This paper will study on the films of Chang-dong Lee, focused on , , .These films concentrate on the internal mind of hero and heroine who react actively to social reality around their environment. Also these films share another common thing which retain to strong emotional tie with spectator, based on the sympathy through the identification of hero. , < Peppermint Candy> represent to the mixture of realism and de-realism.. Specially shows the mixture of the realism and fantasy. This Quest for the films of Chang-dong Lee will include discussion of a critical attitude from realism, discussion of de-realism factors, and study of screen fantasy from the respective of psychoanalysis.

In this paper, an Inter-Digital Transducer (IDT) type Lamb wave sensor is proposed to estimate the geometry and number of cracks on a plate structure, and its validity is checked through experiments. This IDT type sensor is more readily controllable than conventional patch type piezoelectric sensors to modify its operation frequency and directionality by altering its finger patterns. In this work, omni-directional annular IDT and highly directional rectangular IDT sensors are designed and fabricated. The IDT sensors are used to diagnose the length, number and orientation of cracks on an aluminum plate by measuring the amplitude and time of flight of Lamb waves. The results are analyzed to discuss the efficacy of the IDT sensors.

According as the member of the automobile body structure have been thinned their thickness and have become high strength, each part of the body structure has been put more severe stress condition. And, because fatigue strength of the spot welded lap joint is influenced by its geometrical and mechanical factors, welding condition and etc., there needs a quantitative and systematic evaluation method for them. In this study, by considering nugget edge of the spot weld part of the IB-type spot welded lap joint under tension-shear load to the ligament crack. fatigue strength of various IB-type spot welded lap joints was estimated with the stress intensity factor(S.I.F.) KIII which is fracture mechanical parameter. We could find that fatigue strength evaluation of the IB-type spot welded lap joints by KIII is more effective than the maximum principal stress ($\sigma$1max) at edge of the spot weld obtained from FEM analysis.

According as the members and inner and outer plates of the automobile body structure have been thinned their thickness and have become high strength, each part of the body structure has been put more severe stress condition. Therefore, it has been increasingly required to improve the fatigue strength of the spot welded structures. As one of the improving methods for such problem, the author had previously proposed the method of alleviating stress concentration at nugget edge of the spot weld part and improving its fatigue strength [1]. But, because fatigue strength of the spot welded lap joint is influenced by its geometrical and mechanical factors, welding condition and etc., there needs a quantitative and systematic estimation method of them. In this report, by considering nugget edge of the spot weld part of the spot welded lap joint subjected to tensile load to the ligament crack, fatigue strength of various spot welded lap joints was estimated with the stress intensity factor (S.I.F.) K which is fracture mechanical parameter. It is known that evaluation of fatigue strength of the spot welded lap joint by the stress intensity factor (S.I.F.) K is more effective than the maximum stress $(\sigma_{ymax}$) at edge of the spot weld part on the center line of width of the plate.

This article has attempted to explore the topic of everyday life and memory based on theoretical and methodological discussions on daily life, everydayness, sociology of everyday life, memory, social construction of memory, and social memory. In order to do this, Koreeda Hirokazu's debut feature film (Hirokazu Koreeda, 1995) which inquires about the encounters and separations, life and death in everyday life was selected as a research subject. According to the results, structured with 61 scenes talked that Yumiko's daily life was shattered in an instant due to Ikuo's death and her memory was also fragmented. But after that, her social memory can reconstruct a new daily life through the 'light' of will or hope for life. Hirokazu Koreeda tried to confirm that human encounters and partings, life and death are daily life itself or a part of it through 'light' such as sunlight and moonlight, street lamps and electric lamps in this film.

This study, approaching through view of Lacan and Althusser, is focused on conflicts and struggles concerning anniversaries in our society. August 15, Korean War, March 1 and Provisional Government are selected as subjects of the study, examining aspects of commemorative Struggle and changing process to those subjects. Means of the study are used through theories of Lacan and Althusser.The result of the study is analyzed that commemorative Struggle set up a starting point as the early modernization in the late 19th century. In other words, influence of modernization, which has been built up with a high hand though Japanese occupation, caused trauma and cracks. And this has been generated social conflicts, joining with ideology and fantasy. Converged point of this is Anniversary. If Anniversary and commemorative Struggle were inevitable to be existed as a phenomenon about social memory in the past, willpower heading to future should be reviewed through those days, to fill cracks of the society, not to return to the splitting past.

This study begins on the basis of Jacques Lacan's article 『Logical Time and Assertions of Preemptive Certainty: A New Sophism』 published in the reissue of 『Art Note Les Cahiers d'Art』 in March 1945. In this paper, a guard presents an esoteric problem to three prisoners. If the problem is solved, the prisoner is released. A condition is given to solve a problem. Conversation between prisoners is prohibited, and the disc behind them cannot be seen. In this time and space, prisoners place themselves in logical time through the 'time of understanding' in order to become the chosen ones. We always live in logical time. We will argue the point at which Lacan destroys logical time in psychoanalysis. Time in Lacanian psychoanalysis transcends time divisions of the past, present, and future. Our time is always the past in the present. In Lacanian psychoanalysis, logical time is the time in the Other. The transcendence of the Lacanian psychoanalysis concept of time shows the deviation of logical time. In this text, We try to prove how Lacan contrasts psychoanalysis and the problem of time with time in the other. First, we will examine how logical time and impulse are related in psychoanalysis. Second, the postmortemity of the signifient (signifier) will be discussed. Third, Lacan psychoanalysis will present the transcendence of time. In conclusion, We will present the view that the time of Lacan psychoanalysis is flowing backwards. In Lacanian psychoanalysis, we try to prove that logical time is in the territory of the Other and is infinite time.

This study will analyze the meaning of the signifiant, which occupies an absolute position in Lacanian psychoanalysis, and will prove the slip of meaning and signification that are accompanied together at the same time when the signifiant was utter through the subject. By directly citing the part where Lacan explained signification in his seminars and Écrits, I would like to examine how signifiant is carried out in everyday conversation. In addition, the dialogue that takes place in our discourse has the purposefulness and groundless purposelessness of the signifiant. Understanding this purpose is the core part that Lacanian psychoanalysis aims to pursue, and it discovers the cracks of the hidden meaning in the relationship between the signifiant and the signifiant connected to the next, presenting that the signifiant which arouses unrelenting fantasy of the subject is the practical ruler of body and mind. This thesis is aimed to present the above points mentioned above, and as an alternative to overcome the limitations of the signifiant, the ruler in discourse, this study would like to suggest the autonomy as a subject resisting against "Where it was, I must come into being," pursued by Lacan psychoanalysis.
