  • The purpose of this study is to develop and implement cooperative consumption education programs using design thinking in middle school home economics education classes to understand the impact on students' cooperative problem solving competency. Accordingly, a cooperative consumption education program based on design thinking was developed according to the ADDIE model, and the evaluation was conducted on a total of 25 students. The results of the study were as follows. First, based on prior research, we developed a consumption education program based on D. school's design thinking process under the theme of 'Creating a Shared School' for the practice of cooperative consumption. As a result of expert validity verification of the teaching/learning course plan and workbook for the eight sessions, the average question was 4.72 (out of 5 points) and the average CVI was 0.93, indicating that the content validity and field suitability were excellent. Second, to summarize the results achieved from the implementation of the cooperative consumption education program, the pre-/post-test using the revised and supplemented cooperative problem-solving competency tool, and the open-ended survey, It was confirmed that the developed program had a significant effect on improving not only the students' knowledge and perceived necessity for cooperative consumption along with the awareness of practice, but also the cooperative problem-solving competency. As a follow-up study, we propose to expand the research to a wider audience, and to further conduct research and develop programs applied with design thinking in home economics curriculum and in consumer competency development. This study confirmed that cooperative consumption education programs using design thinking are effective in improving youth's cooperative problem-solving competency and is meaningful in that they developed consumption education programs under the theme of 'cooperative consumption' in response to changing consumer education needs.

Based on existing research relating to the factors affecting industry-university-research institutes cooperation and the relationship between them and firm performance, this study selected the competence of government-funded research institutes, R&D capabilities and organizational characteristics of firms, and support of government and local governments; as factors influencing cooperation between industry and public research institutes. This study sets seven hypotheses on the relationship between the factors promoting industry-public research institute cooperation, technological performance and economic performance. A questionnaire survey was used to collect data for hypothesis testing and 116 questionnaires were completed and used in this research. The PLS-MGA was used as a method for hypothesis testing. In the analysis results, we found that the competence of government-funded research institutes, organizational characteristics of firms, and the support of government and local governments have a positive impact on cooperation between industry and public research institutes. We also found that the collaboration between industry and public research institutes, positively affects firms' technological performance. In addition, we found that the technological performance of a firm, positively affects a firms' economic performance. On the other hand, firms' R&D capabilities have no significant effect on cooperation between industry and public research institutes, and industry-public research institute cooperation does not directly affect the economic performance of firms.

  • This paper analyzes the role of strategic fit, cooperation, and performance in small-sized subpart suppliers' interactions with large businesses. For this purpose, this paper analyzes survey data from 90 first-tier suppliers of Samsung Electronics and evaluates how strategic fit and cooperative relationships affect their performance. Empirical analysis suggests that strategic fit positively affects small companies' business and innovation performance. This finding aligns with theories arguing for strategies that accommodate specific business environments. In addition, strategic fit is crucial for innovativeness of SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). With regard to forming relationships with large companies, findings also show that high quality technological and personnel cooperation boosts subpart suppliers' productivity and efficiency as notably reflected in SMEs' business performance. Moreover, such cooperation between small and large companies reinforces the benefits associated with strategic fit and innovation. This means that if the business environment of small-sized subpart suppliers is uncertain, harnessing differentiated strategies and pursuing collaborations with prime companies will produce innovative outcomes (e.g., increased patent publications). On the other hand, when degree of uncertainty is small, pursuing cost leadership strategies and collaborating with prime companies in areas, such as technology and personnel, will help small-sized subpart suppliers produce innovative outcomes. Based on these findings, this paper argues that choosing the right competitive strategy for a specific business context is intrinsically tied to (1) augmenting technological and human collaborations with prime companies, (2) improving the quality of these interactions, and (3) generating competitiveness among small subpart suppliers. Both competition and cooperation are necessary for strengthening the competitiveness of small companies.

• CoMP(Coordinated Multi-Point transmission and reception) refers to a cooperative transmission strategy to control the interference from adjacent base stations in cellular mobile communication systems, which efficiently enhances the data throughput of the systems. As the number of the base stations participating in cooperative transmission increases, however, a larger amount of information exchange to carry the CSI(Channel State Information) of the mobile terminals is required. In this paper, we propose a partial CoMP transmission method for systems under the constraint of finite feedback information data. This method selects candidates of base stations which can provide high efficiency gain when they participate in the CoMP set. To achieve this, the cooperative base station combination is constructed by considering the preferred base stations of users. The cooperative base station combinations are dynamically applied since the preferred base station combinations of users may be different. We perform computer simulations to compare performance of the non-CoMP, full-CoMP and partial CoMP in terms of the average throughput using finite feedback and demonstrate the performance improvement of the proposed method.

  • This study devotes to compare the accuracy of Top-N recommendations of items transacted on the web site for customers with the accuracy of rank conformity of the real ratings with estimated ratings for customers preference about items generated from two types of collaborative filtering algorithms. One is Neighborhood Based Collaborative Filtering Algorithm(NBCFA) and the other is Correspondence Mean Algorithm(CMA). The result of this study shows the accuracy of Top-N recommendations and the rank conformity of real ratings with estimated ratings generated by CMA are better than that of NBCFA. It would be expected that the customer's satisfaction in Recommender System is more improved by using the prediction result from CMA than NBCFA, and then Using CMA in collaborative filtering recommender system is more efficient than using NBCFA.
