  • VTS 항해의 특징은 동적복잡계의 특성을 보인다는 점이다. 자율적인 행위자들인 여러 선박이 서로 영향을 끼치며 상호작용하기 때문에 불확실성이 지배하게 된다. 이러한 불확실성으로 인한 위험을 극복하기 위한 방안으로 본 연구에서는 협력항해(co-navigation)이라는 개념을 중심으로 논의를 전개하였다. 본질적으로 협력항해는 수많은 상황판단과 의사결정들의 집합체이기 때문에 우선 개별 선박들의 상황판단이 어떻게 이루어지는가를 연구하는 것으로부터 출발하여야 한다. 따라서 본고에서는 항해에서 있어서의 상황자각이 어떻게 기능하는지 알아보고, 개인적인 상황판단에서 VTS 전체 차원의 최종 의사결정이 이루어지는 전 과정을 6단계로 세분하여 논의를 전개하였다. 이렇게 세분한 각 단계에서 양질의 인지과업이 이루어지도록 돕고, 이때 저지르게 되는 실수를 수정할 수 있도록 여유시간을 확보할 수 있도록 함으로써 궁극적으로 항해위험을 줄일 수 있다는 것을 이번 연구에서 밝히고자 하였다.

  • 인터넷 기반 기술에 의한 e비즈니스 환경 하에서 기업들은 기존과는 다른 경쟁양식을 보여주고 있다. Covisint나 Exostar와 같은 자동차 산업이나 항공기 제조 산업의 사례에서 볼 수 있듯이, 이전까지는 적대적이었던 경쟁자들과의 상호 협력(collaboration)이 일어나고, 산업 차원의 마켓플레이스도 구축되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 e비즈니스 환경 하에서의 경쟁기업 간 협력에 대해 설명하기 위해서 시스템 다이나믹스 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 결국 이 논문에서는 경쟁자와의 협력의 필요성을 제시하고, 이를 위한 최적 투자 의사결정이 존재함을 제시하며, 또한 표준화 정도나 변동성 등의 산업 특성에 따라서 협력의 효과가 달라짐을 보여준다.

Prediction-Based Adaptive Selection Cooperation Schemes (예측 정보를 이용한 적응적 협력 선택기법)

  • This paper proposes two novel prediction-based adaptive selection cooperation schemes combined with a new relay selection strategy. In the proposed schemes, the destination predicts whether the transmission will be successful or not before a single relay is selected to transmit source's decoded data. Depending on the prediction, the destination feeds back a command to the whole network. Numerical results show that the proposed schemes combined with the relay selection strategy successfully reduce its outage probability, improve its throughput, save transmitted power, and prolong the lifetime of the network.

  • For the purchase of a cheaper product on the Internet, many customers have been trying to search online shopping mall sites and visit comparison-pricing shops that compare prices and other criteria of the product. Others have been participating into online auction markets or group-buying markets. However, a lot of online shopping malls, auction markets, and group-buying markets provide the same product with different prices. Since these marketplaces have different price settlement mechanism, it is very difficult for the customers to determine marketplace to purchase, considering different kinds of marketplaces at the same time. To overcome such limitations, decision rules and solution procedures for purchase decision making are necessary, which can cover multiple marketplaces simultaneously. For this purpose, purchase decision making in each market must be conducted to maximize customer's utility, and conflicts with other marketplaces must be resolved. Therefore, we have developed the rules and methods that can negotiate cooperatively the purchase decision making in several marketplaces, and designed an architecture of Intelligent Buyer Agent and a message structure to support the idea.

Exploring Changes in Organizational Culture after Firm-Wide Institutionalization of Smart Work: Case of a Service Company 'H' (스마트워크 후 조직 문화 변화 연구: 서비스 대기업 'H사' 사례)

  • While there is a rapid transition to smart work due to COVID-19, not many studies have measured the changes in organizational culture after firm-wide institutionalization of smart work. Through a questionnaire and a series of stakeholder interviews, this study examined how and to what extent employees' perception of organizational culture changed after the introduction of smart work in a large leisure service company H in South Korea. The working culture of the organization is measured as the changes in the organizational members' perception on seven dimensions: strategic innovativeness, organizational flexibility, fair human resource management, rational decision making processes, organizational vitality, trustful collaboration, proactive leadership. The results demonstrated that, after the introduction of smart work, the organizational members' perception on strategic innovativeness, organizational flexibility, organizational vitality, trustful collaboration have declined significantly while the changes in fair human resource management, rational decision making processes, and proactive leadership are insignificant. Though found to be insignificant, follow up interviews revealed that participants think that the role of management leadership is very critical for the smart work systems to be institutionalized successfully. While the smart work may have different effects depending upon industry or organizational characteristics, this study present a case for changes in organizational culture after institutionalizing smart work. Implications are discussed with further research issues at the end.

  • Cooperation and participation in Local Expo by local residents as a Mega event is critically important to maximize the effectiveness of event. By studying on residents' expectation and on whether the expectation affects to their making decision for their attitude, we tried to draw the basis for successful operation of local expo. In conclusion, the result of analysis shows that local residents' expectation on Expo affects positively and meaningfully to their intention and attitude to cooperation and participation.

The Effects of Financial Pressure and Tit for tat Strategy on Decision Making in White-collar crime (재정적 압박과 전략정보 유무가 화이트칼라 범죄 의사결정에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine some factors affecting the decision-making process of white-collar crime. In a between-subject experiment, 102 adult white-collar workers were randomly assigned to a financial pressure condition or tit for tat strategy condition. Participants went through a decision-making process in a modified iterated prisoner's dilemma for a white-collar crime scenario to earn points. The obtained score indicated the risk of committing a crime. The lower the score, the higher was the risk of participating in a crime. The results showed that participants who received only tit for tat strategy information without financial pressure instructions showed the lowest risk of participating in a crime, and those who received only financial pressure without the strategic information had the highest risk of participating in a crime. In addition, those who received the financial pressure instructions were more likely to participate in a crime than those who did not receive financial pressure instructions regardless of the provision of strategic information. The results of this study propose the need for measures to legally relieve financial pressure, the need for education on white-collar crimes for office workers, and the need for a decision-making structure within the enterprise that is not dogmatic but cooperative and mutually verifiable.

  • The relationship between suppliers and customers is treated importantly not only in the traditional business-to-business (BtoB) commerce but also in today's Internet environments. On the one hand, most of Internet-based BtoB commerce services like customer-centric e-procurement, supplier-centric e-sales or intermediary-centric e-marketplace focus mainly on the selection of partners according to bidding, auction, etc. This point may result in the problem of overlooking the relationships between suppliers and customers. To overcome this problem in this paper, an intelligent agents-based supply chain operation architecture is proposed and appraised considering the relationship and its adaptation.

  • 응급 의사소통 시스템(ECS)은 세심한 계획, 설계시공 및 사용이 요구된다. 음성으로 메시지를 전달하는 시스템은 수많은 사용자, 관계당국, 종사자 및 전문가와 관련된 수많은 도전에 직면해 있다. 관련 당사자와 전문가가 결정되고 응급 의사소통 시스템(ECS) 프로젝트의 초기 설계 단계부터 포함되도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 음성 전달 시스템은 통상적인 화재 경보 시스템과는 많이 다르기 때문에, 엔지니어는 새로운 기술을 적용하고 새로운 설계 기법 또는 경험이 있는 새로운 전문가를 찾아 협력해야 한다. 관계 당국과 건물주는 응급 의사소통 시스템(ECS)의 설계에 적극 참여해야 한다. 응급 의사소통 시스템(ECS)의 음성 메시지를 무시하거나 부분적으로만 전달하는 것은 응급 상황 시 음성을 이용한 의사소통의 효과와 품질을 위태롭게 하는 것이다.

A Study of Call Admission Control Scheme using Noncooperative Game under Homogeneous Overlay Wireless Networks (동종의 중첩 무선 네트워크에서 비협력적 게임을 이용한 호수락 제어기법의 연구)

  • This paper proposes CAC method that is more efficient for RRM using game theory combined with Multiple Attribute Decision Making(MADM). Because users request services with different Quality of Service(QoS), the network preference values to alternative networks for each service are calculated by MADM methods such as Grey Relational Analysis(GRA), Simple Additive Weighting(SAW) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS). According to a utility function representing preference value, non-cooperative game is played, and then network provider select the requested service that provide maximum payoff. The appropriate service is selected through Nash Equilibrium that is the solution of game and the game is played repeated. We analyze two overlaid networks among four Wireless LAN(WLAN) systems with different properties. Simulation results show that proposed MADM techniques have same outcomes for every game round.
