The effects of work environmental factors and self-compassion on burnout of school counselors (학교 상담자의 업무환경 요인 및 자기자비가 소진에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of work environmental factors and self-compassion on the burnout of school counselors. The subjects of this study were 312 school counselors under the D District Office of Education participated. In order to examine the effects of individual, organizational, and self-compassion factors on burnout, correlation and hierarchical regression were applied. Individual factors were gender, age, health status, and personal hobbies. Organizational factors were employment type, working hours, and job satisfaction. Self-compassion and burnout were measured using the Korean version of self-compassion and Baslach burnout instruments. The correlation analysis showed that the three factors are correlated with each other. In the hierarchical regression analysis, three models were developed as personal, organizational, and self-compassion factors. The results of regression analysis are as follows. The influence of self-compassion on burnout was stronger than the organizational factor (i.e., employment type, working time, job satisfaction) and the personal factor (i.e., age, health status, hobby). There were no significant differences between genders. This study results suggest that self-compassion can reduce a level of burnout significantly, although personal and organizational factors have a significant impact on burnout. Further study and suggestions for reducing the level of burnout of school counselors were discussed.

Geochemical Characteristics of Scirpus planiculmis Habitats in Nakdong Estuary, Korea (낙동강 하구 새섬매자기 군락지 지화학 연구)

  • The Nakdong Estuary has experienced hydraulic and topographic changes over the last century, which have had negative effects of habitat loss and fragmentation. The population of Scirpus planiculmis, a major food plant for wintering birds in Nakdong Estuary, has decreased over the last decade. To identify factors that influence S. planiculmis population, 6 short core samples (about 30cm) were collected in June and August, 2018. The sand percentage was over 80% in every samples and the average sediment salinity in June and August were $17.8{\pm}1.12psu$ and $18.4{\pm}1.83psu$, respectively. ${\delta}^{13}C$ of sediment cores varied from -25.4‰ to -22.6‰ which fall within the estuarine particulate organic matters. In cores collected in Eulsuk area, the highest ${\delta}^{13}C$ values were observed at the surface (0~1cm) indicating inputs of marine POM (particulate organic matter) to the Nakdong Estuary. No significant difference between vegetation and non-vegetation stations was observed in every items we investigated which might indicate that the physicochemical environment of vegetation area is almost same as that of non-vegetation area. Therefore, the high sand percentage and sediment salinity of Nakdong Estuary might affect the reduction in S. planiculmis population.

Indoor Positioning System using Geomagnetic Field with Recurrent Neural Network Model (순환신경망을 이용한 자기장 기반 실내측위시스템)

  • Conventional RF signal-based indoor localization techniques such as BLE or Wi-Fi based fingerprinting method show considerable localization errors even in small-scale indoor environments due to unstable received signal strength(RSS) of RF signals. Therefore, it is difficult to apply the existing RF-based fingerprinting techniques to large-scale indoor environments such as airports and department stores. In this paper, instead of RF signal we use the geomagnetic sensor signal for indoor localization, whose signal strength is more stable than RF RSS. Although similar geomagnetic field values exist in indoor space, an object movement would experience a unique sequence of the geomagnetic field signals as the movement continues. We use a deep neural network model called the recurrent neural network (RNN), which is effective in recognizing time-varying sequences of sensor data, to track the user's location and movement path. To evaluate the performance of the proposed geomagnetic field based indoor positioning system (IPS), we constructed a magnetic field map for a campus testbed of about $94m{\times}26$ dimension and trained RNN using various potential movement paths and their location data extracted from the magnetic field map. By adjusting various hyperparameters, we could achieve an average localization error of 1.20 meters in the testbed.

A Study on the Mediating Effect of Self-Directed Learning Ability on Interest Level through Problem-Solving Ability in Distance Learning Environment (원격 수업환경에서 자기주도학습능력이 문제해결력을 매개로 흥미수준에 미치는 영향 탐구)

  • This study was conducted to explore whether problem-solving ability mediates the effect of self-directed learning ability on interest level in a distance learning environment. The subjects of this study were 64 students in the Department of Christian Education and Early Childhood Education at A University located in Gyeonggi-do. For this study, data were collected through questionnaires on interest level, self-directed learning ability, and problem-solving ability. Collected data are analyzed using SPSS Macro and bootstrapping method. As a result, self-directed learning ability for interest level has a positive effect on .651 level. The influence of self-directed learning ability in step 2, which includes problem-solving ability, which is a parameter. It was lowered to .543 level. And the effect of problem-solving ability was found to be at .360 level. As a result, it can be judged that problem-solving ability mediates the effect of self-directed learning ability on interest level. The research results suggest that the level of interest can be improved by supporting problem-solving skills in a distance learning environment.

  • The objective of the project is to model and study the geomagnetic field structure and its secular variation in space and in time due to sources in the dynamic fluid outer core. the Earth's spherical harmonic model of the main field and of the secular variation gives the intensity and geomagnetic structure at any location around the Earth, assuming an undistorted, steady state field that no external sources or localized earth anomalies. To consider the practical use of a ship's digital compass in Earth's magnetic field, Earth's spherical harmonic model is searched for the related practical methods and procedures as a basic study in this work.

  • Development of computer and internet has permitted cyber education transcending time and space, which escapes traditional classroom. As a result, the study of learner's own leading in Web-based instruction environment can be possible. In order to perform it effectively, suitable helps and advices, called scaffolding, must be offered. In this pater, we select a principle of computer in information technology basic subject of technical high school, and design and implement the web contents that provide the proper scaffolding for learners.

  • 지난 2004년 6월 24일에 공표된 신BIS 자기자본규제제도에 의거 회원국 은행들에 대한 체계적인 위험관리가 강화되는 상황에서 우리나라도 2009년부터 모든 은행이 신BIS기준을 도입및 적용할 예정이다. 신BIS협약은 운영리스크(부적절한 내부절차, 직원, 시스템)에 대해서도 리스크를 측정하여 은행의 소요 자기자본에 반영토록 하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구자는 은행의 조직환경 변수들이 조직유효성에 영향을 미치고 이들이 또한 내부통제절차의 상시 유효성에 영향을 미치는 지 알아보기 위하여 국내 소재 은행원들을 대상으로 실증분석함으로써 은행들이 효율적인 내부통제를 통해 금융사고를 미연에 방지하고 은행자산의 건전성에 기여하기 위한 지침을 제시하는 관점에서 연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과, 연구모형에서 예상한 바와 같이 조직환경이 내부통제유효성에 직접적으로 영향을 미치지만 조직몰입도나 집단응집력과 같은 조직유효성을 매개로 하여 내부통제유효성에 더욱더 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이러한 점에 비추어 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 은행내 중간관리자의 성향에 따라 개별조직 구성원들의 행동양식이나 가치관에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 현실을 감안하여 장기적인 안목에서 양질의 리더십, 조직문화 그리고 분위기 등 조직환경을 리드해 나갈 수 있도록 관리자들에 대한 교육훈련 및 소양교육을 지속적으로 펼쳐나가는 것이 중요하다고 본다.

Determinants of Entrepreneurial Intentions: Individual Characteristics and Environmental Factors (창업 의지의 결정요인: 개인특성 및 환경요인)

  • This study examined individual characteristic factors and environmental factors as determinants of entrepreneurial intentions. As for individual characteristic factors, individuals' career orientations and entrepreneurial self-efficacy were examined. As for environmental factors, social supports and successful role models, labeled as personal environmental factors, were examined, and social perceptions for entrepreneurs, labeled as social environmental factors were also examined. Data were collected from undergraduates of business department, and graduates of the same department. The samples of 208 and 81 for each group were used for final analysis. Results showed that as a whole, career orientations affected entrepreneurial intentions. Specifically, entrepreneurial orientations had positive effects. and security orientations had marginally negative effects on entrepreneurial intentions, while, unexpectedly, autonomy orientations had no significant effects. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy had the strongest positive effects on entrepreneurial intentions. Social supports and successful role models, which were not identified as distinct variables by the respondents, were integrated as a new variable of 'network environments' for analysis in this study. Network environments positively affected on entrepreneurial intentions. Social perceptions for entrepreneurs, however, did not affect on entrepreneurial intentions. Based on the results of career orientations, self-efficacy, and network environment, the implications for activating entrepreneurship were discussed.

Analysis of the Effect of Self-Directed Learning Method in Medical Team Education (의학용어학습에서 자기주도학습준비도 촉진 수업방식의 효과 분석)

  • This study was designed to examine whether the self-directed learning method could improve self-directed learning readiness and the effects of academic achievement level. Self-directed learning readiness was investigated among 63 first-year Medical Terminology undergraduates in the C area. A repeat measurement variance analysis of the general linear model was conducted to evaluate the effects of improving self-directed learning readiness according to the general characteristics and level of academic achievement, while a regression analysis was performed to identify the factors affecting self-directed learning readiness. Self-directed learning readiness increased from 177.3 to 180.8 for those under 18 years of age, and 192.9 to 196.5 for those over 19 years of age (p<0.05). After the team activity, the overall self-directed learning readiness was improved, and both high- and low-achieving groups showed statistically significant improvements (p<0.05). The environment surrounding learners was confirmed to have a positive effect on improving self-directed learning when given the right degree of self-directed learning and appropriate feedback. The study results are expected to form basic foundation material for professors and class designers who want to draw self-directed learning skills from memorizing subjects.
