This paper explored undergraduates' LoHAS purchasing behavior and factors influencing the behavior, including' self-construal, and LoHAS values, attitudes and behavior. First, this study investigated how self-construal affected LoHAS values, and then analyzed how LoHAS values influenced LoHAS attitude and behavior. We administerd a survey with undergraduates attending a university located in the metropolitan area. The analysis results indicate that ecological self-construal affects LoHAS values. According to the analysis, both environmentalism and sustain ability of LoHAS values also affect LoHAS attitude, and then the attitude influences LoHAS behavior. This study shows the casual relationship between variables including self-construal, LoHAS values, attitude and behavior. In particular, this finding confirms that self-construal as one of psychological factors affects LoHAS consumers' values and behavior.

This article examines factors that influence health and quality of life. In addition to the symptomatology and physiological functioning, the influence of the psychological functioning and interpersonal relationship on the overall health and quality of life are also investigated. Using a case-study approach, a total of 70 patients suffering from allergy or asthma were interviewed using a semi-structured questionnaire developed by the present authors. It assessed the following six areas: Cause and onset of illness, psychological functioning, health management, trust, social support received and overall health and quality of life. Based on the transactional model (Bandura, 1997; Kim & Park, 2005), the results of the case studies have been integrated and divided into three aspects: (1) Cause and onset of illness that includes physiological and environment factors; (2) mediating influences that includes psychological functioning, health management, interpersonal relationship and social support received; and (3) outcome factor that includes symptomatology, health and quality of life. The psychological functioning includes self-efficacy (self-regulated efficacy, efficacy for enlisting social support, efficacy for managing the environment, and efficacy for overcoming difficulties), positive outlook, life goals, experience of stress, and proxy control. Interpersonal relationship includes trust of family members and the physician. Health management includes receiving proper health assessment, following the advice and prescription given by the physicians, control of the environment and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The results indicate that physiological, psychological, relational and environment factors interact with each other and affect individual's overall health and quality of life. Self-efficacy, social support received from family members, trust of physicians, and the health care system are key factors promoting healthy lifestyle and quality of life. The results indicate the need for further interdisciplinary, indigenous and cultural psychological research.
Given that SME workers are the driving force of national competitiveness and the basis and cornerstone of the industry, it is meaningful to study workers' job satisfaction and the factors that affect job satisfaction. In addition to variables related to corporate competitiveness and organizational justice, this study introduced variables such as environmental(E) activities, social(S) activities, and governance(G) activities, which th national government uses as major management evaluation indicators. Therefore, a literature study and empirical analysis were conducted on how self-efficacy affects job satisfaction when workers are faced with a changed work environment. To conduct this study, 300 copies of data were collected from workers in small and medium-sized enterprises and used for analysis. For data analysis, the SPSS statistical program (Ver. 25.0) was used. The study finds, first, that product or service quality and employee competency among corporate competitiveness had a significant positive(+) effect on job satisfaction. Secondly, among ESG management activities, social(S) activities and governance(G) activities were found to have a significant positive(+) effect on job satisfaction. Third, among organizational justice, distribution justice and procedural justice were found to have a positive(+) effect on job satisfaction. Fourth, self-efficacy was found to mediate the effect of product or service quality, employee competency, social(S) and governance(G) activities among ESG management activities, and procedural justice among organizational justice on job satisfaction. The academic value of this study is that it empirically analyzed the factors that ESG management activities affect workers' jobs,. As a result, it was confirmed that workers were satisfied with their jobs by actively showing interest in social(S) activities and governance(G) activities among ESG management activities and participating in corporate management. In addition, workers sensitive to changes in the external environment can become satisfied with their jobs through self-efficacy when SMEs actively enhance corporate competitiveness, execute ESG management activities, and provide a fair organizational culture. Finally, this study suggests that there's a possibility of improving the competitiveness of SMEs through a virtuous cycle created by a change in perception of job conversion and a decrease in turnover.

This paper presents a study on the development of next generation smart concrete in an eco-friendly manner using micro-biologically induced calcite precipitation (MICP) via microbial biomineralization. It seems that currently, the reformation and functional improvement of concrete using MICP can be achieved using Sporosarcina pasteurii, which is a representative microorganism that produces calcite precipitation. Based on previous studies on MICP the biochemical tests and crystallinity evaluation of cement using sporoasrcina pasteurii and four additional micro-organisms from the concrete structures as identified by 16S rDNA sequence analysis were conducted. Also by applying the Sporosarcina pasteurii and separated four effective micro-organisms from the concrete structures to mortar, the compressive strength improvement by varying curing conditions, repair of crack were examined, and plans for future study were suggested. The effect of the application of effective micro-organisms can lead to the development of a new material that will contribute to resolution of environmental problems and facilitate repair work, and this can also serve as a new research theme in the future. In addition, the importance of this study is to use micro-organism, which is found common in concrete structures, this new microbial is not only environmentally safe but also persists in the natural environment for an extended period of time. Therefore, it seems to have a great potential to became a new environmentally low-burdened functional material.
An 'Introduction to Creative Engineering Design' course at College of Engineering at Chungnam National University is required for all freshmen. The objective of this course is to educate the freshmen with basic engineering design concepts and experiences in creative problem-solving approaches. It provides the students learning opportunities in solving engineering design problems through team efforts and creative approaches. Thus, this course emphasizes creative ideas and thinking, engineering design experiences to students over the course. This study presents the syllabus, the examples of PBL (problem based learning)-related activities as a team, and the results of the course evaluation and outcomes. Based on the results of this study, we can conclude that overall this course using PBL method had significant positive effects on the course outcomes and the creativity of the engineering freshmen in the department of environmental engineering at Chungnam National University. However, there are still efforts to be needed to improve the PBL-related activities in the course, including students' workload, financial supports, and team work.

In this study, we surveyed the 68 teachers from eight science high school and four science academy for the gifted through questionnaires about research ethics education and ethical research environment in Korea. First, we examined the current state of research ethics education. Half of the responding schools included research ethics education in their curriculum. Although only half of the schools have this in their curriculum, more than half of the total number of teachers surveyed personally taught research ethics in class, and almost 90% of the teachers said they taught the research ethics during students' research activity. However, 63.24% of teachers said that research ethics education was not enough still. Second, we investigated the ethical research environment. In terms of knowledge and experience, the teachers were competent, and they were creating an environment that enabled peers and self-verification. However, research ethics, regulations and verification systems are not well equipped in schools. Since the principals are highly interested in research ethics education, there seems to be enough improvement on the ethical research environment. Finally, teachers said that additional research ethics education, change in student attitude, development and continuous maintenance of the verification system, encouragement to develop ethical environment, and clear guidelines were needed for ethical research of students. The result of this research will be able to provide the following. First, it will help set up a direction for research ethics education at every gifted school. Second, it will provide insights on how schools and teachers can create an ethical research environment for the students of science-gifted students.

For an unbiased TF (Tansfer Function) estimations we investigate geomagnetic TF derived from ICHEON and YONGIN sites, employing RR (Remote Reference) and SNS (Signal Noise Separation) techniques. The Rh technique, which requires synchronized field variations recorded at a clean remote site, is a reliable method to minimize the bias of TF by uncorrelated noises in magnetic channels. Meanwhile, SNS technique based on the assumption of noise-free remote data can improve the signal-noise level by separating signal TF and noise TF, which is successfully applied to the environments with strong correlated noises. In this study, TF at YONGIN is analyzed using geomagnetic data from ICHEON site as a remote reference, which seem to have somewhat better data quality. The application of Rh technique reduces the bias of TF, which appears in single site robust estimation, and makes curves in the amplitude and phase of TF more smooth as frequency. Futhermore, in order to investigate noise source quantitatively, SNS technique is applied. The results of SNS suggest that dominant noise source seems to be located at western region of YONGIN. This noise source is considered to originate from railway system such as KTX and national subway. which passes through the west regions of YONGIN.

Objectives : Psychiatric staffs may experience excessive work stress, burnout, and reduced job satisfaction in clinical settings. This can increase chances of diminishing their overall working efficiency or having difficulty managing their own mental health. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of group mindfulness-based cognitive therapy(MBCT) on job stress, burnout, self-efficacy, resilience, and job satisfaction. Methods : Twenty eight psychiatric staffs who agreed to participate in the study were included. Self-report questionnaires were used to measure job stress, burnout, resilience, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. To examine the effects of group MBCT, the scores were compared before and after MBCT. Results : Work stress and burnout scale scores were significantly decreased after group MBCT. Resilience, job satisfaction, and self-efficacy scale scores were significantly increased after group MBCT. Conclusions : In the current study, group MBCT for psychiatric staffs helped to reduce their work stress and burnout, and, as well, helped to improve resilience, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. This suggests that, in mental health treatment settings, psychiatric staffs can improve their mental health through group MBCT. Improving mental health of psychiatric staff may also have a positive impact on their patients.

Businesses have to survive and thrive in both domestic and international environments. In order to resolve these problems, new alternatives have been presented. These include the importance of women's resources and entrepreneurship of female CEOs. The sensibility, delicacy, creativity as well as the intuitive power of female CEOs, actively enables them to cope with the ever-changing environment. Because of the rapidly changing circumstances, the above mentions women's attributes are highlighted thus, causing women's roles in society to shift from their traditional tendencies to finding careers and their own identities. Due to this change in social roles, social interest and the values of female CEOs are being reevaluated. Accordingly, the conceptual consideration of female entrepreneurship (innovation, enterprise, risk sensitivity) as well as the factors to be considered for the entrepreneurship of female CEOs in order to promote knowledge management performance was derived in this research. The deducted implication of this research is that generally, the enterprise and risk sensitivity of entrepreneurship affect the knowledge management performance of female CEOs. It is therefore proved that in the case of female CEOs, entrepreneurship and self-efficacy are linked, allowing them to achieve the desired outcome for a specific task performance. Female CEOs are capable of company management through the mediating process of their enterprise, risk sensitivity, and self-efficacy and with faith in their knowledge management, will be able to achieve high performance. Therefore, using strengths and nature peculiar to women, women's economic activities derived from knowledge management based on entrepreneurship will not only help overcome the long-term economy crisis but also lead to high economic growth and development. This will be a dynamic force for the nation's new growth with financial means. The comparative study of existing results will also contribute in suggesting the direction of policies that will enable the success of female CEOs in entrepreneurship.
The magnetometer is one of the most important payloads for scientific satellite to monitor the near-earth space environment. The electromagnetic variations of the space environment can be observed with the electric and magnetic field measurements. In practice, it is well known that the measurement of magnetic fields needs less technical complexities than that of electric fields in space. Therefore the magnetometer has long been recognized as one of the basic payloads for the scientific satellites. In this paper, we discuss the scientific fluxgate magnetometer which will be on board the KITSAT-3. The main circuit design of the present magnetometer is based on that of KITSAT-1 and -2 but its facilities have been re-designed to improve the resolution to about 5nT for scientific purpose. The calibration and noise level test of this circuit have been performed at the laboratory of the Tierra Tecnica company in Japan.
