조형공간의 다원성에 대한 생태학적 접근

  • 21세기는 과학적 물질문명의 발달로 인하여, 과거에는 느껴보지 못했던 물질문명의 풍요를 이끌어 냈으며, 컴퓨터, 메스미디어의 발달로 인하여, 인간 문명의 관심은 지구계를 벗어나 우주론적으로 확장되어 마침내 우주시대를 열었다. 하지만 인간의 이성과 함께 영원하리라 믿었던 과학적 합리성은 20세기 초두에 제국주의적 전쟁을 일으키게 되었으며, 그로 말미암아 이성 파괴 현상이 드러나게 되었다. 급기야 20세기말에 이르러 다원주의라 칭하기도 하는 후기산업사회의 병적 증후군들, 국가간의 경제전쟁, 컴퓨터 및 각종 정보매체를 통한 신속한 정보교환의 이면에는 인간의 자기정체성의 혼돈을 아울러 초래하게 되었다. 과학기술의 발달로 생태계 및 환경은 오염되고 파괴되었다. 20세기말에는 산성비, 엘니뇨, 라니냐 현상으로 인하며, 환경의 재앙을 초래하면서 이제 인간은 문명에 대하여 여태껏 가져왔던 확고한 믿음에 회의를 갖게 된 것이다. 이와 같은 현상은 인간의 주체적 인식과 과학적 믿음의 지나친 숭배로 인하며 자연도 인간에 의하여 지배되고 인간을 위해서만 존재하는, 인간과 자연의 이원론적인 생각 즉, 인간의 이성에 의해서만 가능하다고 생각한 "근대적 주체"에 대한 맹신의 결과인 것이다. 이렇듯 20세기의 문제점은 21세기로 전가되어 여전히 계속되고 있으며, 세계내의 가장 큰 문제점은 전쟁, 기아 등 보다 이제는 오히려 환경. 생태문제로 귀결되어 지구의 생존권 자체가 위협을 받게 되었다. 미술도 서구문명의 근대주의적 영향에 의해서 모더니즘 등 이성위주의 미술인 "근대 주체적 미술"로 발전하였지만 포스터모더니즘에서 보여 지듯 이미 인간의 순수한 이성을 근간으로 한 미술에 있어서의 주체성 주장은 상당부분 무너졌으며, 이제는 장르의 해체와 다원화 현상으로 나아가게 되었다. 환경파괴에 직면하여 이제 주체는 자연이라는 타자를 새롭게 등장시킨다. 그리하여 생명중심주의, 전체론, 감각 중심주의 등 인간과 자연이 함께 공생하는 자연을 향한 생태적인 미술이 절실히 요구되는 것이다. 이에 본 연구논문은 무비판적 서구미술에 동요되지 않고, 지극히 자연적이고 동양적이기도 한 끊임없이 생명력을 창출해 내는 자연에 관심을 같게 되었으며, 환경의 중요성과 함께 생태학적 미술, 즉 생태미술에 본인의 작업을 관계시키고자 한다. 근대적 문명사에 의해 매장된 생태적 유기성의 흔적을 고고학적 탐사방법을 통하며 발굴해 내며, 환경윤리와 생태학, 심층 생태학, 북친의 '사회 생태학'을 수용하여 물질성의 생태적 복원과 함께 조형공간의 다원성에 대한 생태 미술의 일단을 규명코자 하였다.

  • Recently environmental pollution and resource depletion have been rapidly progressing in the world. Construction Industries discharge tones of wastes and consumes heavy resource as compared with the production activities of other industries, so it is the main reason of increasing of the Earth's environment. In Korea, as people become aware of the need of technical and institutional infrastructure for the recycling of construction wastes, they manage Allbraro system which is Total Management System in the wastes. Therefore, they promote the handling of standardized information, processing construction waste of transparency procure and promotion of the efficiency of task about the disposal of occurrence and movement of real-time construction waste. However, objective information for dismantling building did not construct in the organization of the system, so the emission of system randomly produces and discharges information of the waste. Because of that reasons, the exact value of waste abandonment is difficult to measure and recycling after waste disposal has the limit point. Therefore, in this study, advantages and disadvantages of the existing waste management system are analyzed, and we improved solution of construction building and environment of the city when BIM / GIS are utilized.

  • The digital technologies brought a structural transformation to cinema, have lead a change in the way of existence of an assembly of images called cinema, and have shared expression methods with new-media. To look into how in terms of cinema style of the film era and the digital era are different, this article will focus on the matter of 'indexicality.' From the point of view of perceptive realism the discourses on digital image deconstruct the dichotomy between illusionism and classical realism. Therefore the actuality of an image does not depend on only indexicality but has much to do with how the viewers fundamentally perceive the image. In this age of digital cinema it does not matter to distinct a composite-image from a reality-image. This article inquires the relation of indexicality, the world and digital images in digital cinema on the level of reception, and reconsider in terms of image production.

  • The continuous expansions and development of nuclear power have led to generation of the significant volume of spent fuels and radioactive wastes. And so, safe and effective management of the spent fuel has been becoming internationally sensitive and significant issue since the early 1990s. Especially, more importance would be added in the view point of international politics, because of recent political changes in the countries of Eastern Europe including dissociation of the former Soviet Union and the difficulties faced by the nuclear industries worldwide. Accordingly, this paper is proposed to show an overview of national strategies and Policies on the spent fuel management, that are being assessed and carried out worldwide at this time. The overview is based on recent developments of the national strategies, their implementations and some related experiences presented in IAEA International meetings and some technical papers.

  • Due to the rapid development of Internet technology, qualities of Web services are steadily improving and the Web database systems are actively employed to efficiently manage proper informations in various fields. In this paper, we propose a Web database system for the efficient material management for reusing construction materials. The proposed Web-based management system is operated using the spring framework, after constructing a database based on the collected data including tag ID, Location, Material, State, and Cycle, using the RFID(: Radion Frequency IDentification) system equipped with a location estimation module. Recently, the processing problem for a large amount of the residues generated at the demolition stage of various buildings is magnified in the construction site. The proposed Web-based construction material management system is expected for improving the processing problem as increasing the reusability and for reducing the construction cost as efficiently managing the construction materials for the reuse.

  • A robust, accurate, broad-band, alternating current sensor using fiber-optics is being developed as a part of optical over current protection relay system. The sensor uses the Faraday effect in optical fiber and polarimetric measurements tc sense electrical current. The current sensing coil consists of a length of twisted optical fiber and Faraday rotator mirror to suppress the linear birefringence effect. Due to its single-ended closed path structure, it can not only be easily installed to the target with great isolation from other fields in the vicinity, but the sensitivity can be increased by using multiple turns. This paper reports on the theoretical backgrounds of the sensor design and the preliminary experimental results.

  • A bag filter collector is a kind of air purifier that organizes several or dozens of filters to purify fine dust and release clean air into the atmosphere. If the bag filter length is less than 5m, the dust and fume attached to the bag filter could be effectively removed by passing the compressed air generated by the diaphragm valve through the venturi. Injectors that are more efficient and economical are urgently needed to achieve satisfactory results for long-bag exhaustion of more than 7 meters. In the case of existing domestic and foreign injectors, a number of blow tubes were dismantled during maintenance, and the injector and blow tube were combined to pose a number of problems, including inconvenience of work due to weight increase. In this study, injector flow for the development of the best use of interpretation of the coanda effect and the fourth round of industrial technology Intelligent automation of exhaustion, have been engineered energy than standard equipment. lowering costs and filter life to radically improve the commercial studies.

Ultrasonic Flaw Detection of Turbine Blade Roots (터빈 동익 Root부 초음파 탐상)

  • The necessity of ultrasonic inspection to detect the cracks in turbine blade is being increased as the forced outage of nuclear power plants have been occurred due to blade failure in turbine components. However, the complex blade root geometry causes the ultrasonic inspection technique not to be established yet and much effort is required to set up a more reliable inspection. In this paper, the ultrasonic inspection technique for flaw detectability, skew angle effect, identification of flaw and geometric signal have been investigated with a test block and discussed the interpretation of ultrasonic signal through the acquisition and analysis of RF waveform. The experimental results show that the proper examination procedure can be established. It is required that the skew angle is essential to decrease the effect of signals from the complex blade geometry. The present results of this study can be applied to the site inspection without blade disassembly.

  • Industrial design, as a traditional meaning, is based on the method of production by machine beginning with the Industrial Revolution. At present, the identity of design is in confusion with the development of computer and related medium technology. The new wave called 'cyber' has doubts about the hypothesis in the method of production by machine as the production method by machine had doubts about the hypothesis of the production method by handicraft long before. This thesis is a study on how computers and new media, such as virtual reality, change our environments and susceptibilities of life and design culture. The thesis is going to dismantle and reorganize the material-oriented classification based on the production method by machine through the discussion on cyberspace and culture, image. and text, virtual image and reality, and so on. Eventually this study finds out a topography and identity of the design in this changing age.

Spent Nuclear Fuel Management in South Korea: Current Status and the Way Forward (사용후핵연료 관리 현안 및 정책 제언)

  • This paper presents future directions for spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste management. The successes and failures of siting nuclear waste repository experienced by the United States and other countries are reviewed with the current policy stance. Further, the needs for establishing management policy, considering the high-level radioactive waste produced by the dismantlement, nuclear security concerns, and cost-effectiveness analysis for the total nuclear fuel cycle, are emphasised. Technical discussions are organised into three main topics: interim storage, permanent disposal, and reprocessing. Licensing regimes are also investigated to suggest strategic plans for research and development programmes in the Republic of Korea.
