Improvements of Model Scramjet Engine Performance and Ground Test (모델 스크램제트 엔진의 성능개선 및 지상시험)

  • Scramjet engine is one of the core parts of hypersonic vehicle of next generation and being investigated by many countries. Korea Aerospace Research Institute performed a ground test of the model scramjet engine S1 in 2007. And, S2 model which is improved from S1 model in engine startability and thrust was tested with HIEST (High Enthalpy Shock Tunnel) at Kakuda Space Center of JAXA. Design condition of S2 model was Mach 6.7, however, it was tested at Mach 7.7 as an off-design condition test. As a test result, flow separation was found at the inside of the intake, but the engine showed stable combustion pressure distribution. Furthermore, compared to other test models, S2 model showed a good performance value in thrust and specific impulse.

  • To apply Wi-Fi technique to the Broadcast field, we have to study features of IEEE 802.11 Broadcast packet. IEEE 802.11 Broadcast technique cannot guarantee successful packet delivery than IEEE 802.11 Unicast. A promising solution to this problem is the use of FEC(Forward Error Correction) mechanisms. However, the adjustment of the FEC redundancy rate is not a trivial issue due to the dynamic wireless environment. In order to explore the above issues we conducted an experimental study of the packet loss behavior of the IEEE 802.11g protocol. In order to study, we implemented a broadcast test bed. Based on the experimental results, we provide guidelines on wireless lan parameters(packet size, transmission rate(11g), background traffic). From this experimental study, we provide FEC redundancy rate.

Design, fabrication and characterization of a flap valve mircopump using an ionic polymer-metal composite actuator (이온성 폴리머-금속 복합재료 작동층을 사용한 플랩 밸브 마이크로 펌프의 설계, 개발 및 특성 규명)

  • In this paper, a flap valve micropump with an ionic polymer-metal composite (IPMC) actuator was designed, fabricated, and experimentally characterized. A multilayered IPMC based on Nafion/layered silicate and Nafion/silica nanocomposites was fabricated for the actuation section of the micropump. The IPMC diaphragm, a key element of the mircopump, was designed so that the IPMC actuator was supported by a flexible polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) structure at its perimeter. This design feature enabled a significantly high displacement of the IPMC diaphragm. The overall size of the micropump is $20{\times}20{\times}5$ ${mm}^3$. Water flow rates of up to 760 ${\mu}l$/min and a maximum backpressure of 1.5 kPa were recorded. A significant advantage of the proposed micropump is its low driven voltage from only 1-3 V. In addition, a simple and effective design, and an ease of manufacturing are other advantages of the present micropump.

A Study on Korean Inbound Tourism Market Efficiency Strategy Using Portfolio Theory (포트폴리오 이론을 적용한 한국 인바운드 관광 효율화 전략 연구)

  • The inbound tourism market is recognized as a vital sector of the tourism industry today, but it is highly volatile due to each country's economic, social, and cultural variables. The causes of volatility vary according to the inbound country, and we intend to revitalize the stabilized tourism industry by minimizing risks. In this study, the portfolio theory was applied to derive the optimal combination for each country to achieve the minimum risk level's maximum growth rate. The number of inbound travelers and the average expenditure per person was simultaneously applied. As a result of the analysis, the best mix by country based on the number of inbound travelers was the UK, the United States, Germany, China, and Japan. Based on average spending, each country's best combinations were Thailand, Middle East, Singapore, Japan, Russia, Hong Kong, and Germany. It is expected to be able to establish a plan to operate the Korean inbound tourism market strategically.

A Study on the Landscape Interpretation of Songge Byeoleop(Korean Villa) Garden at Jogyedong, Mt. Bukhansan near Seoul for the Restoration (북한산 조계동 송계별업(松溪別業) 정원 복원을 위한 경관해석)

  • This study was conducted to interpret the landscape of Songge Byeoleop(Korean villa) garden at Jogyedong, Bukhansan near Seoul which was built in the mid 17C. to restore through the literature reviews and field surveys. The results were as follows; Songge Byeoleop garden was a royal villa, constructed at King Injo24(1646) of Joseon dynasty by prince Inpyeong(麟坪大君), Lee, Yo(李?, 1622~1658), the third son of King Injo who was a brother of King Hyojong. It was a royal villa, Seokyang-lu under Mt. Taracsan of Gyendeokbang, about 7km away in the straight line from main building. It was considered that the building system was a very gorgeous with timber coloring because of owner's special situation who was called the great prince. The place of Songge Byeoleop identity and key landscape of the place were consisted with Gucheon waterfall and the sound of the water with multi-layered waterfall which might be comparable to the waterfall of Yeosan in China. After the destruction of the building, the place was used for the royal tomb quarry, but there was a mark stone for forbidden quarry. The Inner part of Songge Beoleop, centered with Jogedongcheon, Chogye-dong, composted beautifully with the natural sceneries of Gucheon waterfall, Handam and Changbeok, and artificial structures, such as Bihong-bridge, Boheogak, Yeonghyudang and Gyedang. In addition, the existing Chinese characters, 'Songge Beoleop' and 'Gucheoneunpog' carved in the rocks are literary languages and place markings symbolizing with the contrast of the different forests and territories. They gave the names of scenery to the rock and gave meaning to them. Particularly, Gucheon waterfall which served as a visual terminal point, is a cascade type with multi-staged waterfall. and the lower part shows the topographical characteristics of the Horse Bowl-shaped jointed with port-holes. On the other hand, the outer part is divided into the spaces for the main entrance gate, a hanging bridge character, a bridge connecting the inside and the outside, and Yeonghyudang part for the purpose of living. Also in the Boheogak area, dual view frame structures are made to allow the view of the four sides including the width and the perimeter of the villa. In addition, at the view point in Bihong-bridge, the Gucheon water fall divides between the sacred and profane, and crosses the Bihong-bridge and climbs to the subterranean level.

A Family Outdoor Game Development based on Large Screen Display: Punch Punch Diet (대형스크린 기반 가족형 아웃도어 게임 개발: 펀치 펀치 다이어트)

  • 게임이 생활의 일부분과 산업구조상 핵심산업으로 자리하면서 그 사용빈도가 점점 증가하고 있으나 그 주 사용층이 젊은층이고 온라인 형태의 게임컨텐츠가 주를 이루면서 사용자들의 체력저하 및 개인화, 그리고 그들 가족간의 대화시간이 줄어들고 있다. 본 논문에서는 개인화되는 온라인 게임을 탈피하여 게임의 장르를 가족형 게임 (Family Game), 아웃도어 (Outdoor) 그리고 협력(Cooperation)의 개념으로 설정하고, 게임 소재를 사회적 문제점으로 떠오르고 있는 다이어트로 함으로써 새로운 시각에서 가족 구성원 모두가 게임에 참여할 수 있는 다수 참여형 인터렉티브 게임, 펀치 펀치 다이어트 (Punch Punch Diet)를 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 구현한 펀치펀치다이어트 게임은 대형스크린을 기반으로 한 가족형 게임에 관한 것으로, 컴퓨터 비전을 이용하여 게임참여자의 특정색상 및 패턴검출을 함으로써 기존의 마우스와 조이스틱등이 가지고 있던 정적인 입력인터페이스 방식을 탈피하여 게임 참여자 모두가 몸의 위치를 입력으로 이용하는 직관적 사용자 입력 인터페이스를 사용하였다. 펀치펀치 다이어트 게임은 기존 게임이 가지고 있던 "사람-(물리적 입력장치)-게임"의 관계를 "사람-(비접촉 입력장치)-게임"의 관계로 매핑한 게임으로 게임에 참여하는 사용자가 특별한 컴퓨터 입력장치 조작에 관련된 지식없이도 능동적으로 게임에 참여할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 1960년대 이후 경제규명의 괄목할 만한 성장과 생산규모가 확대되어 비용 최소화를 통한 물류분 야의 근대화가 핵심적인 문제로 대두됨에도 불구하고 체계적이며 효율적인 물류체계의 부재로 인한 물 류비의 상승은 산업경쟁력을 약화시켜 물가상승등의 경제불안을 초래하고 있다. 또 가중되는 도시내 교 통혼잡과 최근들어 시행되고 잇는 도시내 화물차량에 대한 각종 규제로 물류비중 수송비의 비증은 지속 적으로 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라 사회적으로 물류비를 절감시킬수 있는 물류시설에 관한 관 심이 고조되고 있으며 국가나 지방자치 단체 차원에서도 지역간의 물류거점으로서의 유통단지나 복합화 물터미널 등에 대한 필요성이 강조되고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 이러한 지역간 물류거점으로서 체계뿐만 아니라 도시내에서의 물류활동 즉 도시내에 위치한 최종소비자를 대상으로한 수·배송은 도시교통문제 와 물류서비스를 최종적으로 실행과 직결되어 있다는 점에서 매우 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 따라서 본연 구에서는 도시내 물류거점 시설인 배송센타를 대상으로 배송센타 1일 가동시 총물류비용 모형을 도출하 여 1일 총물류비용을 최소화 할 수 있는 배송센터 최적수 결정 모의 실험 모형을 구성하였다. 이와 병 행하여 최근 들어 대형화물차량에 대한 도심진입규제 통행제한 등 각종 화물차량 규제로 인하여 배송행 태 변화에 따른 사례를 상정하여 민간 차원에서 규제후 변화된 물류비의 변화정도와 그비용을 감소시킬 수 있는 방안의 검토를 시행하였다.

  • 최근 석탄 가스화 기술은 화석연료인 석탄을 기존의 공해물질 발생을 90%이상 줄이면서 고효율로 활용할 수 있는 방법으로 각광받고 있다. 본 연구는 습식 석탄 가스화기에서 가스화의 핵심적인 요소인 버너의 분무 관계 분야에 대한 분무 특성 및 무화성능을 높일 수 있는 분무기의 구조 및 운전 조건 등을 제시 할 목적으로 분무 시 내부를 관찰 할 수 있는 아크릴을 이용하여 내부 혼합식 버너를 제작하였다. 미립화 특성을 파악하기 위하여 $O_2$/Fuel Ratio 및 버너의 내부 혼합 방식, 분사각도, 각 분사 높이에 따른 미립화 특성을 관찰하였으며, 입도 분석은 심파텍사의 입도 분석기를 이용하여 측정하였다. 내부 혼합식 버너의 입도는 분사 각도와 $O_2$/Fuel Ratio에 따라서 변화하는 경향을 나타냈으며, 공급되어지는 Fuel은 석탄 슬러리와 물을 이용하여 각각의 입도를 측정하였다. slurry의 공급량이 고정된 상태에서 산소 공급량이 증가함에 따라 미립화도는 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으며, 슬러리 공급량과 산소 공급량이 동일한 경우 버너의 분사 각도에 따라 미립화도가 다르게 나타나는 특성을 관찰하였다.

Bi-directional Fuzzy Matching Algorithm (양방향 퍼지 매칭 알고리즘: 취업정보 적용)

  • Matching customers becomes the key function in on-line mediate services. There are two matching methods: one-directional matching that requires requests from one side(e,g., information searching), bi-directional matching that considers requests from both sides. Previous bi-directional matching has difficulties of getting the interests explicitly and service collapse problems when the opposite side do not put responding interests. This paper attempts to automate the inputs of interests for bi-directional matching by calculating the interests with fuzzy matching algorithm for optimization. The results of the proposed Bi-directional Fuzzy Matching(BDFM) algorithm told that the job placement accuracy of employment information matching results is over 95%. And, BDFM gives statically significant positive effect for motivating the employment activities when analyzed the effect after completing the implementation.

  • Insensitive Munitions(IM) of solid propulsion system are defined as munitions that fulfil the performance and operational requirements, but will minimize the violence of a reaction when subjected to inadvertant stimuli. It should be clear that the reaction violence of rocket motor subjected to thermal stimuli can be mitigated by reducing confinement prior to propellant reaction. Devices designed to do this by venting the rocket motor case are commonly referred to as mitigation devices. The objective of this paper is to introduce the technical information related to the pyrotechnic mitigation devices for insensitive munition of solid rocket motor.
