to improve service satisfaction of students with disabilities in a university library.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the meaning of leisure experiences in the lives of unmarried women. To accomplish this purpose, this study focused on the cultural context of leisure activity of unmarried women. A total of 4 participants were selected through the process of purposive sampling. An ethnographic data was collected by the method of 'experiential description' phenomenologically based data on the leisure experience, participant observation, and in-depth interview. All verbal data from experiential description, participation observation, and in-depth interview were tape recorded and later transcribed, and analyzed through constant comparative method based on the phenomenological analysis. The following findings were the result of this study. three definitional components of leisure experience of unmarried women were identified as follows: 1) enjoyment and interest, 2) escape, and 3) freedom.

Traditionally the women have had responsibility for homework, blinding-up of the children and caring of the aged in the family. But in models society the women would like to take jobs much more than in the past, and therefore women who have jobs are in the condition of mental and physical stress very heavily. So it is urgently needed of the social-political arrangements for caring-worker in the family (generally the women). This paper examines this problem, especially problem of the nursing of the aged in the family, and compares the political arrangements between in Korea and Germany.

This research investigates on relationships between game experience and its positive effects by using social self-efficacy measurement. When playing MMORPG, game users communicate with each other and go through various social experiences. Thus, online game offer a virtual place where we can have social interactions and it eventually expands our daily life. In this study, we used regression analysis to explore how online game experiences influence social self-efficacy. The results indicated that a group with higher frequency game use presented higher social self-efficacy. We suggest future researches and discussions focusing on the positive effects of game use rather than negative issues and game restrictions.

This study considers the role of Mathematics as a language and the value of reading in the mathematics class. Linking mathematics instruction to literature has become popular in recent year for variety of reason. We want to illuminate the meaning of literature-based Mathematics. We suggest the viewpoint of how to appropriately select math-related literature. The focus of this study is to suggest how to use children's literature to effectively teach mathematics. Through attention to the mathematics in literature, we motivate students and provoke students' interest for mathematics. Children's literature, what is more, helps students connect mathematical ideas to their personal experience and realize that mathematics is a spontaneous and natural expression of human minds. Literature in mathematics class provides students advanced mathematical thinking for problem solving.

This study examines farmers' knowledge and perception on the functions and values of wetland and their attitudes on government wetland policies in the state of Illinois in the United States. No significant differences were found in the knowledge of the functions and values of wetland between farmers and non-farmers, although farmers tend to value the importance of wetland less than non-farmers. However, farmers are negative on the importance of protecting wetland and replacing damaged or destroyed wetlands as well as stricter government wetland policies. It suggests that noticeable discrepancy exists between farmers' knowledge of wetland and their practice to protect wetland.

Classification is presented in the curriculum of elementary school mathematics, science, Korean language, and integrated subjects as the major function that needs to be learned. In addition, mathematics textbooks teach the classification as a basic process for organizing and interpreting collected materials in a separate unit. So, we analyzed the curriculum documents and textbooks of mathematics, science, Korean language, and integrated subjects. And we explored how to teach the classification in the context of mathematics subject. As a result, it is necessary to find different classification criteria in conjunction with detailed observation and investigation activities, and to teach that considering the circumstances and purpose of the classification. It also provided implications on how to revive converged classes that focus on big ideas and skills, which are commonly offered by various subjects.

메콩강 유역에서 가장 하류에 위치하고 있는 메콩 삼각주는 상류에 일어나는 많은 활동으로 인하여 높은 수준의 취약성을 지니고 있다. 기후 변화와 미래개발의 맥락에서 재해 위험을 평가하는 것은 기후현상/극한날씨, 취약성, 노출, 현재 위험 관리 및 적응을 충분히 고려할 필요가 있다. 홍수, 가뭄, 염수침입은 IQQQM과 IS 모델을 사용하여 분석하였다. 베트남 정부가 승인한 최신 기후변화 시나리오는 이 지역의 향후 토지이용, 물이용 및 상류에서의 수력발전 계획과 함께 모델링에 사용되었다. 홍수, 가뭄 및 염수치입 정도를 시뮬레이션 결과에 기초하여 평가하였고, 최종적으로 GIS 도구를 사용한 위험도 분석을 실시하였다. 리스크 분석 결과 저위험구역의 2모작 및 3모작 논의 면적은 6,381 ha로 떨어지고 중위험지역과 고위험구역의 2모작과 양식장 면적은 각각 약 7만 ha와 9,000 ha로 늘어나는 것으로 나타났다. 가뭄과 염도에 대한 위험 분석은 기후 변화와 해수면 상승으로 인한 위험의 심각성이 증가하는 것을 나타낸다. 분석 결과 메콩 삼각주에서는 전반적으로 향후 기후변화와 상류발전에 따른 부정적 영향으로 홍수 및 가뭄재해의 위험이 증가할 것으로 나타났다. 홍수 및 가뭄에 대한 보다 능동적이고 협력적인 관리가 향후 재난에 대비하여 지역사회의 탄력성을 유지하기 위해 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the dietary life units of Korean and American high school home economics textbook according to Habermas's three systems of action and to find out how the three systems of action are reflected in the learning objectives and activity tasks of the textbook. To achieve this purpose, this study analyzed the learning objectives and activity tasks of the dietary life units in the textbooks of 'technology & home economics' and 'home economics science' in Korea, and 'succeeding in life and career' in America using a content analysis technique based on Habermas's three systems of action. In analyzing the content, each learning objective or activity was matched with one of the three systems of action by examining the context. In some cases, two or more systems of actions were integrated in one activity. This is a case where a series of learning tasks that involve different action system were grouped into one. The numbers of learning objectives and activities of the units of 'technology & home economics', 'home economics science' textbooks of Korean high schools and 'succeeding in life and career' dietary life of American high schools were 3, 26, and 248, respectively. In Korean textbooks, the percentage of communicative action was highest among the three systems, that is, 66.7% for 'technology & home economics' textbooks and 50% for 'home economics science' textbooks. In comparison technical action was the highest in American textbooks at 66.5%. Activities related to technical action included cooking, conducting research on health and food, or conducting experiments. The activities related to communicative action included role play related to health and table manners, or writing reports after conducting surveys or interviewing professionals. The activities related to emancipative action were to social participation activities such as service project in relation to health and food, or to find problems that occur in dietary life and think about be best solution through practical reasoning.
