  • The Chicago Convention and Annexes have become the basis of aviation safety regulations for every contracting state. Generally, the State's aviation safety regulations refer to the Standards and Recommended Practices(SARPs) provided in the Annexes of the Chicago Convention. In order to properly reflect international aviation safety regulations, constant studies of the aviation fields are of paramount importance. This Paper is intended to identify the main differences between korean and foreign regulation and suggest a few amendment proposals on Mixed-fleet Flying(at or more two aircraft type operation) of flight crew. Comparing with these regulations, the korean regulations and implementations have some insufficiency points. I suggest some amendment proposals of korean regulations concerning Mixed-fleet Flying that flight crew operate aircraft of different types. Basically an operator shall not assign a pilot-in-command or a co-pilot to operate at the flight controls of a type of airplane during take-off and landing unless that pilot has operated the flight controls during at least three take-offs and landings within the preceding 90 days on the same type of airplane or in a flight simulator. Also, flight crew members are familiarized with the significant differences in equipment and/or procedures between concurrently operated types. An operator shall ensure that piloting technique and the ability to execute emergency procedures is checked in such a way as to demonstrate the pilot's competence on each type or variant of a type of airplane. Proficiency check shall be performed periodically. When an operator schedules flight crew on different types of airplanes with similar characteristics in terms of operating procedures, systems and handling, the State shall decide the requirements for each type of airplane can be combined. In conclusion, it is necessary for flight crew members to remain concurrently qualified to operate multiple types. The operator shall have a program to include, as a minimum, required differences training between types and qualification to maintain currency on each type. If the Operator utilizes flight crew members to concurrently operate aircraft of different types, the operator shall have qualification processes approved or accepted by the State. If applicable, the qualification curriculum as defined in the operator's Advanced Qualification Program could be applied. Flight crew members are familiarized with the significant differences in equipment and/or procedures between concurrently operated types. The difference among different types of airpcrafts decrease and standards for these airpcrafts can be applied increasingly because function and performance have been improved by aircraft manufacture company in accordance to basic aircraft system in terms of developing new aircrafts for flight standard procedure and safety of flight. Also, it becomes more necessary for flight crews to control multi aircraft types due to various aviation business and activation of leisure business. Nevertheless, in terms of flight crew training and qualification program, there are no regulations in Korea to be applied to new aircraft types differently in accordance with different levels. In addition, it has no choice different programs based on different levels because there are not provisions to restrict or limit and specific standards to operate at or more than two aircraft types for flight safety. Therefore the aviation authority introduce Flight Standardization and/or Operational Evaluation Board in order to analysis differences among aircraft types. In addition to that, the aviation authority should also improve standard flight evaluation and qualification system among different aircraft types for flight crews to apply reasonable training and qualification efficiently. For all the issue mentioned above, I have studied the ICAO SARPs and some state's regulation concerning operating aircraft of different types(Mixed-fleet flying), and suggested some proposals on the different aircraft type operation as an example of comprehensive problem solving. I hope that this paper is 1) to help understanding about the international issue, 2) to help the improvement of korean aviation regulations, 3) to help compliance with international standards and to contribute to the promotion of aviation safety, in addition.

  • Excepting tunnel of dorimstream - ccachimountain station section, the subway line No.2th section was build using ASSM and NATM methods because of soil pressure and land condition. The way of dealing underground water was selected without sufficient preconsideration of geographical features, ground condition, influence of lowing underground water, and long-term cost of running maintenance so that the form of undrained tunnel was build having decreased construction characteristics and technically improper elements. The form of partial drainage is very difficult to manage structures of tunnel, because water leakage, water pressure causing cracks of lining concretes and scaling are constantly happened. so partial drainage suggest that setting reinforced Anchor Bolt to prevent buoyancy and should increase center drainage way up to height of railroad. Partial drainage suggest that holey pipe(${\phi}$350mm) manhole, drainage checking pipe manhole are should be regularly dredged, when changing roadbed(gravel${\rightarrow}$concrete) drainage checking pipe manhole should be build and setting a limitation of entering underground water's quantities. Beside drainage degree in changed section of structures causing instability of structures is continuous degree. so if efficient drainage way and the patterns of flaws, problems are considered in survey, it will be expected to have a advantage condition in maintenance part.

  • This study defined the name of records producing institution as the unique preferred form of access point which has same identification and same entity by using Standard Administration Code, and also described the name of records producing institution which has various name form as formal-name form of access point, which has same identification and same entity. This study make us be able to identify and access to all of the records that institution, has same identification and same entity, has produced. And the mechanic, I designed by ontology would make reinforce 'the principle of provenance' and 'respect for orignal order' and make user satisfy in useability of archives and expanded retrieval results.

  • Currently, there are many software tools that can generate 3D human figure models and animations based on the advancement of computer graphics technology. However, we still have problems in interoperability of human data models in different applications because common data models do not exist. To address this issue, the Web3D Consortium and the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC24 WG6 have developed the H-Anim standard. However, H-Anim does not include human motion data formats although it defines the structure of a human figure. This research is intended to obtain interoperable human animation by defining the data for human motions in H- Anim figures. In this paper, we describe a syntactic method to define motion data for the H-Anim figure and its implementation. In addition, we describe a method of specifying motion parameters necessary for generating animations by using an arbitrary character model data set created by a general graphics tool.

  • Based on the internet-based infrastructures such as various information devices, social network systems and cloud computing environments, distributed and sharable data are growing explosively. Recently, as a data analysis and mining technique for extracting, analyzing and classifying the inherent and useful knowledge and information, Formal Concept Analysis on binary or many-valued data has been successfully applied in many diverse fields. However, in formal concept analysis, there has been little research conducted on analyzing interval data whose attributes have some interval values. In this paper, we propose a new approach for classification of interval data based on the formal concept analysis. We present the development of a supporting tool(iFCA) that provides the proposed approach for the binarization of interval data table, concept extraction and construction of concept hierarchies. Finally, with some experiments over real-world data sets, we demonstrate that our approach provides some useful and effective ways for analyzing and mining interval data.

  • This study assessed the accuracies of the ground information extracting methods from the LiDAR data. Especially, it compared two kinds of method, one of them is using directly the raw LiDAR data which is point type vector data and the other is using changed data to DSM type as the normal grid type. The methods using Local Maxima and Entropy methods are applied as a former case, and for the other case, this study applies the method using edge detection with filtering and the generated reference surface by the mean filtering. Then, the accuracy assessment are performed with these results, DEM constructed manually and the error permitted limit in scale of digital map. As a results, each DEM mean errors of methods using edge detection with filtering, reference surface, Local Maxima and Entropy are 0.27m, 2.43m, 0.13m and 0.10m respectively. Hence, the method using entropy presented the highest accuracy. And an accuracy from a method directly using the raw LiDAR data has higher accuracy than the method using changed data to DSM type relatively.

  • The aim of this study is to find how unformal proof activities contribute to solving problems successfully and to confirm the role of teachers in the progress. For this, we developed a task that can help students communicate actively with the concept of unformal proof activities and conducted a case lesson with 6 graders in Elementary school. The study shows that unformal proof activities contribute to constructing representations which are needed to solve math problems, setting up plans for problem-solving and finding right answers accordingly as well as verifying the appropriation of the answers. However, to get more out of it, teachers need to develop a variety of tasks that can stimulate students and also help them talk as actively as they can manage to find right answers. Furthermore, encouraging their guessing and deepening their thought with appropriate remarks and utterances are also very important part of what teachers need to have in order to get more positive effect from these activities.

  • In Europe, it is necessary to fulfil the type certification criteria by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) when developing an aircraft engine. According to type certification criteria, a 150 hours endurance test should be performed to verify the stability of the engine structure under the engine's operating limit conditions. The type certification criteria for the 150 hour endurance test are specified in JAR-E, which is the EASA type certification. Currently, the Arriel 2L2 engine is being developed in cooperation with a foreign manufacturer, and a 150 hours endurance test was performed. In this study, a 150 hours endurance test procedure is conducted in consideration of the operation characteristics of the currently developed engine.
