Development a self-report questionnaire-type scale for measuring user's emotions while using a product (제품 사용 중 사용자의 감성 측정을 위한 자기-보고 질문지형 척도 개발)

  • The most common method in the psychological measuring method for measuring user's emotions is to indirectly measure the user's emotion by using adjectives, called emotional words. The previous research, in order to observe user's emotional changes while they interact with a product, has extracted some emotional words and representative emotions, and made a set of subjective evaluation scale. In addition to adjective checklists, self-report questionnaire-type scales have been extensively used to assess user's emotions. This research suggested a self-report questionnaire-type scale using the representative emotions and a set of subjective evaluation scale made in the previous research. Also the reliability of the suggested self-report questionnaire-type scale was confirmed through the analysis of Cronbach's coefficient alpha. Therefore, the self-report questionnaire-type scale extracted through this research can be used in various ways to measure a user's user's emotions naturally expressed while using a product.

A study on correlation between frictional coefficients and subjective evaluation while rubbing cosmetic product on skin (화장품을 바를 때 피부 마찰계수의 변화와 주관적인 평가와의 상관관계 연구)

  • A frictional coefficients of in-vivo skin characteristic is the most important factor of the cutaneous mechanical properties ant the method of evaluating skin care in the fields of cosmetics products. In-vivo skin characteristic varies in many different ways depends on what is applied to the skin, loading condition, shape, surface roughness, and material of the probe. In this research, we designed a system which can be measured frictional coefficients of a human skin on real time. It consists of multi-components load-cell, actuator, linear motor and arm fixator. This measurement system was automatically controlled by computer. We measured frictional coefficients between probe an4 skin using this system ant inquired adjectives for subjective evaluation while rubbing cosmetic product on skin. Lastly, we analyzed correlation between two factors by calculating Pearson Correlation Coefficient. As a result, we could know that frictional coefficients varied from 0.17-1.2 according to cosmetic products, normal forte, materials and surface conditions of probe. We also confirmed sensual feelings of cosmetic products have close correlation with frictional coefficients.

A Study on the Extraction of Emotional Words for Media Facade (내용분석 및 자유연상을 통한 미디어 파사드의 감성어휘 추출)

  • The aim of this paper is to select a distinct vocabulary for understanding the media facade of user and to lay the foundation for a media facade emotional scale. Firstly, we assembled a set of emotional words that were sufficient to represent a general overview of korean emotions, collected from various literature studies. Secondly, we found emotional words from collecting user opinion on the Youtube website. Finally the emotional words were collected from phrase by using non-structural survey. The collected words were integrated according to standards and they were organized 39 pieces that can be used in the survey. As a result, we extracted 21 emotional words for measuring user's emotions expressed while watching media facade, such as 'novel', 'cool', 'awesome', 'gorgeous', 'exciting', 'amazing', 'wonderful,', 'showy', 'great,', 'intense', 'good', 'grand', 'colorful', 'unique', 'variety', 'new', 'fun', 'beautiful', 'luxurious,', 'mysterious', 'satisfactory'. And we categorized the 21 words to form 5 elements by using factor analysis such as 'surprise', 'attention', 'variety', 'aesthetics', 'interest'.

  • These days, various and tons of education information are rapidly increasing and spreading due to Internet and smart devices usage. Recently, as e-Learning usage increasing, many instructors and students (learners) need to set a goal to maximize learners' result of education and education system efficiency based on big data analytics via online recorded education historical data. In this paper, the author applied Word2Vec algorithm (neural network algorithm) to find similarity among education words and classification by clustering algorithm in order to objectively recognize and analyze online recorded education historical data. When the author applied the Word2Vec algorithm to education words, related-meaning words can be found, classified and get a similar vector values via learning repetition. In addition, through experimental results, the author proved the part of speech (noun, verb, adjective and adverb) have same shortest distance from the centroid by using clustering algorithm.

Psychophysiological evaluation for naturally flavored cream products (천연향을 이용한 크림 제품의 심리생리적 평가)

  • Generally, cosmetic creams have been used to moisturize and smooth human skin. Recently, people concerns about the creams released with natural flavors and its functionality. This study focused to assess the psychophysiological effects of creams with 5 natural flavors such as patchouli oil, frankincense, sandalwood oil, none and newly developed S6. Initially, we have performed subjective evaluation for 100 female subjects aged 20 to 30 from Daejeon, South Korea. The results showed the most preferred flavor was S6 condition. Second, physiological evaluations for 20 female subjects were measured with EEG, ECG and GSR. In EEG analysis, the alpha ratio was confirmed to appear higher in each condition. The statistical analysis shows that significantly largest effect at S6 condition($p$ <0.05). The result from ECG and GSR measurements also shows the same trend. Third, skin conditions were measured when using S6. As a result, the skin temperature, humidity and skin movement speed were increased with S6 condition. The moisturizing and elasticity effects were confirmed.

  • The goal of current study was to investigate the perception of emotional lighting according to the types of exercise participation of fitness center users. The subjects of this study were 292 people in Gyeongin area fitness center. As a survey tool, the color types used in the study of Oh & Kwak(2015) were used, and the color recognition was based on the emotional adjective scale used in Lee(1997). Data were analyzed using crossover, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA using SPSS23.0. The following conclusions can be drawn from the results of this study. First, emotional lighting color preference of fitness users varies according to Gender. Second, the difference of perception of color by emotional illumination of fitness users was found to be partially different in color and sex. Third, there was a difference in color recognition among emotional lighting color recognition according to exercise participation type of fitness users.

  • This paper proposes using machine-learning technology to analyze and classify historical collected documents based on them. Data is collected based on keywords associated with a specific domain and the non-conceptuals such as special characters are removed. Then, tag each word of the document collected using a Korean-language morpheme analyzer with its nouns, verbs, and sentences. Embedded documents using Doc2Vec model that converts documents into vectors. Measure the similarity between documents through the embedded model and learn the document classifier using the machine running algorithm. The highest performance support vector machine measured 0.83 of F1-score as a result of comparing the classification model learned.

  • This study is about the development of AI algorithm education program using cognition modeling to positively improve students' image on AI. First, we analyzed the concept of user-based collaborative filtering and developed the education program using the cognition modeling method. We checked the adequacy of program through the expert validity test. Both CVR values for the content development method of cognitive modeling and the developed program showed validity above .80. We applied the developed program to elementary school students in class. The test was conducted using a semantic discrimination to examine changes in students' perception of artificial intelligence before and after. We were able to confirm that the students' AI images were significant positive change in 12 of the 23 words in the adjective pair.

  • The purpose of this study is to present basic data for hair color work plans that can consistently produce hair color design products for designers through analysis of gradient techniques among hair color design techniques. The research method was to select 10 photos of women that appeared in mass media from 2022 to September 15, 2023, extract color chips and RGB values using the Eyedropper Tool in Adobe Photoshop CS6, and convert the RGB values of the color chips into Munsell Conversion ( The data was converted into HV/C values of version 12.1.13a). Based on the extracted data, the gradient hair colors of female pop stars were analyzed by displaying the data on a color scale. As a result, in the I.R.I color scheme image scale, the image of female pop stars was more hard than soft. In addition, it was confirmed that the focus was on static rather than dynamic. Color matching images according to hair color were extracted with adjectives such as noble, decent, elegant, and subtle. Three hairstyles were created using this theme.

  • 본 연구는 조선시대 남자 포제(포제에 나타난 복식이미지의 구성요인을 밝히고 남자포제 유형별(철릭, 답호, 직령, 도포, 창의, 주의), 시기별(전기, 중기, 후기) 복식이미지를 알아봄으로서 조선시대 남자포제가 가진 복식이미지를 밝혀 현대 전통복식 디자인에 응용될 수 있는 기초적인 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 의복 자극물은 남자 평상복을 중심으로 하여 조선초기(1477년∼1543년)의 남자 포제로는 철릭, 답호, 직령 3점과 조선중기(18세기)는 도포, 창의 2점, 조선후기(17세기 후기∼20세기 초)는 주의 1점으로 하였고, 당 시대의 정화한 복식이미지를 살펴보기 위해 유물을 복원 제작하여 사용하였다. 이것을 모델에게 착장시켜 슬라이드로 제작한 후 자극물로 제시하였다. 의미지분척도외 구성은 자유언어연상법으로 형용사를 수집하여 23쌍의 형용사쌍을 구성하였다. 패널단은 대학생 남·여 총 600명으로 하였고 자료분석은 SAS을 이용하여 요인분석 분산분석 등을 사용하였다. 1. 조선시대 남자 포제의 요인구조는 품위성 요인(25.2%), 활동성 요인(l4.2%), 관할성 요인(37.9%), 현시성 요인(6.7%), 경연성 요인(5.7%)으로 구성되었으며, 이들 5개 요인의 전체변량 62.7% 중에서 품위성 요인, 활동성 요인, 관할성 요인이 전체변량의 50%를 넘어서 이 세 요인이 남자 포제에서 기본적으로 느껴지는 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있다. 2. 조선시대 남자 포제 유형별 복식이미지의 차이를 알아본 결과, 철릭은 가장 부자연스러운, 주름있는, 곡선적인, 부드러운, 특이한 이미지의 포제로 나타났으며, 답호는 가장 절제된, 직선적인 딱딱한, 특이한 이미지로, 직령은 가장 비활동적인, 답답한, 전통적인 이미지로 도포는 가장 품위있는. 관할한 이미지로 창의는 다른 포제에 비해 평범한, 단순한, 이미지로 주의는 가장 품위 없는, 일상적인, 활동적인, 단순한, 순수한 이미지의 포제로 평가되었다. 모든 남자포제가 전통적, 순수한 이미지의 포제로, 철릭을 제외한 모든 포제가 단순한 이미지로 나타나 조선시대 남자 포제가 공통적으로 가지는 이미지는 단순하고 순수한 이미지를 가지고 있음을 알 수 있다. 3. 남자 포제의 시기별 복식이미지에서는 조선전기(철릭, 답호, 직령)의 포제는 관할성 요인이 높은 의례적인, 관할한, 특이한 이미지로 평가되었고 조선중기(도포, 창의)의 포제는 품위있는, 절제된, 풍성한 이미지로 평가되었으며, 조선후기(주의)의 포제는 활동적인, 단순한, 직선적인 이미지로 나타났다. 따라서 시대별 남자 포제의 이미지는 시대적 여건과 상황에 따라 변화되어 왔으며, 시대에 따라 추구하는 이미지가 달랐다는 것을 알 수 있다.
