The Effects of Self-Awareness on Mental Health among Adolescents: Focusing on Life Satisfaction, Depression, and Anxiety (청소년의 자기인식이 정신건강에 미치는 영향: 삶의 만족, 우울, 불안을 중심으로)

  • This study verifies the effect of self-awareness on life satisfaction, depression, and anxiety as mental health indicators. An online survey, including self-awareness, life satisfaction, depression, and anxiety, was conducted on 300 adolescents, and the relationship between variables was observed through multiple regression analysis. As a result, adolescents' overall self-awareness significantly affected life satisfaction, depression, and anxiety. Moreover, the effect of self-awareness was confirmed on mental health by dividing it into private, public, and situational self-awareness: life satisfaction was predicted by public and situational self-awareness, while depression and anxiety were predicted through private self-awareness. The result shows that adolescents' self-awareness generally affects their mental health; however, positive and negative emotional factors are differentially affected by different types of self-awareness. This study confirms the importance of self-awareness in the process of improving mental health and quality of life in adolescence.

  • 본 연구는 부부의 감정적 자기노출 정도를 알아보고 그 유형을 분류한 뒤 관계되는 변인을 밝힘으로써 부부간의 감정적 자기노출에 관한 이해를 명확히 하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 248쌍의 부부를 대상으로 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 부부의 감정적 자기노출 정도는 부인이 남편보다 높은것으로 나타났다. 2) 부부의 감정적 자기노출에 가장 영향을 미치는 변인은 긍정적 노출의 경우는 심리적 변인이었으며 부정적 노출의 경우는 가정환경적 변인으로 나타났다. 3) 남편과 부인의 감정적 자기노출유형은 남편의 경우는 완전폐쇄형(43.3%), 부인의 경우는 완전노출형(48.2%)이 가장 많았으며, 부부간의 감정적 자기노출유형은 긍정적 자기노출에서는 상호노출형(43.7%), 부정적 자기노출에서는 상호폐쇄형 (38.4%)이 가장 많은것으로 나타났다. 4) 감정적 자기노출유형을 판별하는 가장 강력한 변인은 남편의 경우는 남성성, 부인의 경우는 자아개념으로 나타났다.

A Study of CHAMP Satellite Magnetic Anomalies in East Asia (동아시아지역에서의 CHAMP 위성자료에서의 지각 자기이상의 연구)

  • Satellite magnetic observations reflect the magnetic properties of deep crust about the depth of Curie isotherm that is a boundary where the magnetic nature of the rocks is disappeared, showing long wavelength anomalies that are not easily detected in near-surface data from airborne and shipborne surveys. For this reason, they are important not only in the analyses on such as plate reconstruction of tectonic boundaries and deep crustal structures, but in the studies of geothermal distribution in Antarctic and Greenland crust, related to global warming issue. It is a conventional method to compute the spherical harmonic coefficients from global coverage of satellite magnetic observations but it should be noted that inclusion of erroneous data from the equator and the poles where magnetic observations are highly disturbed might mislead the global model of the coefficients. Otherwise, the reduced anomaly model can be obtained with less corruption by choosing the area of interest with proper data processing to the area. In this study, I produced a satellite crustal magnetic anomaly map over East Asia (20° ~ 55°N, 108° ~ 150°E) centered on Korean Peninsula, from CHAMP satellite magnetic measurements about mean altitude of 280 km during the last year of the mission, and compared with the one from global crustal magnetic model (MF7). Also, a comparison was made with long wavelength anomalies from EMAG2 model compiled from all near-surface data over the globe.

Acoustic model training using self-attention for low-resource speech recognition (저자원 환경의 음성인식을 위한 자기 주의를 활용한 음향 모델 학습)

  • This paper proposes acoustic model training using self-attention for low-resource speech recognition. In low-resource speech recognition, it is difficult for acoustic model to distinguish certain phones. For example, plosive /d/ and /t/, plosive /g/ and /k/ and affricate /z/ and /ch/. In acoustic model training, the self-attention generates attention weights from the deep neural network model. In this study, these weights handle the similar pronunciation error for low-resource speech recognition. When the proposed method was applied to Time Delay Neural Network-Output gate Projected Gated Recurrent Unit (TNDD-OPGRU)-based acoustic model, the proposed model showed a 5.98 % word error rate. It shows absolute improvement of 0.74 % compared with TDNN-OPGRU model.

A Study on the Differences of Problem-Solving Ability between Students with High Level of Self-efficacy and Students with Low Level of Self-efficacy (PBL 수업에서 공과대학 학생들의 자기효능감 수준에 따른 문제해결 능력 차이)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the difference of problem-solving ability according to student's level of self-efficacy. Participants were 72 junior students who took the course 'Environmental Instrumental Analysis'. Before the PBL activities, students were given the self-efficacy tests to all students. Among them, 44 students(30% of each high and low ranking) were selected and encouraged to complete pre-problem solving tests. The PBL was conducted for 12 weeks using blended learning strategies. After the PBL, 44students completed post-problem solving tests. Results showed that there were differences of problem-solving ability according to student's level of self-efficacy. From the results, instructional strategies for promoting students' self-efficacy should be employed for enhancing problem-solving ability in PBL activities.

고성능 유기박막트랜지스터의 개발에 필요한 고품질 자기조립단분자막의 패턴 제작

  • 유기박막트랜지스터는 각 박막계면의 접촉성에 따라 그 성능이 좌우 된다는 것은 널리 알려진 사실이다. 이 때문에 계면간의 접촉성 및 결함을 최소화 하고 효율적인 패턴 형성을 위해 자기조립단분자막의 이용이 최근에 많이 시도되고 있다. 고품질 자기조립단분자막의 제작을 위해 RCA 세척을 통해 웨이퍼 표면에 OH기를 도입 보다 완벽한 단분자막의 형성을 촉진 하였으며 패턴제작은수분이엄격이조절된환경에서 alkyilsilane과 aminosilane 자기조립단분자막을 각각 ${\mu}CP$과 용액공정을 통해 시도되었다. 이 과정에서 물리적 흡착이나 OH기 부족으로 생성된 결함을 보안하기 위하여 SC1용액을 사용 단순 물리흡착된 자기조립단분자 물질의 제거와 다시 OH기 도입 용액공정을 통해 자기조립단분자막 형성을 반복적으로 실시하였다. 그 결과 자기조립단분자막의 결함이 최소화 되었고 자기조립단분자막의 질에 따라 유기전극재료 증착 시 선택적인 성장 과 형성된 유기전극재료 층의 형상이 다르게 관찰 되었다. 이런 반복적인 용액공정을 통해 결함이 최소화된 고품질 자기조립단분자막은 박막계면 간 옴성접촉을 형성하여 유기박막트랜지스터 제작 시 성능 향상이 기대되어진다.

자기폭풍예보모델을 이용한 우주환경예보

  • It is crucial to predict the variabilities of the near-earth space environment associated with the solar activity, which cause enormous socio-economic impacts on mankind. The geomagnetic storm prediction scheme adopted in this study is designed to predict such variabilities in terms of the geomagnetic indices, AE and Dst, the cross-polar cap potential difference, the energy dissipation rate over the polar ionosphere and associated temperature increase in the thermosphere. The prediction code consists of two parts; prediction of the solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field based upon actual flare observations and estimation of various electrodynamic quantities mentioned above from the solar wind-magnetosphere coupling function 'epsilon' which is derivable through the predicted solar wind parameters. As a test run, the magnetic storm that occurred in early November, 1993, is simulated and the results are compared with the solar wind and the interplanetary magnetic field measured by the Japanese satellite, Geotail, and the geomagnetic indices obtained from ground magnetic observatories. Although numerous aspects of the code are to be further improved, the comparison between the simulated results and the actual measurements encourages us to use this prediction scheme as the first appoximation in forecasting the disturbances of the near-earth space environment associated with solar flares.

  • In the advanced information age, learning is an activity in which learners access information resources through computers and Internet to acquire and evaluate information on their own. The emergence of an online learning platform based on the fourth industrial revolution technology is developing into an environment in which elementary and secondary learners learn and study based on constructivism learning theory. In the online learning environment, the researches on the information retrieval ability of the elementary and secondary learners and the self-directed learning ability were found to be highly related. However, it is necessary to analyze the relation between information retrieval ability and self-directed learning ability through a cross-sectional study that is limited to specific curriculum and contents and expands the longitudinal research. In this study, the panel data of the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study collected over 8 years are used to find the difference in self-directed learning ability according to the longitudinal pattern of information retrieval ability and frequency.
