The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data necessary to improve the planning and operations for an effective on-the-job training (OJT) by analyzing educational effects and deciding on a career for employment (DCE) effects of OJT based on the perceptions of employees from the specialized high school (SHS). The survey was performed with 301 employees who are working in the industrial institutions including the OJT, among the nation's specialized technical high school graduates. 240 questionnaires were analyzed. The major results of this study are as following. First, the effects of OJT are as following. The OJT have educational effects such as the improvement of job ability and adaptability to workplace, refinement of working life, and career guidance. However, the OJT almost don't have educational effects for contents in relation to the majors in SHS. The OJT had basic DCE effects on graduates, and consistently have had them since they graduated from SHS. Second, the difference of OJT effects by employees' background variables is as following. By the gender, the OJT have more educational effects and DCE effects on male than female. By the types of career decision before taking part in the OJT, the OJT has more educational effects and DCE effects on employees with a high degree of career decision. By the working life satisfaction, the higher working life satisfaction, the higher OJT effects. Therefore, the OJT should be operated to make students feel satisfied with the OJT in order to correspond with the purpose of specialized high school - cultivating talent in specific areas.

A case study was investigated the effect of student field practice of employed worker who graduate department of New Materials & Applied Chemistry of Chungwoon University. A question sheet were composed the general information(8 terms), practice data(3 terms), trouble (10 terms) and effect (9 terms). The results of analysis 40 answer sheets among alumni of 2001 - 2004 are summarized as follows ; the problem of student field practice were rare opportunity on selection of field practice institute (enterprise) and non systemic operation of enterprise. The effect of student field practice were the relation of academic curriculum and the assist on the job guidance. The student field practice was connected on the job almost.

현장경험교육이란 학교교육의 일부로써 학생을 재학 중에 전공관련 작업 환경에 직접 참여시켜 교양적 혹은 직업적으로 필요한 교육경험을 얻도록 계획된 프로그램으로 우리나라에서는 현장실습이라는 용어로 행해지고 있다. 식품영양학 전공과 관련된 학과인 경우 단체급식과목의 일환으로 영양사 현장 실습이라는 교육과정을 시행하고 있는 학교는 많으나 현장실습에 대한 교육효과나 학생들의 요구사항등을 구체적으로 파악한 연구는 매우 제한적이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실제로 영양사 현장실습을 체험한 학생을 대상으로 현행 영양사 현장실습이 안고 있는 제반 문제점들을 파악하고 효과적인 실습 운영 방안을 모색하고자 설문조사를 시행하였다. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether library field study expands students' understanding of their knowledge acquired in school. For this purpose, six major areas of LIS(Library and Information Science) and 29 sub-major knowledge were derived, and 19 fourth-year undergraduate students were surveyed before and after field study. The analysis showed that there was a difference in comprehension between the pre- and post-tests in the major areas where the students had direct practice, but there was no significant relationship between field study using Fisher's exact test. In the future, it is necessary to conduct a follow-up study with a long-term practice and a large number of students, and this study will be a step towards discovering the possibility that field study can make a positive contribution to the understanding of knowledge.

This study was performed to find out how to improve the usefulness and effectiveness of the field practice program in Library and Information Science by diagnosing the practical instructor's perception of the overall field practice in the Library and Information Science. To achieve this goal, we conducted a research on the current situation and a measurement in perception of the field practice program through a survey of practical instructors at practical training institutions. We, then, analyzed the factors affecting the perception and examined the relationship between the effects. As a result of investigating the factors affecting the perception of field practice, 'operational accountability for the field practice program' was found to be a significant factor among other factors such as the general characteristics of the practical instructors, the characteristics of library related work and the field practice status of the practical training institutions. And factors of 'practice environment' and 'practice instruction method' have been identified to have a significant impact as a result of analyzing how the six factors constituting the perception of field practice effect on the overall perception of field practice of the practical instructors.

In this study, the effect of field practice on the career exploration of college students was analyzed and the effect of adjusting the psychological variable, enterprising, was tested. To this end, the survey was conducted on university students who participated in the field practice. An analysis of 193 data showed that the effectiveness of field practice and the suitability of field practice companies were factors that increased the ability of college students to explore their career path. In addition, individual initiative was analyzed as a parameter, which strengthens the effectiveness of the practice and the suitability of the practical company on the ability of the career exploration. Universities should find quality practice companies and maintain the right field practice, and need to come up with pre-education programs that can improve career-related psychological capabilities.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Industrial Professional Practice(IPP) at university education as a way of innovation strategy in order to effectively respond industrial needs in dynamic environment. A Industrial Professional Practice model was developed by using a structured on the job training model and had a 7 steps which were "planning Industrial Professional Practice, selecting enterprises and students, matching enterprises and students, job analysis, design and development program, implementation, evaluation and feedback. Based on the Industrial Professional Practice model, the directions for the future studies was discussed.

This study was analyzed in a phenomenological way to identify the depth of the experience from the perspective of students who participated in field trips and to understand in-depth the practical knowledge and meaning of the process. The subjects of the study were nine people with experience in field training for beauty college students, and they were in-depth stories from October to December 2020. The collected data were analyzed by Colaizzi method. The results of this study showed four essential topic vowels: "Expectation on Field Practice," "Necessity of Practical Education," "Difficulties Experienced in Field Practice," and "The Endurance of Field Practice." Based on the results of this study, the importance of being designed more systematically to enhance the effectiveness of learning experiences so that the effectiveness of learning experiences can be improved with confidence to cope with field practice.

Field practicum is the core of Social Work education and plays a key role in the integration of theory and practice. To maximize the effectiveness of field education, it is important that both the faculty field liaison and field instructor are cooperated. However, the current field education is almost dependent on the supervision by field instructors. This study explores the perception on the areas of supervision by using the Q-methodology. As a result, the perception of faculty field liaison was categorized into three types and field instructors' was two. Their types of perception were partially overlapped rather than contrast. Findings of the study suggested the need for greater collaboration between academia and agencies.

This study focuses on two analysis: direct cognition of effectiveness of internship practicum, difference of career attitude maturity. The purpose of this experimental case study is to find out the practical problems of Internship education as a field-study of LIS by applying Job-Shadowing Internship methods. The results reveal that 71% of interns responded the positive effects of Job-Shadowing, but the effects to the career attitude maturity was not statistically significant. The implications of the case study are as follows; (1) systematic pre-instruction and orientation from the department are the critical factor of internship, (2) practicum guidelines(PEP), which is provided by the person in charge of tasks in internship institutions is the another important factor, and finally, (3) tools for measuring the effectiveness of internship is required for LIS practicum major course development.
