Prediction of Hydodynamic Impact Loads on Three-Dimensional Bodies (3차원 물체에 작용하는 유체동력학적 충격하중추정)

  • The three dimensional aspects of hydrodynamic impact are discussed. Theoretical and experimental results for a sphere and a cusped body are presented. The cusped body is axisymmetric and resembles the bow profile of a ship with flare. The sphere was subjected to both vertical and oblique impact angles while the cusped body experienced only vertical motion. Three dimensional calculations using normal dipole distributions and an equi-potentioal free surface are compared with experimental results. The theoretical boundary value problem was solved using a known interior flow. This procedure reduced computation times significantly. Comparisons between theory and experiment show that, depending upon the body shape theoretical estimates of the maximum impact force may be larger or smaller than the experimental values. But the theoretical estimate can be used for practical purposes.

  • Knowledge of camera parameters, such as position, orientation and focal length, is essential to 3D information recovery or virtual object insertion. This paper analyzes the error sensitivity of focal length due to position error of feature points which are employed for self-calibration. We verify the dependency of the focal length on the distance from the principal point to feature points with simulations, and propose a criterion for feature selection to reduce the error sensitivity.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the design and the construction for the most economic and safe slope stability analysis. The approach to the purpose Iies in analyzing the characteristic on direction and distance by the sample value for the geotechnical parameters using the semi-variogram concept. Based on the result, we derive the Kriging system equation from the stochastical concept and solve the equation to find the weighting factor which is applied both the point estimation and the block estimation in the particular position. Comparing and analyzing the various methods. we find the best reliability, which is more accurate than any other.

Multi-View Image Deblurring for 3D Shape Reconstruction (3차원 형상 복원을 위한 다중시점 영상 디블러링)

  • In this paper, we propose a method to reconstruct accurate 3D shape object by using multi-view images which are disturbed by motion blur. In multi-view deblurring, more precise PSF estimation can be done by using the geometric relationship between multi-view images. The proposed method first estimates initial 2D PSFs from individual input images. Then 3D PSF candidates are projected on the input images one by one to find the best one which are mostly consistent with the initial 2D PSFs. 3D PSF consists with direction and density and it represents the 3D trajectory of object motion. 야to restore 3D shape by using multi-view images computes the similarity map and estimates the position of 3D point. The estimated 3D PSF is again projected to input images and they replaces the intial 2D PSFs which are finally used in image deblurring. Experimental result shows that the quality of image deblurring and 3D reconstruction improves significantly compared with the result when the input images are independently deblurred.

  • In this paper, method for mapping a three-dimensional shape into the two-dimensional plane will be introduced. This method is referred to geometric modelling and means a transformation between the flat sheet and final surface. The initial blank shape represents the original configuration of the final shape formed into three dimensional surface. The initial constant constant area mapping hypothesis was used in this paper. This technique will be applied to the basic data for an interactive computer design capable of dealing with typical stamping process, including deep parts and complex shapes.

  • 구조적 조명 기법은 그레이코드 패턴광을 물체에 투영시켜 정확하게 3차원 형상 정보를 복원 할 수 있는 방법이다. 그러나 물체에 투영되는 그레이코드 패턴광이 카메라에 정확하게 인식 되어야 보다 정밀하게 3차원 좌표를 추정할 수 있다. 즉, 주변광의 밝기가 패턴광의 밝기에 비해 무시할 수 없을 정도로 밝은 경우 카메라가 물체와 투영된 패턴을 정확히 인식하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 구조적 조명 기법이 주변의 밝기에 따라 제한적인 문제점을 해결하기 위해 High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDRI) 알고리즘을 적용시켜 보다 넓은 동적 범위의 밝기 영역에서 3차원 형상을 정확하게 복원하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험결과 HDRI를 이용하여 복원하였을 경우 그렇지 않은 경우에 비해 복원 정밀도가 크게 개선되는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

  • Not all line or point features capable of being extracted by sonar sensors from cluttered home environments are useful for simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) due to their ambiguity because it is difficult to determine the correspondence of line or point features with previously registered feature. Confused line and point features in cluttered environments leads to poor SLAM performance. We introduce a sonar feature structure suitable for a cluttered environment and the extended Kalman filter (EKF)-based SLAM scheme. The reliable line feature is expressed by its end points and engaged togather in EKF SLAM to overcome the geometric limits and maintain the map consistency. Experimental results demonstrate the validity and robustness of the proposed method.

  • TLS(Terrestrial Laser Scanning)는 레이저를 이용하여 물체의 3차원 위치 정보를 원격으로 획득할 수 있는 시스템이다. 그러나 TLS로부터 획득한 3차원 위치 정보는 처짐 또는 응력 평가 등에 있어서 구조 정보로서 사용하기에는 한계가 있다. 따라서 정밀한 형상정보의 획득을 위해서는 3차원 형상 좌표 정보에 대한 적절한 데이터 처리가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 구조물에 작용하는 하중 또는 지점 조건에 대한 정보 없이 회기분석의 중첩을 이용하여 TLS로부터 얻은 대상물의 이산화 된 위치 정보로 부터 구조물의 정밀한 변형 형상을 추정할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

  • 제한수역에서 측벽부근을 대형선박이 항행할 경우, 측벽으로 인하여 발생하는 유체력이 대형선박의 조종운동에 상당히 크게 영향을 미친다는 것은 잘 알려져 있다. 이 논문에서는 방파제형상을 하고 있는 측벽 부근을 대형선박이 항행하는 경우, 선박과 방파제 형상간의 간섭력 추정을 위해 세장체 이론을 토대로 한 계산 방법을 적용하였으며, 선박에 미치는 측벽의 영향을 파악하기 위하여 방파제길이, 방파제와 선박간의 거리 및 수심을 변수로 하여 선박과 측벽과의 간섭력을 수치 계산하였다.

  • An algorithm is proposed for estimating dynamic displacements of a bridge by using FBG sensors and by superposing some measurable low modes. Modal displacements are obtained from the beam theory and the generalized coordinates are deduced from the strains measured by FBG sensors. By considering flexural and torsional modes occurred in bridges only as flexural modes of a simply supported beam by separating a bridge into multiple girders or parts, the proposed algorithm can be applied to various types of bridges. Guidelines are provided theoretically for determining the number of modes and the number of strain gages to be used. The proposed algorithm has been examined through simulation studies on various types of bridges, laboratory experiments on a model bridge, and field tests on a simple span PC Box girder bridge. Through the simulation study, the effects of the error in the vibration modes and measurement noise on estimating the dynamic displacements are analyzed.
