  • The Security of digital images has become increasingly more important in highly computerized and interconnected world. Therefore, The chaos-based encryption algorithms have suggested some new and efficient ways to develop secure image encryption method. This paper is described for the point at issue in all chaos-based encryption method for distribution of a chaotic signals. It has a method for generation of uniformly distributed chaotic signals that we designed secure algorithm of multi-parameter chaotic systems. So we are present validity of the theoretical models for results of image encryption and decryption for proposed method.

  • A chaotic spread spectrum communication system using a polar quarternary method is designed and implemented. Four different chaotic signals in the relation of multiplication each other are generated through the use of a coupled synchronization method in the transmitter which is composed of four Chua's circuits. Information is retrieved at the receiver which is connected to the transmitter through the use of a drive synchronization method. Since spread spectrum of information signal is spread by chaotic signal, the configuration of the system is simpler than that of any other conventional system.

  • Chaos communication systems have the characteristics such as non-periodic, wide-band, non-predictability of signals and easy implementation. There have been many studies about chaos communication systems because of these advantages. But, chaos communication systems have low BER(Bit Error Rate) compare to general digital communication system. Existing researches on chaos communication systems only analyze BER performance according to various chaos maps. There are no studies on analysis of BER performance according to PDF(Probability Density Function) of chaos maps. In this paper, we analyze the BER performance according to changing parameter, equation, and initial values of chaos map's PDF. In addition, we propose new chaos map to improve BER performance. Simulation results show that BER performance of CDSK(Correlation Delay Shift Keying) is changed when PDF of chaos map changed. And the proposed chaos map has a better BER performance compare to previous chaos maps such as Tent map, Logistic map, and Henon map.

  • The quantity and quality of contents containing information are sharply increasing with the rising network speed. In line with this rapid growth of information volume, a new communication protocol using the chaotic signal that can protect contents in communication is proposed as follows. The chaos system has the characteristic of unpredictability due to the sensitive initial values and the similarity of the signals with noise. We configured two chaos systems $F(X_n,Y_n)$ and $G(A_n,B_n)$ that have such characteristics and designed a data communication method using as encryption channel the same chaos signals generated by synchronizing the chaos system G with the F signals. The proposed method was verified with the encryption and decryption of images. The proposed method is different from the existing encrypted communication methods and is expected to lay the foundation for future studies in related areas.is an example of ABSTRACT format.

  • The method of synchronization by feedbacking a signal of master system to a corresponding variable of slave system is applied to the Lorenz which is autonomous system. The two Lorenz systems are synchronized and the synchronization occurs when the consisting of the variable differences of the two systems generates infinite period of laminar phase. The characteristics of synchronization is analyzed in time series and phase spaces.

  • The security of digital image has become increasingly important with the development of the computing performance and internet. Therefore, the encryption algorithms exploiting chaos signal have recently attracted considerable attentions as a new method of image-encryption techniques. In this Paper, it is demonstrated that two different chaotic systems are synchronized by the methods of noise-induced synchronization. Based on this synchronization method, an image-encryption system is implemented and an image of Seok-Ga-Tap is encrypted as a verification of the performance of our system. The method suggested in this paper in which the noise is used as the key of decryption is superior to the existing methods in the aspect of the degree of encryption. In this paper, we Propose that the method is a new effective encryption algorithm as well as an easily applicable one.

  • To improve security in the data communication field, many studies on the application of chaotic signals to encryption have been conducted in recent years. In this study, a new security protocol where the initial value sensitivity and noise similarity of chaotic signals have been applied to an RFID communication channel was designed. In the case of chaotic systems, if the initial values become identical, the same signals are generated at the same time after that point even though the two systems have been calculated independently. Therefore, an unpredictable security channel can be produced based on such characteristics. However, a security channel can be produced only when an initial value is shared in advance, and thus there is a potential problem of infringement during the transmission of the initial value. To resolve this problem, a method in which a certain proportion of new chaotic signals are applied to two chaotic systems for communication and are then synchronized after some time was proposed. This new method can conceal the initial value, and thus can resolve the problem of the existing communication method using chaotic signals. The designed method was verified with the encryption and decryption of images. It is expected that a more secure RFID system could be established by applying the communication protocol proposed in this study to insecure RFID communication channels.

  • In this paper, we consider a signal masking structure based on the Lorenz system, which uses a feedback path of the information signal in the transmitter system. The scheme recovers the information signal exactly at the receiver, and can be used with increased amplitude information signal. The scrambling property of the scheme is also investigated by computer simulations, from which the performance is show to be better than that of the conventional method.
