Structual ambiguity is one of those problem that arise in the analysis of natural language sentences.It has been considered very difficult to solve the problem.Structural ambiguity,however,should be resolved no matter how difficult it may be.Otherwise natural language processing could be virtually impossible.A statistical approach to structural disambiguation is proposed in this dissertation.The information-theoretic concept of mutual information has been empolyed in resolving structural ambiguity Mutual information can be acquired in an automatic way.from text corpora. If a structural disambiguation subsystem had the capability of self-evaluating whether the results of structural disambiguation are correct or not.it would be possible to develop a more intelligent natural language proessing system.In this paper,the concept of confidence measure is also proposed to endow the disambiguation subsystem with such intelligence.Confidence measure is a numeric value calculated after structural disambiguation. Some experiments were performed in order to show the validity of the approach.Mutual information was auto matically acquired from a corpus of 1.6milion words that were collected from scientific abstracts.The accuracy of structural disambiguation was 80%when performed over 1,639 test sentences.Notice that there was no manual tuning in advance for the experiments.The task of detecting and correcting errors in structural disambiguation will be performed very effectively if the concept of confidence measure is employed in the process.

The purpose of this paper was to identify the effects of visitor's service quality affecting visitor's satisfaction in national parks(NPs). After reviewing the literature, this research selected and developed the indicators of visitor's service (VS) and have formulated the hypothesis of this research. This research had obtained data through a questionnaire, which surveyed 4,423 visitors at 8 NPs in 2005. We have analyzed the data using descriptive statistical methods, factor analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression method. We found that 1) the results of factor analysis, the five factors of visitor's service (FVSs) i.e., assurance, reliability, empathy, tangibles, responsiveness have extracted. 2) in bivariate analysis, the positive relationships between user's satisfaction and FVSs are fairly low but statistically significant. The higher the value of the five factors of VS the higher the degree of user's satisfaction, 3) in multiple regression analysis, FVSs have been statistically significant at one percent level, and 4) the relative contribution of the assurance of VS on user's satisfaction have been determined to have respectively 2.85 times more important than that of the empathy of VS. The research results suggest that the management of natural resources, cultural resources, and park facilities in national park was the most important factor to increase visitor's satisfaction.

Quality rating of machine security systems is difficult because both tangible and intangible services are included. However, still, the research template applied the SERVQUAL model with the intention of confirming machine security systems' service quality formation and experimentally inspecting the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction. Therefore, the following highlights the experimental research outcomes and their implications for small-scale businesses utilizing machine security systems in the Daegu region. First, after observing whether the determining factors constitute service quality, four components were found to have significant influence on customer satisfaction. Additionally, in observing any differences in their influences, the following in order were observed as having influence on customer satisfaction: empathy, assurance reliability, responsiveness, and tangibility. Moreover, though companies‘ newest facilities and equipment are important, it can be concluded that a company employees’ prudent consideration, individual interest, reliability, and assurance for the customer carry greater importance. Secondly, though we intended to survey machine security systems by employing the SERVQUAL model, determinant factor analysis results found applying SERVQUAL model in its original state a challenge. According to results from determinant factor analysis, the basis for forming service quality is determined by assurance reliability, empathy, tangibility, and responsiveness. Furthermore, in future research, while more accurately distinguishing between assurance and reliability, a more appropriate model must also be considered for modification in domestic machine security system industry‘s service quality evaluation.

This study aims to define structural relations of security science majors' career satisfaction, career identity and career decision-making self efficacy. In addition, as confirming immediate effects, indirect effects as well as total effects, the study offers basic materials for reasonable career exploration and career program development. In order to achieve the research goals above, the study conducted a survey targeting a total of 239 college students specializing in security science and carried out a structural equation model analysis. Findings of the research are summarized as follows. First of all, major satisfaction turned out to have significant influences on career decision, career certainty and career interest. Second of all, the study found out that both relationship satisfaction and general satisfaction are significantly connected with career decision and career certainty. Third of all, social awareness appeared to have a significant influence on career interest. Fourth of all, the study learned that in terms of career decision and career certainty, they are all significantly related to problem solving, information collection and plan development. As for career interest, the study noticed how significantly if affects both problem solving and information collection. Fifth of all, major satisfaction was observed to have mediating effects on problem solving and information collection through career decision. Sixth of all, via career certainty, major satisfaction has mediating effects on problem solving as well as information collection. Seventh of all, when it comes to relationship satisfaction, it has mediating effects on problem solving, information collection and plan development through career interest. Eighth of all, career decision helps general satisfaction have mediating effects on problem solving and information collection. Focusing on the research results above, the study discussed implications in relation to security science including advices for any follow-up researches.

Logs from various security system can reveal the attack trials for accessing private data without authorization. The logs can be a kind of confidence deriving factors that a certain IP address is involved in the trial. This paper presents a rule-based expert system for derivation of privacy violation confidence using various security systems. Generally, security manager analyzes and synthesizes the log information from various security systems about a certain IP address to find the relevance with privacy violation cases. The security managers' knowledge handling various log information can be transformed into rules for automation of the log analysis and synthesis. Especially, the coverage of log analysis for personal information leakage is not too broad when we compare with the analysis of various intrusion trials. Thus, the number of rules that we should author is relatively small. In this paper, we have derived correlation among logs from IDS, Firewall and Webserver in the view point of privacy protection and implemented a rule-based expert system based on the derived correlation. Consequently, we defined a method for calculating the score which represents the relevance between IP address and privacy violation. The UI(User Interface) expert system has a capability of managing the rule set such as insertion, deletion and update.

스페인 과학자들과 국제노동기구는 하루에 12시간 이상, 일주일에 50시간 이상 일하게 되면 일중독을 의심해야 한다고 밝혔다. 이를 적용하면 세계 최장 노동시간을 자랑(?)하는 우리나라는 근로자 대부분이 일중독에 해당된다. 주5일 근무가 확신됐지만 잦은 야근에 휴일에 출근이라도 한다면 일주일에 50시간을 훌쩍 넘긴다. 그럼 당신도 일중독일까.

경제 발전이 절정에 달한 국민들이 인간생활의 정상적인 질서를 파괴해 가면서 방탕한 생활의 결과가 천간인 AIDS이지 않은가 생각되며 모든 삼라만상은 제 나름대로 질서가 있는 법이거늘 하물며 만물의 영장인 인간생활의 법칙을 어기며 물질 만능의 쾌락추구자에게 내리는 형벌이라고 생각된다. 자기자신을 절제하면서 아주 평범하게 사는 사람들에게는 이 무서운 병원체일지라도 감히 침범을 못 할 것이라고 확신하면서 생활하길 바란다.

공업화가 가속되고 기계설비가 대단위화 되며 장비의 가격 및 생산성이 크게 증가함에 따라 기계의 운영 및 관리 문제의 중요성이 점증되고 있다. 따라서 대기업 혹은 같은 분야의 중소기업끼리 장비들의 관리방법을 개선시키고 보다 효율적으로 운영하기 위한 꾸준한 노력이 필요하다. 그중 윤활유에 대한 마멸입자 분석은 가장 효과적이고 선진국에서 이미 상당히 보급되어 이용되고 있어 몇가지 방법을 소개하므로써 장차 국내에서도 많은 관심 및 응용이 필요할 것으로 확신한다.
